Pros I like the functionality of it, how consumer-friendly it is, and how easy it simplifies my shopping process. Cons If there isn't an app to connect to your phone (to inform me how many points I have), I definitely think that would be great. I highly recommend using this for your business! Pros I have 2 tablets to use, and they both have locks for security purposes. I like how easy it is to sign people up and instantly reward them for being great customers. Cons Once is awhile there is a problem with the touch screen responding to the number key selected. It was so fast and easy and was to replace their former method of rewards which was an orange card for my wallet that I sometimes forgot to pull out and, therefore, lost out on my full benefit. With this device right there, I have never forgotten to punch in. Pros The fact that I no longer have to carry yet another card in my wallet and try to remember to get it stamped each time I order a breakfast sandwich or lunch. Cons It seems like not many venders in this area use it yet so I am only able to use it at the primary store where I signed up for it. But that's okay too because the benefit there is great for me - as in I get a free loaf of bread at 80 points or so. That's enough benefit for me without other stores around having a connection. There is one store, a consignment shop which is linked in. I'm not interested in it but, again, I'm not concerned about the issue. Maybe more relevant (to me) stores will catch on soon. Membership is free and you get some good perks from it. I would definitely recommend. Pros I really like this program. You can get savings in qlot of retailers/restaurants simply by putting in your phone number after registering. You can also earn point for every dollar you spend and get rewards. " August 9, 2019 4.0 Pros I like how easy it is to combine all the rewards from entirely different stores instead of having a bunch of little stamp cards. The concept for this tool is great! And i love its notification reminders of rewards that I have or that is coming my way if I just buy a little more from this store/restaurant! And FiveStars helped me with that. This tool is perfect for people who are just starting their business Cons Customer service is limited in English, if you cannot speak fluent English, and you tray to contact them you (and they) will have language barrier. We're very happy with the way things have gone and have been surprised at how easy it is to convince new signups. Definitely worth the money for our business. Pros Ease of use. Ease of use for customer. Cons Cost. Customers who do not "opt in" initially are difficult to get opted in in the future. The texts to draw me into the restaurant/cafe help if it's convenient. I like that I have one central location of accumulating points for several of my favorite shops. Pros I like that you only need to type in your phone number into the keypad. It's usually a very simple and quick process. I don't have to remember a stamp card or add in other identifiers for FiveStar to retrieve my account information. Cons As a customer, sometimes I feel a bit inundated with text advertisements from shops. I had to unsubscribe to a few places that I less frequented so that I wasn't getting multiple texts per day. A few too many shortcuts taken to make it a fully functional and useful app. Now, I can't tell if that is on the part of the application or the companies using it, but it is a big ol' bag of Meh for me. Pros I like that I get a notification when there is a sale occurring. Cons The information that is listed on the notification is not accessible anywhere else in the application. There is little to now information about the sales occurring. Earlier this week it notified me that there was a big sale happening, but it provided exactly no information on what the big sale was for. I had to go digging in another location to find out it was buy 5 toys and get 30% off. That information should be readily available through the app. I shouldn't have to go digging on Facebook or other media sites to find out those details. Also, it continually tells me that the sales are for Plato's Closet... only it's not. They are for Once Upon A Child. We have managed to cut some minor expenses from time to time, which always comes in handy when dealing with office supplies. Pros This software has allowed me and other co-workers to take advantage of numerous rewards and loyalty programs for hardware stores, subscription services, mailing services, etc. I like how it allows me to keep track of the rewards we have and their expiration dates. They have been taking money out of my account and will not cancel my account. I have emailed several times to close my account and they are still billing me. I have now spent nearly 20 minutes on hold waiting to cancel my account and still they have not canceled it. WARNING do not sign up. Pros group texting, i can message many Clients at a time. Cons Frustrating to use as consumer when compared to similar mobile phone apps- there's no section where I can track my points at a given vendor. If I could see the vendors with which I have stars/points, I would visit them more as I'm reminded of their existence and I'm motivated toward that freebie reward. I did find the above \[vendor-point tracking\] information after this review motivated me into googling Five Stars and using a browser to log on- but what's the point of having a mobile app if one has to jump through these hoops? The Clover app is an example I'd use as an app that promotes both favorite & new stores for the reasons listed in the first paragraph.
