Pros Square is a great POS platform with many extra tools for businesses of any size. The tablet used is simple to learn for any employee. Cons There are fees when charging credit cards. I’m not obligated to obtain a walk in customer’s address and phone numbers. If you’re suspicious, then it’s your problem. Law doesn’t require me to investigate about a customer. If the payment is successful then it’s done. You accepted the payment and later you withheld ?!!!! No ethics. Pros Nothing at all! It’s the worst payment service provider I’ve ever dealt with. Cons After signing up by two days, they held my payments and requested my business license and bank statements. Etc. A friend recommended it to me and I really didn’t dig deep to find out more about Square. They requested a government ID, Selfie. They wasted my time and caused me stress plus holding my money!!! I've also used square payments to get beauty services done. It was a easy process and instant deposit. Pros Square payments is user friendly, Square payments is an affordable software. Square payments setup process is user friendly and pricing is reasonable and no monthly fees. Cons The cons about Square payments is the transaction fee. September 6, 2024 5.0 Square is one of my favorite payment methods when running my business. It is super easy and flexible and I can quit at anytime. No contracts needed! Pros Square is a very easy to setup and it is very flexible compared to other options. I am one of the many hundreds of thousands of people who use this and I am very happy with my experience.
