I found the software to be user-friendly and its features very useful for my design projects. Although the object rotation feature could be improved, the library of pre-designed templates is really helpful for quick design projects. Pros What I like most about Easil is its large library of pre-designed templates for social media, advertising banners, and more. The templates are very diverse and easy to customize according to my needs. Additionally, the option to upload my own fonts allowed me to add a personal touch to my designs. Cons What I like least about Easil is the object rotation feature. It's a bit difficult to use, and I had to spend some time figuring it out. This can be a bit frustrating when working on projects that require a lot of object rotation. It's quick to learn, and a lot of fun to work with. Pros I love that the free version of Easil still gives you a lot of access to great resources like a variety of attractive illustrations and templates. The templates are really great. There are many that would be great for personal usage, as well as templates aimed more at brands. There's a tab on the dashboard that allows users to create a brand kit, which I think is really unique and exciting from a web-based free application. Cons The only thing I have run into is that it can be hard to select and replace text in a template at times, but that's pretty nit-picky of me! I don't think there's much to complain about. " 5.0 Overall Rating 5.0 5.0 Ease of Use 5.0 5.0 Features 5.0 5.0 Customer Service 5.0 5.0 Likelihood to Recommend 10/10 May 18, 2020 I've been using Easil for almost 3 years and it's a daily part of my visual content toolkit. I speak and train others to use visual tools and I often recommend Easil for ease of use, great features and the fact that the templates are pro-quality. I worked with the Easil team in 2017-2019 on product marketing and content marketing, but was a user before that and continue to use it on a daily basis as one of my go-to-tools. A benefit of working with the team is that I saw how committed they are to making a tool that is innovative and stable and has a great feature set. It's one of the reasons I love logging into Easil as there are always new feature surprises to enjoy! Pros Easil is a quality tool and keeps getting better. The templates are some of the best you will find on DIY visual content tools. Their team is constantly creating templates and actively add new templates to reflect new features on platforms, like Instagram Story templates for new sticker features etc. There are features in Easil that you won't find in other DIY tools at present too - like layers and advanced locking features for templates in teams. It has all of the 'usual suspect' features like resizing, image library, filters, upload own fonts and images, huge font library. PLUS a lot of different features like image-in-text, GIF maker and drop shadow that you don't always find in other tools. I particularly love the organisation features of folders and you can actually "file" your designs into folders now, so that everything is in its place. I also love the color palette generator for accessing my brand colors as well as pulling colors from images. But my favourite part of the tool is the affordability of team features - brand kit, brand locking, design approvals, accessing brand assets like images (not just fonts, colors & logos). It makes it super easy to work in teams or on brand projects. Easil has a free version which is a great way to test it out (I notice that this entry on Capterra states that Easil doesn't have a free version, but it definitely does). I would recommend Plus. It's more affordable than other similar tools and has a huge feature set for the price! Cons I would love to have a mobile app for creation on the go, but I generally work on desktop so it's not a dealbreaker for me. And to be able to download GIFs as an MP4 would be awesome in future or to work with video in future. But for now, I can easily use other tools for that. In the past, Easil has occasionally run slow when handling large files, but it's happening less and less, and is no more noticeable than any other tool I use on a web-browser these days. If anything goes wrong their team is nimble on support. The challenge will be to grow and maintain great customer support and I believe they are committed to that and continuing to listen to feature requests/feedback from users. It's easy to use, has wonderful templates if you don't want to create your designs from scratch and the customer service is second to none! Pros The ease of use and the very large selection of beautifully designed templates will have people asking you who is your graphic designer! This graphic design tool is simply NEXT LEVEL!! Gotta love how a tool can make me look like I know what I'm doing when it comes to graphic design - the templates are amazing and it's so easy to create wonderful graphics for myself and my clients. There are features that are not available on other DIY graphic design tools I've used, like the layering features and being able to lock down brand elements so they can't be changed by other team members, removing the background of images in the click of a button and the text-shadow feature - that in itself is gold. But, just as important, what is also NEXT LEVEL is their customer service and support team - seriously, if you are looking for a DIY graphic design tool this is the best out there and with three plans available there's a plan to suit everyone, whether it's for personal use, a solopreneur, small business or large enterprise. I like how simply I can create flyer and banner for any occasion from school projects to weddings it is so easy. I really like it and recommended using it. Pros As a photogrtapher, it is very easy to do repetitive editing work, but as social media needs more unique content, which easily helps me. Easil helps me to create a unique flyer invitation for a wedding birthday party and pre-wedding. Creating a pro content is just some clicks and it is done. It takes so much workes to form my shoulder and save precious time. Cons I couldn't find any problem using easil. It is perfect for me. It is very simple and as I have experienced in photo editing it takes less than 5 min to understand this application. I can even use this with my phone. The free version has very few limitations and the paid version is very affordable. I am very impressed with easil. Pros Templates are really very professional looking, so less editing is necessary to share it on social media. I love how simple it to edit and change the picture of my choices. I use gimp for editing photo and easil is just that with template and run in the browser. I can do a basic level of editing with it on the browser even on my phone which is a lifesaver. Cons Not all customizations are available in the easil free version. I guess they can make download less but give all the editing options to try.
