Pros There is a free trial available which can be installed and we were able to see the benefits even before paying. Grammarly correct any syntax errors spelling mistakes but also improves the overall word selection and sentence construction. It edits and improves a document on the go so we can just click on the solutions being given and include them in the document. Cons I cannot think of any cons for grammarly acceptor sometimes the suggestions may not be appropriate for the document or text. Review Source Igor A. It's suggestions are, for the most part, contextual and correct. Cons Every once in a while, it gets buggy. It will suggest nonsensical changes, such as random capitalizations in the middle of sentences and wanting to insert commas where commas shouldn't be. It also is apparently programmed by people who like to virtue signal, because it tries to shame you out of using words like "workmanship" or "craftsmanship" because those words are supposedly "gender biased." Pros While it's not perfect, Grammarly Business is a solid alternative to a "human" proofreader. This tool has become a MUST for our team, and since it can be used across practically all platforms that we write on, it is constantly pushing us to improve our writing skills. The tool works better than any other automated grammar checking tool I have tried in the past. I find the reports very useful, as they give me insight into my most common mistakes. Every week, I spend a couple of hours reviewing grammar rules based on those insights in an effort to finetune my writing skills. Cons The only drawback so far has involved certain compatibility issues with the Chrome add-on, as Grammarly's seems to sometimes interfere with other tools and can't be used in some cases where we need to access internal client portals that must be outdated and outright reject the app. In addition, this tool is designed for those who wish to communicate in American English, and some uses that are particular to British English are flagged as errors because of this. Often times the dropdown disappears too quickly for me to click in to change things, so I end up having to click a few times in order to get it changed, which sometimes just leads to me manually changing it after Grammarly catches the error. Cons Grammarly's free version is very restricted, although it may easily be expanded by adding some other features. Another issue is that it only works in English; I'd like to see it work in other languages as well. Finally, I believe it is a bit overpriced for what it provides. Cons All the features are really helpful, but still there are improvements available for working on it. Browser extension did not work properly for many occasions and need to correct several times. The pricing also little bit high. Need a lot of improvements in the algorithm, because it is not perfect at all for many occasions.
