Pros

As a customer, I love using loyalty program and love having this app on my phone vs having to get paper cards from vendors. It works well and sometimes send me additional rewards to motivate me to visit vendors again.

Cons

sometimes if vendor doesn't log in my purchase, I won't get the credit. Would be great if this can be entered manually via receipt as well.

Not one bit happy with this company. I decided to cancel. Once I did cancel I was charged massive amounts for equipment no longer worth much.

Pros

Customer interface looked good. connectivity was fast.

Cons

The app under delivered on their promises. It was meant to be an integrate product. It partially integrated with the initial POS and did not integrate at all with the new one.

Overall, I am sure that Fivestars is a great fit for some businesses, unfortunately, that was not the case for ours, and I think that Fivestars ought to stick to the food service/restaurant industry.

Pros

In my experience, Fivestars offered a nice and friendly interface for users to continue using the platform and making the gammification process, as it were, more acessible. I appreciate that Fivestars made the point-gathering and collecting process more obtainable and ultimately more fun for users.

Cons

Unless a company is a food/restaurant-oriented business, it seems that Fivestars may not work well within your company model. The gammification/rewards system for my company, as an online marketing company, did not seem to be a good fit - the way in which the rewards were presented felt too unachievable and clunky, even though we had an excellent and competetive campaign.

### "I love this way to "earn""

I've used this as a consumer at many local businesses and love the fact that I don't get bombarded with emails, etc. In fact, the only time I'm contacted regarding Fivestars is when a vendor wants to "give" me something! Who doesn't like freebies?

Pros

This is great for consumers/customers. It's easy, NOT intrusive (you don't get tons of emails), and quick. And, it's done with your phone number!

Cons

Well, technology, eh? But, it's all good. I haven't encountered any real issues when using this. I find it to be fairly straightforward.

I have enjoyed fivestars since day one. As a client and a customer, it really helps connect with new people, and connect with the old on a whole new level. In marketing being able to connect is a really big deal. They are GENIUSES.

Pros

Five stars allows businesses to reach out to customers and bring them in easily with incentives. There has been many times where even a new customer will be rewarded just for walking in. It is easy to be on a first name basis with the customer as well building a relationship.

Cons

I really dont have anything bad to say. Fivestars is amazing.

War eigentlich von der Nutzung begeistert. Aber für so einen Aufwand habe ich keine Zeit!!!

Cons

Der Kundenservice ist unterirdisch. SumUp hat es nach 3 Wochen nicht geschafft die neue Firmenadresse zu hinterlegen. Es wurden um die 25 Emailsverschickt. Dann wurden sämtliche Unterlagen angefordert. Irgendwann kam ein Anruf man solle wieder eine Email schicken und dann hinterherrufen damit es geändert wird. Es wurde von SumUp einen neue Email Adresse verifiziert. Dann wird gesagt diese wurde nicht richtig hinterlegt?! Finde den Fehler….

We've been using FS for about 10 months now, at first some our customers complained about giving out their phone number and they refused to do so until they realized we weren't going to bombard them with info and that it was totally worth it to receive deals in addition to the point rewards. My only complaint is that the tablets haven't been very reliable for us. They constantly disconnect from the internet or stop communicating with each other and we have to troubleshoot them AT LEAST once a day. The chargers are flimsy as well. We've had to order new ones and we're going to be ordering more here soon because one of them broke again already. I do not know if we will be renewing after a year.

Pros

When it works, it is easy to use.

Cons

There are often connection errors- between device communication AND wifi connection.

I really don't like much today. When we first started with them it was awesome. Now, with all the changes (They call them upgrades), it makes it to difficult for our customers to opt-in

Customer support is awful. They always tell you want you want to hear over the phone with ZERO follow ups. They make it WAY to difficult for our customers to opt-in.

Pros

I loved that this was a simple way to rack up reward points or coupons at restaurants, cafes, etc. No need to have a membership card of any sort - just your phone number! You sign up with your phone number and just enter your phone number every time you visit. You get notified via text of any special offers too!

Cons

Not much to complain about - I do wish there was a little more to the software because it is so simple. Maybe some other ways to earn points or collect coupons.

Overall, it's a great idea but lots of room for improvement! Great for business to jump start their discount system for marketing, but not very end-user friendly.

Pros

Very easy for Business to setup. If you want to jump start a discount/point system for you customers, this is a all-in-one package. App or Discount card all ready and you just need to pay a small amount to get it started. For end user, it's easy, too. Grab a card, put in a phone number (in fact, you don't even need the point card) and you are all set.

Cons

However, some users found it confusing. As it is the same name (Fivestars) for all the business joined, many users thought the points can be used all across, which is not true. Also, the app and the web logon for end-users lack the history/logs, this give us the business some trouble when customers try to argue for missed points.

It worked pretty well for our business for about a year after we upgraded our POS and migrated our customer database in we no longer needed five stars, unfortunately. But it works

Pros

It keeps track of emails of customers and gives them automatic points based on how muchoney they spent, or how many visits, you can custom this however you want

Cons

Most POS systems already come with a customer loyalty program, and sometimes its easier to use those than five stars. If you have the extra cash for the service do it.

We are capturing and retaining our customers' information so that we can better serve and engage them.

Pros

I visited a lot of restaurants and teahouses that used Fivestars and it got me thinking about using it for the coffee shop we have. It's been an awesome tool to reward loyal customers, and keep others coming back for more great deals that we have.

Cons

I have liked Fivestars so far and I don't think I have a complaint about it. It's even good to list nearby deals for our loyal customers.

We are able to bring out our service to the public in our city and introduce them to our brand.

Pros

Helped us boost out company to reach our locale. The app is intuitive and very easy use. We don't get any complains from our users. According to our survey, a big chunk of our costumers discovered our clinic through this app.

Cons

We wish there's more variety in Fivestars Promotions. But other than that, we are satisfied with the service provided to us.

Ease of use when typing phone number and loyalty points given.

Cons

UX doesn’t flow that easy, although entering your phone number to log your purchases is easy the following prompts or design of prompts is too wordy or confusing. I am a UX designer so it was something I found as a con.

I enjoy being able to accumulate points on purchases that I was going to make anyways, so overall it's been a good experience. I've received a few discounts/free drinks already because of the app.

Pros

I enjoy how easy it is to accumulate points by simply entering your phone number when making a purchase at the counter.

Cons

I am not a huge fan of the mobile app itself. It might be because not many businesses nearby use Fivestars yet, so it seems quite lacking. The notifications were getting annoying too and the app itself seemed unnecessary so I uninstalled it a while back. I still receive text messages though so I still get occasional notifications.

Overall, my experience with Fivestars has been very good, and I have enjoyed several free and discounted items thanks to the services it provides to my favorite local eating establishments.

Pros

This program keeps track of purchases and provides incentives to visit some favorite local cafes that would otherwise struggle to compete with chain brands and their high-tech, high-budget loyalty technology and programs.

Cons

The software sends out either way too many alerts or no alerts to my phone - there's no way to choose the delivery frequency. The map has generally also been somewhat glitchy and doesn't always show all of the establishments using Fivestars.

One of the best decisions that we made at Gauchos Gourmet Market was implementing the FiveStar rewards program. Its a great tool in retaining your clientele and keep them informed of specials that you may have and also a great to communicate any event that you may have. Our clients a very much into the program and they love the discounts that they received with their purchases.

Its pretty self explanatory and easy to use.
