### "Tensorflow for Deep Learning Applications"

April 23, 2019

4.0

It

Pros

Tensorflow is an open source library for deep learning algorithms. In case I had problems with Tensorflow implementation or deployment, I found wide support from the Tensorflow community. Tensorflow comes with tensorboard, which a great tool to visualize the learning process and to track the progress of your application in terms of the accuracy and the gradients.

Cons

As starting to learn the basic deep learning tools using Tensorflow, I found it not straight forward in terms of the sessions and variables management. It is quite tricky though to debug the code if it has some problems. Also, TesnorFlow does not support dynamic graphs. It was not an issue for me in the beginning, however, it started to be a challenging problem while dealing with dynamic graphs (e.g. text modeling).

a must use library for deep learning and ML

Pros

I think it's the best and most powerful ML and deep learning library available as of now. Tensor has lot and lots of support for deep learning algorithms. It comes with lot of inbuilt function which makes the thing easy for ML developer.

Cons

Only cons about this is it's long learning curve.

### "TensorFlow for school project"

April 12, 2019

5.0

Pros

I did have chance to use couple of tensorFlow features for my university project, i figured it has lots of features and applicability especially those computation graphs within NN

Cons

My problem was that i had a hard time understanding how I'm able to do what im looking for, more examples with a better defined documentation might be helpful, as a learner it was hard for me

### "TensorFlow - "Google" Solution in an Ocean of Better Solutions"

August 20, 2021

3.0

I've used TensorFlow for several years now, but I've done so begrudgingly. My support for Google and their exploitive platforms has waned, and I've begun shifting my attention to other solutions.

Pros

TensorFlow has its merits. It's very easily deployable, and allows users to leverage the Machine Learning reportedly used within Google itself. Building models for use in breaking up and learning from large datasets is also relatively simple.

Cons

"Open Source" and "Google" do not go hand-in-hand. The service remains ultimately tied to Google, and unless a community begins to use the source to build an independent Machine Learning framework, it's not truly "Open Source", it's just "free to use so we can easily access your data". There are better options available, ones that are really Open Source.

### "The best deep learning library"

June 25, 2018

5.0

I have been using this for one and half year, and it's a good learning. And also efficient to build deep learning models.

Pros

It is best library to wirte models for deep learning. One advantage is that it is open source. One of the best thing is that, now it has lots of pre built neural network architecture in it.

Cons

This library requires a long learning period, understanding everything in this library is not very easy.

### "Tensorflow is the best open source library for machine learning framework"

June 29, 2018

5.0

Helped me to create various machine learning models

Pros

Some of the pros are as follows: 1. Compatible across various platforms like GPU, CPU and TPU. 2. Better computational power, performance and graphical visualization than Theano, Torch etc. 3. Keras could be used as backend for the same. 4. It could be used on various devices from cell phones to powerful supercomputers.

Cons

Some of the cons are as follows: 1. Lack of Symbolic loops (which is given in Theano and Caffe) 2. Lack of support on Windows.

### "The Rising star for the Deep Learning..."

June 12, 2018

5.0

Pros

\- Unintuitive design - Computational Graph can be executed immediately - Development is extremely rapid - Python Numpy support Yaay - Better for Deployment - Don't forget about the Google's DeepMind, Google Brain, Toronto, IDSIA etc

Cons

\- Documentation can be more refined - Can hog a GPU - For practical ML Tasks other than Deep learning, I will still prefer Scikit learn - Overkill for simpler tasks - Not enough pre-trained models for practical use - Slower than some of the frameworks

### "Gold standard in the machine learning world"

August 27, 2019

4.0

Using machine learning in several projects. They all needed tensorflow even when I am not directly using it, but rather using other machine learning packages.

Pros

Developed by Google, Tensorflow is now the go to package for most machine learning projects that need to manage computations with huge amounts of calculations and data. Everyone uses it so you can't go wrong.

Cons

Huge learning curve. It is very difficult to just pick up. Most people have to use other packages built on top of tensorflow.
