Pros very easy to use and most importantly, it can retrieve the account by phone, does not require the physcial card like other loyalty program Cons I cannot see how many rewards I have accumulated for each vendor. It keeps me posted on special sales at all the stores I use and tracks my purchases automatically. No punch cards or VIP cards! Cons Fivestars offers me bargains, updates and usability nationwide. Cons You physically have to go into the store to redeem credit. For example, our local coffee shop at a Five Star device at the counter, but it's not available in the drive-thru. Do not being solicited for businesses I do not frequent or even know where they are. I can’t turn those ads off. Pros I like getting it for majestic nails. Do not like notices for other companies. On the user-side, it is easy to use, tracks items for you, and sends notifications when businesses have specials or events. I appreciate the "set it and forget it" usage of this app, and find myself going to businesses that have Fivestars in order to use their coupons or to earn rewards. In other words, this type of system works for me! Cons The only minor annoyance that I have with Fivestars is that you do get automatically added to notification lists if you visit a business once. This is the dark side to the easiness of the app, and it is easy to unsubscribe or it would be a bigger issue. Realistically, customer's just want to get in and out. They don't value the menial discount enough to be bothered and we have so much traffic it's not worth it. The autopilot helps though. Customer service is very nice but it clogs up your system to have them log in and there are no resolutions oftentimes. There are other options for less money that are as effective as fivestars but now that our customer's have gotten used to it, we can't really swap for a different company as easily. Pros Love that you can use this program for multiple vendors. Each vendor allows you to choose how you would like to apply your reward points from select options (I.e. dollars off product, or BOGO, or percentage off entire purchase), or allows you to continue accumulating points towards the next tier of discounts. Cons The APP did not have any additional, useful, services that I don’t already have access to during the checkout process. The periodic reminders of active coupons make saving money at local retailers simple. Finally, This app makes it easier to connect with close to home businesses enabling me to better support our local I economy. Cons I wish the app had certified reviews by a trusted reviewer for establishments supported by the app. People rely on certified reviews to ensure quality in their purchases. For once, I did not have to keep up with paper stamp cards or such. I just needed to put in my number and it did all the work! As more places I go use this, the better it gets! Pros I really liked that ability to type in my phone number and it would automatically keep track of my rewards I had earned. I feel like I'm winner! Pros I love that the places I love to go offer rewards and all I have to do to earn them is punch my number in at the counter on the separate Fivestar machine. I really like the machine. I don't like carrying punch cards. Cons I don't like that it offers other, sometimes offers from businesses next door, that I'm not interested in. I don't like that there's a timer, because it makes me feel rushed and confused, like I have to make a decision about something, even if I don't. I don't like that it offers me another deal about another store while I'm trying to pay at a counter. They couldn't possibly make it any easier to use. Pros This is a great software to use as a rewards program. All you have to do is enter your phone number and it helps you keep track of points which in turn will earn a reward. It is super user-friendly and I have had no issues at all with it.
