Pros

  • I was very thankful for all of the online help tips and especially appreciated all of the technical support and encouragement I received from Ryan.

  • He was fantastic!!! Once the initial set up was complete and the raffle launched, I found it very easy to frequently check the status of sales using the software.

  • Awesome product and the Funding Change staff are very supportive and accommodating.

  • Friendly staff, Easy to use software, Website and interface was easy to customize, outstanding support.

Cons

  • Had to use a different program to set up my banner picture. It appears that I rec'd a lot of spam form that prgm later.

  • Only cc are accepted - no paypal or debit. The dashboard was a bit confusing to someone that doesn't have a background in tech.

  • There are many functionalities that are difficult to navigate and learn. There is a steep learning curve for new users and anyone who joins our team.

  • A 15% is to high in my opinion; I understand they have to make money and it's a business for them but I was shocked to see their cut was so high.

"User Friendly"

Overall: online raffles for our members! ease of delivery! support from FC team!

Pros: The dashboard view allows for quick access to all raffles in our account. The Stats for each raffle are tracked in real time and easy to find. The Leader Board for each raffle is tracked in real time and easy to find. Sharing the raffle link is easy to do with teh Social Media Buttons on the website. Competitive Sales are easy to implement and track in the site. Rules and licencing info is kept in the system and easy to reference. Performing draws is quick and easy and accurate. Reports are readily available for download.

Cons: The functions and tools require many hours of learning and using before one can feel comfortable in the system. There are many functionalities that are difficult to navigate and learn. There is a steep learning curve for new users and anyone who joins our team. There is no text xhat option for quick and simple answers from FC or Capterra - it would be handy to have that function as it allows less time waiting on email responses.

"Our experience with Funding Change was positive all around!"

Overall: The online raffle raised a substantial amount of money for our school and was easy to use.

Pros: I am not experienced at all with setting up an online raffle, but I found the Funding Change software extremely user friendly. I was very thankful for all of the online help tips and especially appreciated all of the technical support and encouragement I received from Ryan. He responded to my many questions and concerns quickly and was able to provide all of the answers and support I needed. He was fantastic!!! Once the initial set up was complete and the raffle launched, I found it very easy to frequently check the status of sales using the software. I also heard from others that the online ticket purchase process was very easy and smooth as well. Overall, our experience was great and I would highly recommend Funding Change to others!

Cons: I didn't encounter problems with the software. Any difficulties I had were due to my lack of experience and technical abilities!

"I like the concept, but probably not The right fundraising platform for our organization. "

Overall: Not as much as hoped for

Pros: The customer service and personal support was probably among the best I have ever experienced in any industry. I was in contact with Nicholas at least a dozen times and received quick, competent and personal service every time. They always answered their phones or returned messages within a few minutes, and I never waited more than an hour for email responses (even outside regular business hours).

Cons: It just didn't work for our small-scale fundraiser and we couldn't get the buy-in we needed to make a profit.

"Experience has been good once working thru a few glitches"

Pros: Web based rather than server based. Fast soft ware platform once set up, and easy to use for sellers. On Line purchase abilities are nice.

Cons: Setting up multiple recurring draws for different dates is an excruciating process in today's software world. We set up 30 plus draws and our previous suppliers system took under 5 minutes to set up all. Yours takes much longer. Price point sales reports should have a between certain dates selection option ie January 1 thru March 31

"The Funding Change team was great to deal with throughout the process."

Overall: relatively easy to set-up, don't need to be technically inclined easy for the consumer to purchase tickets time saving - regarding the accounting and cost savings as there are no paper tickets or lost tickets/books from sales

Pros: That it was user friendly for the consumer to purchase tickets online. Customer service support was timely and kowledgeable

Cons: Can't recall any major issues that we had setting up or using the system. Any challenges that we had were dealt with efficiently by the FC staff.

"Awesome product and the Funding Change staff are very supportive and accommodating."

Overall: Increased our sales, therefore the 50/50 Raffle winnings were larger.

Pros: Very user friendly. Portability if the RSU allows for more area to be covered and has been a wonderful addition to our Festival.

Cons: we used Funding Change for the first time for the 2017 Morden Corn & Apple Festival, and are using it again for 2018. No cons at this time.

"We made money for our charity and it didn't take a lot of effort like paper tickets would have."

Overall: Raised money for our charity

Pros: It was easy for people to buy tickets. It was also easy to share the link with contacts and post on social media.

Cons: Only cc are accepted - no paypal or debit. The dashboard was a bit confusing to someone that doesn't have a background in tech.

"Very supportive company and keen to help you through the process. If I had a ?, they responded immed"

Pros: Easy to move around the application, Extremely easy to set up the raffle, Selecting the winner was quick and easy too.

Cons: When I was trying to update my license info, it didn't seem to save, when I went back later it was there. I think we figured out that it was probably because I hadn't used Google Chrome. Had to use a different program to set up my banner picture. It appears that I rec'd a lot of spam form that prgm later. Wish I could have used their software to edit my picture to fit. Now that I know these things, it will be simple next time

"We had a very positive experience and your support was excellent."

Overall: Great way to raise funds for our Safe Grad Committee

Pros: The screens were well laid out, easy to navigate and the software was reliable. No error messages or slowness.

Cons: That every time I logged in, I had to make more than 'one click' to get to login. You had to go throughout the 'lets' get started' and navigate to get to log in. Also, to find my raffle was not intuitive. i had to remember that I needed to go to Dashboard to get to my raffle. Or some other sequence that I remember was not intuitive.

"Being our first raffle Funding Change made a completely foreign experience very easy to navigate. "

Pros: Ease of use, you don't have to be a technical expert to navigate the site. The customer service is unparalleled! He was incredibly helpful ( and patient every step of the way).

Cons: Some customizability options are not available. Would like to see options to make the pages better reflect our brand and other platforms.

"Functionality of site was effective, customer service was not."

Pros: The actual software and functionality of the site was great, easy customer use, report processing was quick and easy.

Cons: It wasn't so much the software as it was the information provided by the sale reps in the initial discussions on how to use Funding Change, what you needed to know, how you would set it up, what the LGA would need, how quick deposits would happen, expectations, etc. Had I known more of this information, I may not have made the choices I did as it was not suitable for our budget size.

"Have had great customer support"

Overall: Our raffles reached more people.

Pros: The software is easy to use and straight forward. If something is not clear the "how to's" are very helpful" resource

Cons: I would like the option to "copy" a raffle so you don't have to enter the same information each time a new raffle begins.

"Friendly staff, easy to work with. "

Pros: I don't have to think about the back end and i didn't have to go find all the different tools in different places. It was a one stop shop.

Cons: A 15% is to high in my opinion; I understand they have to make money and it's a business for them but I was shocked to see their cut was so high. i would have been happy with 10% or less.
