Once you get the hang of it and learn what you need it to do, it handles everything it needs too. That being said, getting up to speed with it was a bumpy ride

Pros

It is pretty full featured, it takes care of anything you need it to. From PMs to job plans to spare part management, it can handle what we need it to for our plant.

Cons

It has a steep learning curve, it's hard to learn. It can also create duplicate entries easily

In the projects I worked for telecommunications operators, I saw that Maximo is being used extensively. Integrating it with an NMS (like TeMIP) should be the first thing to do. Then plans should be made for some rule-based automation for the best FTE realization.

Pros

I was mostly responsible of designing automation projects around Maximo ticketng system. From a technical standpoint, I was not only very happy with the features but also ith the documentation and ease of integration with other systems.

Cons

As it is the case for many enterprise solutions, it might be a it overwhelming to understand how it works. I would hardly call that a negative point to be honest.

Overall my experience with Maximo has been poor and I found it difficult to use and teach,

Pros

There are a lot of functionalities built into Maximo and it can be versatile however it was not something I enjoyed learning.

Cons

There is an endless list of things I would improve about Maximo but to name a few: having auto-save on your pages, quicker load time, easier and more intuitive learning process.

This program helps us track maintenance tool time. The program helps with assignments to other users.

Pros

We use this database to enter maintenance requests, POs and action items. This database make my job so mush simpler.

Cons

The only issue I have is that you can’t save when you have a issue, this causes me to have to go back and fix issue then start over on PO or work order.

Overall a decent initial experience but not really used anymore at my company due to it not being versatile and incorporating other aspects of the business.

Pros

I think it initially was a good platform to route work orders for our FMs.

Cons

It seems like the platform is very single use oriented and hasn't adapted well or incorporated other functions. As a result, our company has switched to Archibus as our one stop shop.

Pros

This software is a great way to keep track of the assets for your project which is what I use it for but other colleagues also use it to track changes and repairs made as well so a great all round tool

Cons

It can be a bit slow at times and I feel they could update it more often but it still does the job

Pros

I love the ease of being able to access thousands of pieces of equipment all in one place. And everything that each piece of equipment can house. Frequencies, due dates, man hours, etc...

Cons

I love everything about the software, haven't had any issues that I can think of

Cons

After update you cant print from a list view. each work order has to be printed one by one. annoying pop ups after each one is printed. Attachments have to be in a pdf. a lot are in excel and word. causing extra steps View is not good. have to scroll around a lot of wasted information to see what you want Reports are time comsuming. have to do a bunch of steps to make it usable Saved queries are harder to find and cause more steps to locate. Just some of the issues that could make this better and save time.

Pros

Provide cutting-edge solutions which cover 90% of our problems. There are so many power features and functionalities and reporting capabilities to meet all needs.

Cons

Require extensive training and experience. Development team and license fees are required to be considered heavily.

Pros

\- Excellent integration capabilities - Excellent framework - Good config tools - Good integration with partner products e.g. DataSplice, Akwire

Cons

The technical documentation needs to be up-to-date. Querying capabilities need to be improved. The mobile platform needs to be given free (for limited number of users) for marketing purpose. The scheduler product needs a great amount of improvements (both from technogy and feature wise)
