The overall experience with this product is nothing short of fantastic. Pros The ease of connecting to Web Rest APIs is the reason we purchased the product. We are using it to connect to many different APIs. The support is phenomenal!! Their support team helped me find bugs in my vendor’s API. Cons I have not found anything not to like. Pros Great features, easy and clean install. I have not found any bugs yet, the code seems very clean and works as intended. Really powerful tool that allows us to do many of the ETL functions not possible in the base SSIS product. I haven't done a lot of API rest integration and the Zappy support was fantastic in helping me pilot and setup my first service call/consumption. Cons Really nothing so far, the install was clean and the SSIS power pack integrates seamlessly into SSIS and feels native. One of our challenges was the task of importing data from a remote server in the Oracle cloud. Our data provider exposes the data in a couple of different JSON formats based on a customized REST API interface. Some of the JSON schemas were quite complex, including hierarchical data structures. After evaluating and testing similar products from different vendors, we have found the ZappySys package of components was the best package to address all our needs. We are impressed by the encapsulated intelligence in their components. In addition, ZappySys has the best tech support. Pros \- Many useful features - Very intuitive UI - Easy to customize - Very well documented - Great tech support Cons No cons. I was able to use the JSON source without issues and now I'm trying another API with OAuth 2.0, that is proving to be a little complicated. I've contacted support and the guys are very responsive and helpful always! Pros The SSIS components work well and are reliable. Zappysys is critical to the success of our data and analytic needs. Pros Zappysys has made extracting data from our API sources fast and easy. No coding is involved and any support we have need was available with quick turnarounds. The seamless integration with SQL was critical for us and Zappysys has made that simple. It just works.
