Cons The cost is relatively high; only 5 connections per account unless a router is flashed with ExpressVPN firmware (a limited number of routers allow this). Router Firmware lacks some features from the original router which can only be assessed after flashing including some parental controls and control over the wifi antennas and certain gaming features. I am also able to access any website now which was problematic before because of geological cutoffs/restrictions. The most important factor to note though would be that I also never suffer from bandwidth-throttling anymore, all of this happened when I started using ExpressVPN, it is a must-have. Pros ExpressVPN works the fastest and is by far the safest way to surf anonymously online. They have worldwide, extensive coverage that consists of over 3000 servers based in 90 locations so connectivity speed is never an issue. Their service also comes with top-notch encryption for enhanced security and they are as trustworthy as they come. Cons The price is steeper than I thought. It did take a while to adjust to my system at first, like my Gmail account would not open up because it was reading a different location from what it was used to so it just straight-up denied me access altogether. I figured out a way around that dilemma but other than that, it is a great tool. It even has a safety feature that prevents connections if the VPN is down (it can be turned off), which is excellent. Many locations can also work on Netflix Cons You need to install a windows version. You can't JUST install the browser extension. So if you are like us and use multiple browsers with different locations, that can be done but is a bit of a hassle. Would have preferred if we could just use the extensions. It was a one-click process which makes it easy when you are trying to have a quick set-up. Cons I wish there were more visuals in the interface as I like to see the product working in real time. I really appreciate their no logs policy and how easy it is to install and use. Pros The amount of locations you can run your signal to. The list of servers you can connect to around the world is exaustive, and they are one of the few VPN's that only use RAM to store information, so as soon as the server reboots for upgrades and anything, it all gets wiped. It allows us to access many websites without geo-location restrictions or exposing our data. Unlike some competitors I have used, ExpressVPN supports high website loading speed and does not lag. It cuts connections when the server has an issue so you cannot expose your actual location to the site or app you are using. I feel that everything about ExpressVPN is fair and positive but the price is not (at least for small companies). Pros I like ExpressVPN because I can use it to stream content, download large files, or access various sites without experiencing buffering or lag. Other similar tools I used before could not match the speed and I had to keep changing the access server to try and improve the loading speed. It provides more than 150 real, working locations to choose from. They also claim that they don't access or keep personal data guaranteeing privacy and security. Cons I feel that ExpressVPN is expensive and small companies might avoid it for that reason. Some servers are not always available but there is always alternatives to choose from. You might need to fiddle with cookies settings or use different browsers sometimes if you want to overcome some blocking but It works fine at the end of the day. Pros The simplicity of the interface and setting it up on my phone and computer was amazing. No matter if Mac or Windows or Android phone. This worked very well. Even while traveling to China (being famous for blocking pretty much everything from the free internet) I managed to get a decent connection speed to use make video calls and use services, which would have been normally blocked. Using it in Europe - some countries tend to block some sites and pages - so this makes them accessible with a breeze. Cons The subscription is not simple to cancel. You really need to concentrate on the website and where to click. Sometimes connecting ot really far locations like Bangladesh was so slow that it rendered the connection unusable. Stick with Express, don't waste your time on any other VPN that could expose your data. Pros I 100% cannot recommend this software more. I use it daily, it protects my network for anything I'm trying to do. Super easy to setup, doesn't straddle bandwidth, they delete all the meta data, and I've never once gotten any privacy notice while using this software . It's also one of the cheapest companies out there for what you get, pretty much just hit the On/off button and it does the rest. Never needed to contact support, but they were quick in helping me when I needed assistance. Cons It doesn't get through some of the video networks like Hulu or netflix if you are trying to access content from outside the country or to access content from other counties. The best thing about is that once I got ExpressVPN I was able to have it on my phone and laptop which was nice to be able to use on both screens. It's very easy to use. I love user friendly software since I don't have tech knowledge. Anyone can use this and I think everyone should look into getting ExpressVPN for many reasons but number one is for your own personal safety.
