One thing that i love about this software is that it has improved my writing skills. Having used it for the last three years i have seen my skills in writing improve. Am also excited about the auto proof reading feature that allows one to punctuate,correct the spelling mistake, avoid redundancy and avoid repetition. The software also helps one in coming up with original content through the plagiarism checker. Cons The software is pricey. Am also not excited that the tool can only be used when you are connected to the internet. September 23, 2020 5.0 We love the emails it sends with the stats for your week/month? It's interesting to see how many errors it fixed and your productivity compared to others using the software. However, every time I use our database I have to shut it off. I can disable on that site entirely, but need to assure the grammar is correct in each of the fields. Pros It can automatically run in your browser, using mobile devices, documents, allowing you to check your grammar on the go, and in everything you do. Cons The fact it checks any fields you type in on a browser is sometimes a hassle. For instance, if it pops up when I am using our database, it blocks the corner where I need to access the ability to pull the window open larger. It's not a HUGE issue, just happens often. Grammarly saved my ass again" July 5, 2022 5.0 It was on August 18 2020 that Grammarly saved my ass, how? Well, I was applying to a volunteer program called Childhood Cancer society-it's a local organization here in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia- and on their application forum, I was asked to describe in a few words why I would want to volunteer and help kids living with cancer. Here is the crazy part, the submission date was due after one day. I started writing whatever I could think of, cancer, childhood, and people's motives to help, it was bizarre I know! But I had no choice, so after I compiled that 500-word essay I needed to edit the whole thing. So you know who I called? I bet you're going to say my English teacher right? Nope! There is one close friend of mine whose been there with me through my writing career there are rumors he used to tell my grammar mistakes to the developer. Anyhow, do you know who I'm talking about? Exactly! Mr. G to the Y - Grammarly. So I used Grammarly to correct my mistakes and submitted the essay on time. I have never been more proud of software than I'm with Grammarly, I mean whoever developed this software, You have got some serious brain! In fact, I'm using Grammarly right now, to write a review about Grammarly. I know, epic, right? Pros It's is soooo time efficient. I don't have to cycle through books and dictionaries to check my grammar and spelling because Grammarly does it for me with like few seconds and time is money.
