Pros: LogMeIn Central provide a great solution for supporting multiple workstations and at the same time providing the ability to manage a software VPN that is reliable and easy to setup

Cons: Pricing has gone up over the years. I understand their model but I think that taking away the free version with less features was a mistake.

Pros: Ideal for remote access, remote massive installation, execute backup commands. Perfect for those who have multiple clients that need IT support. You can squedule multiple task to run in one or multiple machines.

Cons: It is a great software, the only drawback is the price, it increases, at the same time you get more services.

Pros: SO helpful to log into work software from home so that I could complete tasks in peace. Very nice being able to remotely do payroll.

Cons: I quite enjoyed this software, but when it came time for renewal, the price skyrocketed. The boss did not want to renew.

Logmein Central Made it easy to manage all our endpoints.

Pros: Managing all our clients was easy with Logmein Central. We could easily see who's online, or not. Manage updates, easily obtain remote access, and all the other features are a huge plus.

Cons: I couldn't really find a huge downside to this software. Their support is amazing, the features are up there with all of their competitors.

Pros: Not much of anything honestly. I guess you get to see all your computers listed in one spot, does that count?

Cons: It takes a long time to connect to each computer and they you have to disconnect to get back to the screen to see the other computer, very time consuming.

Pros: This is a good computer management support tool for my company. It has lots of monitoring tools, which are helpful in diagnosis.

Cons: They raised the price quite a bit about a year ago, then my boss said to find another option. That's a shame since Logmein was one of the first softwares I used.

Pros: I love this because we run multiple sites and most of them are ran remotely. When one has an issue with door codes I can just hop on log me in and check out the issue on that computer on site.

Cons: If you forget your password it locks you out for quite a while before being able to log back in again.

Pros: LogMeIn makes it easy to have a central repository to go to to be able to log in to all of the machines you need to remotely control. The interface is easy to use and I like how I've seen it continue to improve over the years.

Cons: As time has gone on the price has continued to increase at unexpected times, sometimes there was grandfathering, and sometimes there wasn't. Never know when they are going to hit ya...

Comments: Overall I rate this product very high. I get on a lot of various conference calls throughout my week and this tool is a necessity.

Pros: I've been using Open Voice for a while to conduct my conference calls and its been a great product. I even get an email summary after my call that I can record and track if necessary

Cons: We have had issues in the past with people getting on the conference lines, but that has been minimal.

Helps us manage our infrastructure at a good price

Pros: We use the user management, antivirus management, system health monitoring and computer grouping according to location, access and permission frequently to keep on eye on everything and compared to the other software we looked at this has been a great buy for us.

Cons: The only major issue that I have with this product isn't even with the product, it is with the customer support that assists whenever an issue comes up. Being escalated to different tiers of support until you are able to get to the person who can actually help you.

Very helpful product when doing IT support.

Pros: This software helps us to track all our organization pc's in one place. The dashboard allows you to see the health, updates and antivirus statuses of the organization.

Cons: Not inexpensive. When using this product in a large organization the cost can be quite high in order to track all of your assets.

Overall: Changed the way our department is run when doing IT support.

Pros: Quick connection to office server from home. No need to log in every time, simply click on the device you want to connect to and you're in!

Cons: Occasionally can be slow, and sometimes if inactive for a few minutes you are automatically logged out.

Pros: Overall, we found LogMeIn easy to install and connect. Employees then have to create a LogMeIn account and designate their computer as the host computer, including creating and sharing a passcode, which they share with the administrator. However, once the program is installed, the credentials can be saved to speed up the login and connection process for future sessions.

Cons: The initial setup process is more involved and complicated for the host computer than it is for the admin.

Pros: What I like most about LogMeIn is the smooth setup(s) and it's versatility. Another plus is the ability to import as well as export files directly and instantly.

Pros: Not only can our company log into over 2,000 PCs and Macs, but we can do so much more! Without even disrupting the end-user, LogMeIn Central allows you to run command-line commands, edit the registry, view the event log, transfer files, schedule reboots, and more.

It's very nice to have that functionality when supporting our clients.

Cons: The price. Over the past 3 years, LogMeIn has increased their price by triple what it was before. Yeah, it's great software but if you look at something like Autotask Endpoint Management, you get the same functionality. Depending on how many devices you have, you might find the same functionality elsewhere for cheaper. But if you do have close to the 2500 PC limit for the plan that we are on, it ends up being less.

Overall: Ability to remote control our clients' PCs from the office. As an IT company, that's very important. We also are able to run scripts and do a lot of backend tasks without disrupting the end clients.

Pros: We have clients that we are not able to vpn or rdp to since they have their own networks. We use logmein to remote into the computers that run our software so we can troubleshoot issues. This software is pretty smooth and easy to use for what we use it for. The process to configure it is simple and any one can manage this. My overall use of this is everyday 8hrs a day. well made software.

Cons: At times it can be a heavy resource constraint on a computer that is limited with hardware. It could use some updates to it's functions but not a bad con, more like a minimal con.

We used log me in for years.

Pros: I liked the basic function of remote desktop access. The interface was user friendly enough. We also utilized their cloud service, Cubby, while it was around.

Cons: CUBBY was not a user friendly service, it is good they discontinued it. LogMeIn worked perfectly fine, we just discontinued use when we were offered a less expensive alternative with another program we use.

Pros: Ease of use, ease of administration, ease of installation are all very high. Price of LMI Central basic is very competitive.

Cons: Basic is missing a lot of essential features unfortunately (remote file transfer, remote printing, inventory management, OS updates, etc) and stepping up to the next tier can get very pricy.

Love this product - being able to access work computer from anywhere is a lifesaver!

Pros: I work remotely and sometimes need to assist my team members with computer issues. LogMeIn allows me to log into their computer so I can trouble shoot and correct the problem.

Cons: Ran into some issues with logging in but was able to remedy the situation. I had saved the password on the log in pop-up and after a while it locked me out of the computer I was trying to access. Had to go through a few steps to clear the error but was able to get back in. Removing the saved password has kept me from running into this problem again.

The free version was awesome!

Pros: Does the job. Our IT guy works remotely for our team that is all over the US. LogMeIn has made his job super easy.

Cons: We get alot of login failures. The price is outrageous. Customer Support has been good to us so far when we asked for a price discount which we shouldn't have had to do.

Overall: Would be a really good product if the price wasn't so high.

Pros: This tool has simplified remote connection and remote management of PCs. We use it for about 250 PCs. Our IT staff love it due to its reliability and ease of use. Our staff love it because it makes it trivial for IT staff to fix their machines remotely.

Cons: The price has been going up every year. It is getting expensive enough that we may have to look for a more cost effective solution.

Pros: I like that I can set a code that gets emailed to me that is required before logging in, since there are so many attempted logins from other countries. There¿s a lot of personal information on my computer, so obviously I would like to keep it that way. It¿s great that it¿s free, but that goes without saying.

Cons: When I called customer service about all of the attempted logins from around the world, they were very unimpressed and said not to worry about it. Also, it would be a lot nicer to be able to use a keyboard and mouse just as if you were sitting at that computer instead of manipulating the screen around.

Pros: The software was easy to use and deploy.
I liked the mobile app. I was able to turn on machines remotely.

Cons: If it was not for the insane price hike a little over a year ago, we would still be using it. For a non-profit, we could not afford the increase.

Overall: Ability to remote control machines as well as turn them on remotely (Wake on LAN).

Pros: When traveling and working out of the area, LogMeIn keeps me connected to my desktop and sever. Once everything is downloaded, you are good to go! Very simple log in.

Cons: The price did go up, but considering what you¿re receiving, I understand. To be able to stay connect while away is truly priceless.

Pros: Logmein enables you to remotely log into computers. It works well, even allowing you to import/export files directly (which is not possible through Chrome remote desktop). It works a little better than Chrome as well; faster, smoother operations, and more natural when working with multiple screens

Cons: The additional functionality of logmein, when compared to Chrome remote desktop (a free option) was not enough for me to continue using it; unless you're a heavy user, I suggest sticking with free software

Pros: Once you download the software to your home computer, you can access the office server in minutes! We can view the office schedule and other information and utilize our dental management software from home. Very convenient.

Cons: Once in awhile, there are connectivity issues, or the server kicks you off when the remote access computer is idle too long. It is a bit frustrating but happens only rarely.

Seamless remote access to all workstations eliminating otherwise time consuming visits in person for simple support tasks.

Comments: I have used many remote software applications and LogMeIn is hands down the most useful and versatile player in the market. There is nothing I have found the program incapable of accomplishing and I am constantly learning new features that save me time and my clients money. It would take hours to relay all of the benefits of LogMeIn for the real world IT professional.

Pros: Instant access to multiple networks through one account interface. Easy setup and deployment of software packages and scripts for multiple scheduled maintenance tasks. File transfers are simply drag and drop convenient. With a wide range of collected data at disposal, workstation health is displayed for all aspects of computer function. There is an option to remotely power on and off computers and manage services without the need to remotely take over the computer.

Cons: The only change I would like to see is to eliminate the disconnect that happens momentarily while updating the LogMeIn client software. (It automatically reconnects without intervention.)

I use this product almost daily to access software and files from our host computer.

Pros: It is easy to use and allows me to be in two places at once - which is essential to keeping up with my daily tasks.

Cons: It is a bit overpriced. The product does save me quite a bit of travel time, but the convenience is almost not worth the price.

Overall: It allows me to access files and information from different locations. I can also print documents from the host computer to the local printer.

Pros: It's easy to use even with hundreds of computers set up, all organized into group folders with a wealth of information available to you before you even remote connect to the user's computer. It has a huge array of customization options and features to access without ever feeling overwhelming, and has support information and access right from the main page.
It's extremely useful for remote management, in addition to just being impressive to clients.

Cons: They are, bar none, the best remote access and support software on the market. This however means that when they raise their prices, which they seem to do every year, you're left to either take it and raise your own prices slightly, or eat the loss.
They also seem to have dropped the live chat support feature, as it's always marked "Offline" on the support drop-down even though it's within the posted hours.

Overall: I can't imagine doing my job without this software. Things would be so much more clunky and take twice as long without it. It's that good and that important for offering remote support.

I highly recommend this business solution for IT support as well as personal use

Pros: I like how easy it is to use when I am out of the office and need access to my desktop. It has saved my work life many a times when I need a document for my boss or information for my client while working remotely.

Cons: They recently added a program to download to be able to access your computer as opposed to viewing it through your internet browser. The only problem with this can be downloaded something when there are restrictions on your computer that won't allow you to take this action.

Pros: I like that it's extremely fast to connect into devices. The UI is very responsive as well so it makes navigating and connecting VERY fast. I have had excellent session quality with this product.

Cons: The cost is higher than other products with similar features. The "remember my password" setting to connect is saved per computer, not globally, so it must be saved for each computer you connect into.

Pros: With multiple computers that I need access to being able to do so remotely is great. Clients are always amazed that we can change the lights while we are standing there talking.

Cons: At times this is slow to load, it may be computer dependent but once it loads fully there are no issues.

Pros: My employees can be kept up and running. They can be productive from anywhere while techs login to troubleshoot.

Cons: Often slow, depending upon connection. Lagtime does occur. But usually no problems. The slowest is the start up time when first using.

Pros: LogMeIn offers many of the features necessary to remotely access and support end users. It has a small RAM and processor footprint and is compatible with Windows XP through Windows 10.

Cons: Comparatively very expensive for companies. Customer support is hit or miss. Some TeamViewer techs are very helpful. Others seem to care less about helping.

Pros: LogMeIn Central allows technical support specialists to view the end-users machine from anywhere in the world. You can transfer files, shadow their session, or share your desktop with them.

Cons: The multiple sub-tiers of the product are a bit confusing. LogMeIn Central... Central basic, Central Plus, Central, Premium. We have the middle level. Some of the articles LogMeIn has says features are available for Central, then at the bottom of the article is clarifies it is only for the Premium members.

Overall: Shadowing an end-user session from anywhere in the world is priceless. When a user cannot get on the network, but they can at least get on a webpage, you can LogMeIn to their machine and get them up and running in no time.

When you are an IT pro - this is the tool for you

Pros: There is something really special about logmein. This software rocks!
when you manage several companies, several computers, servers, and remote users you know you have your hands full.
Logmein is one of the greatest to help you achieve just that.
You can create groups (companies), assign users to the groups, give them rights to those groups, have computers in the groups... and you can manage all of those computers and connect to them remotely.
Depending on the version you can do things remotely without having to sing into the computer and know everything you need to know about the status of the computer from a single place (the Central).

I have rarely had an issue or a problem with it, it was awesome to be able to control and help free users (no longer an option) and know that no matter what you have the right tool to connect every single time.

Deployment is also extremely simple

Cons: The only thing I did not love was the fact that they removed the free version.
By doing so they removed the option to have people who are starting out to build their business.
They also forced several people into finding alternatives that would not be as expensive.

Overall: This is the one I chose every single time.
I was one of the first users of logmein and I fell in love with it from the beginning.
I have been a loyal customer and I always recommend it.
Few companies have achieved a level of mastery like logmein has.
Simply the top choice for IT professionals like me.

Pros: What I like about LMI Central, in the premiere package, is the bundling of Anti-Virus and now application management and updates. The ease of being able to remotely access an end-user's workstation is what totally sells me on the software. In the past, I had to have VPN access to my work network or with other tools, I could only use Windows to access end-users over the web but with LMI, its platform agnostic and they have a great mobile app for iOS and Android that allows you to connect to anyone in your list from virtually any device.

Cons: The biggest drawback in my use is the ability to push Windows updates, Anti-Virus installs and application updates. There is a fairly intuitive panel to push out all the requests but using it is like trying to crochet with space gloves, as you never get a real sense of feedback that the changes you requested are actually being implemented in near-real time. Sometimes the end-users workstations falsely report that they are missing installations that I know they are not, so there is a lot of fiddling with the end-users workstation in order to get it to report to LMI correctly. Also, when you've subscribed to the package that includes anti-virus installs, there is no way to centrally manage the AV, as its provided by a third party.

Overall: I was able to wrangle in all of my end-users into one unified platform to both maintain windows and application updates and push out anti-virus installations.

Cons: It is affected by internet connectivity. This is not a software issue. It would be nice to have an offline feature if possible.

Overall: Our accounting firm uses this program for employees who work remotely. They are able to access our network and shared drives with ease. I really like the security features; when we had an unauthorized login attempt, the program immediately emailed a supervisor.

Recommendations to other buyers: It does require you to leave the computer in question on indefinitely, just something to be aware of

Pros: Great mobile , Mac and PC management. The remote sessions were easy to connect and always reliable. Great for asset management and remote support.
Excellent tech and customer support.

Cons: The Mac update/Patch feature needs to be implemented.

Overall: After using several remote agents in the past ,I find this tool very fast and reliable when connecting to cross platform devices. Easy deployment with customizable features.

Overall: I use LogMeIn daily for remote access and support of our workforce. It works really well and allows me to complete administrative tasks without needing the user to do anything. The pricing has gone up. I wish there was a lower tier for those that don't need things like the built in AZ.

Pros: Easy to use, the fast setup can see multiple monitors, the iPhone app.

Cons: The cost has gone up, but it is worth the price.

Overall: I used this to remote to my office computer from anywhere. I can easily remote in, see both of my monitors, and navigate as if I am in my office. I highly recommend this product.

Comments: Honestly, what would I do without LogMeIn? I try so hard to leave work behind but every once in awhile I just have to get on my computer and check something out. Running a preschool means needing to be up to date with grumpy parents and having a way to see old communication, ouch reports or anything saved on my computer is perfect. I love how LogMeIn is simple to use, easy to get at what I need and I can even shut down my computer when I'm done!

Pros: It does what it says. The ability to log in from anywhere has been great.

Cons: Using it on a phone is not the easiest.

Overall: I used LogMeIn to help troubleshoot problems, so that I don't have to always be there. I've been able to fix simple things from my phone or tablet even. It has been very helpful.

Pros: I can't imagine trying to support our clients over the phone without having this product available!

Cons: Occasionally some corporate IT teams will block it... which is not their fault!
