We can book flights, hotels, and car rentals, and use corporate credit cards, both virtual and physical. The platform also allows us to create detailed expense reports tailored to our needs. Pros TravelBank provides a comprehensive platform combining travel booking, budget oversight, and expense reporting. It makes searching for flights and modifying flights also super easy. The customer service support is always available and quick to respond for assistance if any modifications are required. Cons Nothing in particular but I do wish that the reporting features could be more robust. It’s probably the best travel/procurement option that I’ve experienced in my 24 years. Pros I really enjoyed the functionality for booking your flights, consistent notifications of changes to travel plans, and the support provided by our side official. Cons The approval for Perdiem, and other cost, could be complicated within our system. There is a variance of Waze you can select which category to meet your needs. That can become confusing for someone just utilizing the system. Also, on the home screen, when selecting which category to utilize, Please make the reimbursement items horizontal rather than vertical. I feel this company is growing and making continual improvements. Pros The mobile app makes uploading receipts a breeze…..open app, snap pic, go. For the 50 - 60 users in the field during the busy season this time saving app benefits both the user and management. Within the software, customization allowed for company specific coding which then produced the required report needed for import into the company’s accounting program. Cons The lack of automatic report integration into Quickbooks, via the Right Networks Remote Desktop, makes importing TB reports cumbersome. On line customer service needs improvement. 24/7 chat would be beneficial over an 8-5 Monday thru Friday service. Giving an automated chat response of ‘we’ll respond within a couple of hours’ does not bode well when time is critical. Second the ability to sync my credit card to the software, and third, I don't travel often but I do like the ability to be able to do all purchase and planning via this software. Creating the reports, adding expenses, etc. is a little tricky, but I'm sure I'll get better at it as I use it more. I formerly used an Oracle product at my last company and this way easier to use. Pros upload photo receipt option is so easy. Also great that emailed receipts auto populate Cons expenses vs. reports and vice versa, adding one to the other, making sure you have the right named report, etc. is a little clunky. My mind is on getting the materials ready for the trip, not booking the trip itself. TravelBank always makes it easy and customer service helps me find the best options for where I'm going. What's more: they have always helped with trip changes and at the last minute. I'm so happy with TravelBank. Cons Sometimes I can see hotels and flights on Google that don't appear in search results for TravelBank. I have to check with a service agent to double check they are indeed not available. It's almost mistake proof for entry which benefits the employees getting correct information, so they get reimbursed quickly. Pros Guides you through everything very easily for submitting . Everything you need is easily accessed and one page Cons I thought it was easy access and very user friendly. Don't know really what I would change.? The best part is that you can pull it up on the laptop and finish anything you started on your phone. The Customer service is impeccable. I don't know how you maintain that level of service with a free app. This is a great app and making it free to use, is wonderful. The developer has done a marvelous job. Cons Honestly there are no Cons considering its free. I would though, definitely suggest some wishful items that can probably make this app extraordinary. 1. Have OCR recognition to catch receipts details. 2. Give user a full access to change anything in their profile, like Company name, company setup and other items. 3. Allow to change/add logo for the reports, with ability to extract as CSV file. Pros The online platform is very simple and straightforward; integration with company credit card is seamless; customer service is lightning fast! Cons Lacking in high level admin functions - managing multiple traveler profiles: i.e. adding in multiple frequent traveler programs simultaneously and to the same contact etc. I have not yet seen any price breaks/negotiated lower rates for any of my travel searches.
