Grammarly is such a useful tool that some schools do not even allow its usage, showing how truly useful it is to help word things properly. Cons Sadly, some schools have banned the software, understandably. This makes it harder to use conventionally, yet there are still many, many use cases. As an aspiring writer, I love having it running in the background, however there are times when the suggestions must be ignored. It is so easy to work with it, and it only takes a few minutes to run a spell-check and auto-correction. Totally worth it! Pros Grammerly is a great AI-driven writing assistance program. I use the paid version all the time. It also offers a free version, that can catch your grammatical mistakes and spelling problems. However, you need a paid version to enhance your writing, punctuation check, and tone check. The paid version totally worth it, and several users can use it at the same time with one account. Your texts are always backed up in their cloud service once you uploaded it into their platform, and you do not need to worry about your changes being lost because of Internet break-ups. I use the paid version, however, the free version is also very good. Pros I love working with Grammerly. It is a great tool for proofreading docuements. It gives you word suggestions, and offers annotation and spell check. I use the business version which features more capabilities compared to the free online version. My colleagures and I are using one suite together. We can use it simultaneously. Also, your document is being saved on a cloud, while using this software. So, you will not lose it while having an account on Grammerly. Cons There are not so many things I dislike about Grammerly. The only thing I can mention is that you always need access to internet to be assisted by Grammerly. It would be helpgul to have an offline version as well. Human error is extremely common especially when you are tired and rushing to get something sent out. Grammarly has been a godsend and overjoyed that I decide to make the switch from a competitor. Grammarly keeps all my correspondences are grammatically correct, which in turn is a reflection of me and my business to all third parties. Pros Grammarly has been a game-changer for me. Despite the very few cons I will be listing below, I am extremely glad that I decided to sign up with Grammarly. I have used several notably spellcheck, and word proofing applications that are out on the market, and this is by far the best one. I like to consider myself a power user with the number of emails, memos, and documents that I send out on daily basis. This software has saved me from sending those embarrassing messages or documents with silly grammatical errors. It helps maintain that level of professionalism with regard to your typed correspondence, especially when you're trying to get it out fast. Cons This is more of a general statement than anything, but depending upon the level of usage, it could be a little on the expensive side. It flags Repetition words, overused words. Cons There are lots of features missing though it has all big features. 1. It loses bullet and Number Data. It makes all numerical bullets as 1 for all bullets. Do you need to go back to Shopify and change? 2. Once we copy data from your apps to Shopify blogs, it loses the link title brought in while copying from our store. Can you please help to protect it? 3. Your Grammarly app works on Shopify products, but it does not work on Blogs, and Collection needs your help to work on the same. 4. Once we copy from Shopify or any other data, if there is any table in the content, it loses Table formatting. It shows one line below each item, which makes it to reformating and lengthy exercise, or we sometimes need to leave the table for Grammarly check. 5. there should also be a page duplicacy checker highlighting any repeating words or lines on the same page or paragraphs, which shall improve our canonical problems.
