DocuNet Reviews
"Product has worked extremely well for us."
Pros: Ability to search key words easily, customised annotations. Content update is easy to do. Traffic light GUIshowing the status of all users/devices to check how current their content is proves useful for auditing.
Cons: DocuNet Admin Centre - not able to upload multiple files at the same time in Web Update. UserNet - Unable to upload a CSV file of Users which casues severe headaches in adding mandrualically new staff to the system with two stages - user details and then password is another stage. CrewNet is far easier to manage from an administration side which is interesting considering that UsrNet si newer and should be more admin user-friendly. We are also unable to permanently delete users from the system. They remain in a recycled bin system. Users who have left the Company need to have their details wiped from all Corporate systems as part of Data Protection regulations and at present this is not possible. These issues need to be addressed as a matter of urgency. Indeed the latter was raised at a DocuNet user Day in the Autumn of last year.
"Works Straight Out of the Gate"
Overall: I have had only positive experiences so far. I have used it several times over the past year, and it is easy for me and my clients to use.
Pros: I like how easy it is to sign documents. That sounds basic, but let me explain. After years of struggling with Adobe Sign and trying to teach my clients to use it, which was next to impossible, this is a breath of fresh air. I literally send the document, the client opens it and signs it with just a few clicks. It is then recorded and sent back to me.
Cons: Nothing. It is great and does the job it is supposed to do each and every time I use it. Thank appreciate how simple it is to use.
"A bit cumbersome"
Pros: I do like being able to store and share the documents and data regarding a project.
Cons: The functionalities are a bit cumbersome. Could be a little more user friendly.
Vendor Response
"Good software but bad support services especially from Production team."
Overall: As an EFB approved airlines, this software is very good as a manual sharing platform (document management system).
Pros: The software is user friendly especially for the end user. Very straight forward. The feature of this software is easy to be used by both admin and end user.
Cons: This software is good except the support from Vistair team especially Production team. Vistair team tend to take very long time to return draft copy of manual to be published in DocuNet eventhough the changes is minor.
"I'm activly revise operational documents in DocuNet, this process is easy and very efficient. "
Pros: Search function is a dream! Positive to have different documents open at the same time, which makes comparasion easy and fast.
Cons: Pending software updates, when downloading them DocuNet stops to be accessible. This is not good in an operational enviroment. It should be pulled iso. pushed.
