I know that once I submit a charge, it will seamlessly be taken care of on the back end Cons Sometimes the expense report vs individual charges gets confusing. I'll create a charge but cannot figure out how to put it in an expense report to submit it or how to submit it without using a whole report (I don't have many expenses so I am often only submitting one charge) Review Source Response from U.S. Bank March 9, 2018 Thanks for the review Niara! You can submit expenses directly from the main "Expenses" screen by tapping "Submit" in the top-right on mobile, or clicking the 3-dot menu in the top-right on desktop; this will directly generate a report named "General Expenses" and submit it to your manager, and works great if you just have a few expenses each month. To assign expenses to a report, all you have to do is create a new report first from the "Reports" section of the menu. You can then create expenses directly from the new report you've just created. Also, each time you create a new expense from the main "Expenses" screen you can choose to assign it to any open Report. It makes searching for flights and modifying flights also super easy. The customer service support is always available and quick to respond for assistance if any modifications are required. Cons Nothing in particular but I do wish that the reporting features could be more robust. Cons when it calculates the mileage for my workers it goes down to the decimal and the state will not reimburse on the decimal but whole number. we lose money as a system when this occurs also TB is pulling all my expenses from one cost center and i have clearly put in that is another Review Source TH Terry H. It’s probably the best travel/procurement option that I’ve experienced in my 24 years. Pros I really enjoyed the functionality for booking your flights, consistent notifications of changes to travel plans, and the support provided by our side official. Cons The approval for Perdiem, and other cost, could be complicated within our system. There is a variance of Waze you can select which category to meet your needs. That can become confusing for someone just utilizing the system. Also, on the home screen, when selecting which category to utilize, Please make the reimbursement items horizontal rather than vertical. I feel this company is growing and making continual improvements. Pros The mobile app makes uploading receipts a breeze…..open app, snap pic, go. For the 50 - 60 users in the field during the busy season this time saving app benefits both the user and management. Within the software, customization allowed for company specific coding which then produced the required report needed for import into the company’s accounting program. Cons The lack of automatic report integration into Quickbooks, via the Right Networks Remote Desktop, makes importing TB reports cumbersome. On line customer service needs improvement. 24/7 chat would be beneficial over an 8-5 Monday thru Friday service. Giving an automated chat response of ‘we’ll respond within a couple of hours’ does not bode well when time is critical. Second the ability to sync my credit card to the software, and third, I don't travel often but I do like the ability to be able to do all purchase and planning via this software. Creating the reports, adding expenses, etc. is a little tricky, but I'm sure I'll get better at it as I use it more. I formerly used an Oracle product at my last company and this way easier to use. Pros upload photo receipt option is so easy. Also great that emailed receipts auto populate Cons expenses vs. reports and vice versa, adding one to the other, making sure you have the right named report, etc. is a little clunky. I don't use it a lot because sometimes it's easier to go direct to the airline. But when I need to go somewhere that Southwest doesn't fly, it has all the airlines in one place along with hotels. Plus, I have a few travel challenges and human beings were wonderful to deal with.. Pros I like having a hybrid between a quick, easy, and in-expensive on-line booking experience with the hand holding of an old-fashioned travel agency. If I need to change something, I can either call or email a real person who responds quickly. It's great hybrid system for people who get sick of deal with AI chat bots. Cons It's only air and hotel so other items like rental cars are not included. And, it's not as deep as what we'd expect from a on-line booking service. Review Source KV Kinjal V. Pros I like that it is very easy to input the required information for each expense. Merchant, date, amount, category. You can add your receipt easily by dragging and dropping it in the location, or uploading the file. There is a description box, so clarifications can be made for each expense. Timely and accurate entries lead to solid decision making and thus, fast reimbursements. This is a terrific system to use and so much better than others I have used in the past. Pros It is very easy to simply photo my receipts and move on as I am traveling for my job. I love the simple way I can get a report with all the receipt photos at the end of the month. This makes it very easy to email to my office manager. Cons I wish there was a function that made it a bit easier at the end of the month for a single user. My company does not use the service system wide, so I have to put myself in as the employee and administrator. After I submit my month for approval, I have to approve it myself. Pros So much easier than our previous expense report system, where we were actually keeping paper copies of receipts. Expense report formulation is fairly straightforward and the submission / approval process is great. Cons TravelBank is glitchy. There was a total outage last week (Friday 1/20/23). There are little glitches that occur (sometimes the calendar jumps around; it's hard to click on the expense date you want). Users report other glitches from time to time.
