Overall, we use IT Glue for tracking our assets. It's pretty easy to open and perform a search. It is nice to have not just hardware, but certificates and domain information, as well.

Pros

The search tool is so fast! It makes look ups a breeze! Entries are well-organized and have lots of options for capturing information. I like how you can save information and re-use it on later entries. (like brand and model, for example) I like how you can see activity in the app, and see what data has been added and by whom.

Cons

It has lots of options for capturing and sharing information. All those choices and options are almost overwhelming and can make getting started a challenge.

Our overall experience with ITGlue was outstanding. Esteban worked with us every minute we accessed ITGlue and he helped us ramp us quickly.

Pros

Ease of use with included templates and the remarkable support. I cannot say enough about the help Esteban gave our team.

Cons

Unable to roll out for entire organization because of lack of secure hierarchy. We wanted to be able to roll ITGlue out for several of our departments but we did not know that Administration could not be separated. We have overcome this opportunity by using ITGlue for only one department and changing the URL to help with this. When we launch a second department, we will use a separate implementation of ITGlue and URL.

The platform improves collaboration by giving technicians fast access to standardized documentation, SOPs, configurations, and client information in one place. IT Glue also performs very well in day-to-day operations. Navigation, searches, and document access are generally fast and responsive, helping technicians work more efficiently and reduce troubleshooting time. The relationship mapping between assets, passwords, and documents further streamlines workflows and client support. Another standout feature is the customer support. Very good, no real issues that I've found yet. A little annoying that the search field saves the last search constantly but I can work around it.

Pros

Fast response, easy to use UI, has integrations into other kaseya products to make for a larger solution for the team to use.

Cons

It has no QR code scanner for when setting up the MFA tokens in each password field. Have to use a 3rd party to get the information when other password/document systems have had it built in for years.

Since we use it glue we do not have to search or ask team mate for password find who as the 2fa text message.

A single place to have all passwords and easy management of who as access to it at what time. Easy 2fa management

Cons

Very long onboarding and transfer from our old environment. Also not clear on what box are needed for each filed and their interaction with other field .

Pros

I can have everything in one place, from documents, passwords to devices configurations. I can create documents that includes all organizations/companies' infrastructure, create and modify flexible assets however I want, and can even create alerts

Cons

Some features don't work well, like the browser extension, some integrations are limited and there's no way to be granular when reviewed stale configurations

IT Glue is really helpful for keeping client info, passwords, documentation, and processes in one place. It makes it easier to find what is needed when supporting a client, especially when multiple techs are working on the same environment. The password management and documentation side are probably the biggest wins, and it helps with collaboration across the team.

Cons

The main downside is that it is only as good as the information entered into it. If documentation is outdated or not filled out well, it can slow things down. Some areas can also feel a little slow or take extra clicks when trying to quickly find something.

Pros

I really like how IT Glue makes day-to-day work faster and more organised. The Q shortcut to instantly find any documentation saves a huge amount of time, especially when juggling multiple clients. The Smart SOP generator is also very helpful for creating consistent processes quickly. I also value the ability to securely store 2FA details, which keeps everything in one place while maintaining strong security for the team.

Cons

The search function can sometimes feel inconsistent, especially when trying to locate older or very specific records. Another issue is that even after an organisation is archived, some passwords still appear in search results, which can be confusing and impact overall data cleanliness.

IT Glues core features work very well. When using just the website, the ability to easily add documentation (you can import directly from word or PDF documents), share passwords with OTP codes, and easily add network documentation from Lucid all work very well. The downside is some of the integration features don't work - the password extension does not function and the DattoRMM integration for passwords is buggy.

Pros

Ease of use and features. The ability to share important information with all members of the IT staff is critical. We use it for asset information, passwords, network diagrams and knowledge base articles.

Cons

Can be a bit confusing to setup and integrate with other Kaseya products. The UI can sometimes be a bit cumbersome to use - requiring multiple clicks to get where you need to go. The password extension does not work correctly.

IT Glue organizes our client data in a fantastic, searchable format that saves tons of time

Cons

A few things: - when searching, you cannot tap enter after your search term or an annoying context menu opens that can only be cancelled by pressing escape. Super counter-intuitive - Consistency: it would be great if we could past inline images everywhere (like in passwords) and not just in certain arbitrary areas. - LAN diagrams should be larger in the preview window, lots of wasted real estate

I like the management of the domain names for each client. It gives a quick summary of expiry dates and emails notices.
