### "IT Glue Captures all of our Documentation and Keeps it Secure"

The biggest benefit is the mobility of IT Glue. Having the ability to access critical documentation from anywhere is crucial for our organization.

Pros

The best part of IT Glue is having the pre-build forms and integrated 'build-as-you-go' documents for users who are not very documentation oriented.

Cons

One feature we would like to see is 'live' documents. Dynamic content and documentation keeps real time documentation fluid with our clients changes and projects.

Pros

IT Glue's documentation platform is second to none for us. It has made it easy to put in the procedure guides our techs need every day, and it has made it easy to keep track of client's assets. One of the biggest things has been the integrations with our other platforms, and those have been massively helpful as it has saved us countless hours.

Cons

A little on the pricey side, but nothing that I've ever felt ripped off by. It definitely requires you to think through how you want to structure everything BEFORE you start putting it in (learned that the hard way).

I use ITG in an MSP and have for years. It is literally the only information store I would recommend.

Pros

Good safe passwqord management, with docs and a relational database.

Cons

The interface can be difficult, copying documents can be annoying.

Pros

The flexible assets and related items have benefitted the company I work for throughout the years. The many integration options are great, too. We have cycled through many applications throughout the years, but not for our documentation! It serves its purpose well - why change?

Cons

One downside we have noticed is that the global search sometimes does not function as expected. It has often not found a child folder in the folder hierarchy when searching by keyword when the word is in the document's title. Additionally, I would love to see a more robust integration between ConnectWise Manage and IT Glue, where the knowledge base in Manage syncs with IT Glue Documents. This is not so much a downside as it is a wishlist item.

Pros

The software is almost 100% customizable, It has made it so much easier for us to find configuration items, credentials, etc for all of our clients.

Cons

The ONLY thing that I have found so far that I do not like about the software was the new facelift it had for the client list. I prefer the clustered list with images instead of just the list of clients.

The IT mobile app needs to be improved. It lacks a lot of needed features.

Cons

Sorting is a bit of a nightmare and there's items that should be basic in there. The MyGlue aspect is a bit of a nightmare.

Secure passwords, domains, email use, vendors, documents, there is just so much you can add and do on this site.

Pros

Every single thing, it is absolutely amazing and easy to use. If you have a lot of clients you can add them by business and add details for them

Cons

Sometimes its a little slow to load pages but other than that i have no complains on using this site.

Pros

Honestly, IT Glue is a brilliant all in one tool especially for IT admins. Storing documentation, assets, configurations, passwords, contacts, information and everything inbetween - it's so much better than having a network drive or sharepoint setup!

Cons

I can't really give something that I dislike about the software, other than the fact that I would like a 'remember me' or 'remember this ip' option so I don't need to log in with MFA everyday!

All my tech's are now on the same page... (when they use it)... The hardest part is getting the team to adopt it and buy-in...

Pros

It really does what they claim... gives every MSP a place to document their network configurations for each and every client so that any half decent tech can troubleshoot any network...

Cons

The way it ties some configurations together is slick, but requires more work/thought process than the average tech is willing to put into it... Often her, "I never knew it could do that"...

Having the one location for all of your techs to know where to look for licenses and contracts, account numbers and access codes.

Pros

If you spend the time to document each of your clients then it will certainly save you and your techs time down the road especially when you need some information and you are offsite.

Cons

It's not the least thing that we like but you just need to make sure you document your client correctly and it will be time consuming. Spend the time!

Great tool, I love the search button, it does an extensive research of whatever you type in there

Pros

Great tool to keep IT records, we do track our customer's IT configurations, license information and it integrates with another CRM, the expiration dates entered in IT glue allow that CRM to create tickets for license renewals, keeping everything under control

Cons

Some times when you modify the expiration date on an asset, the system triggers some kind of rule and submits a new ticket. So if you are marking a ticket as completed because the initial expiration date was incorrect and you update the date, the system will create a new ticket.

We enjoyed using ITGlue and it fit our structure until it was purchased by another company. Customer service declined from there and billing got complicated and mixed up. Overall a good product.

Pros

It was easy to add passwords, and use them without needing to be on the webpage with the widget.

Cons

The interface wasn't the easiest to use. Sometimes I needed to click through a few pages to get to my passwords. Easy to get lost if you are just a user.

Pros

It's accessible from anywhere. Password and information are secure. It has the option to copy passwords without actually viewing them (eg if you're in the public and don't want to reveal your password). It can be integrated with other apps such as O365 (useful for linking user information, see how many unused licenses there are etc).

Cons

The only thing I'd like to see is the ability to set a pop up notification or reminder. You can set tasks but you have to go in to view them, there isn't an option to set reminder notifications / pop ups as yet.

Pros

Storage of relevant documentation organized by customer. Integrates with ConnectWise and ScalePad.

Cons

Search function can be confusing. Filtering out "old" configurations is not intuitive. Integration with ScalePad requires tweaking when there are updates to either one and there is no feedback or how-to document.
