I like the feature that it automatically detects grammar and spelling errors and suggests the correct format of words, spelling and punctuation marks in every sentence. It is a great addition to everyday use software in the office or at home. It is very user-friendly and with a simple click and voila! You have everything sorted out and corrected for a perfect correspondence! I love this software and all its functionalities! Cons It requires an internet connection to use it! If you are working offline, then you cannot use Grammarly. So far, I like most of its features and functionalities. It helps me a lot in my writings and everyday work! This is important so I am allowed to focus on the written work rather than being distracted by basic errors. Pros The engine of Grammarly is getting even better recently. I started used this software many years ago and its proofreading capacity for English has improved a lot. It saves a bunch of time of correction, and editing. The best thing it can do is to check the paragraph structure and suggest a content that is compatible with the writer's interest. The suggested corrections by the software are almost 100% accurate, which enables it suitable for academic proofreading. I'd say 7 out of 10 times they're incredibly helpful, but sometimes the context of the message can throw it off and make it less useful. If you write a lot of professional emails, it is definitely a nice thing to have backing you up on days when maybe your coffee hasn't kicked in yet . :) Pros I like the seamless integration of Grammarly into the web browser / document. You don't even see it or know that it's running until it pops up with a helpful little suggestion, or saves you from typing something you definitely didn't mean to! Cons I find that the "grammar" and "style" corrective suggestions are often difficult to reconcile when trying to type to someone in an informal way. The truth is, some emails and interactions do call for a more casual wording and phrasing, and Grammarly doesn't seem to have a filter to know when it might be appropriate to use internet shorthand.
