Pros I use TravelBank because we get Brex rewards for booking using their software. Cons I find it really frustrating to search for flights because you have to restart the whole process if you want to look at a different departure date or airline etc; and often times I try to book for other employees and if I don't have their information preloaded the fare will not be eligible by the time I press "book" and I have to restart the whole thing again. I also hate not being able to use TravelBank agents for most modifications, I might as well book directly with the airline. Pros The booking process is easy and I like the build-in approval process . Cons It is difficult to modify existing bookings, especially when real-time supported is needed when flights are cancelled. I use this software to book a flight for corporate travel, and to have that flight approved quickly by my manager. Pros I like how easy it is to book a flight and have it approved by my manager. February 11, 2019 5.0 Pros Very intuitive and straight-forward. My preferred booking method is Google Flights and this was right up there in terms of bringing the information into a streamlined UI. It makes decision-making much simpler when booking. Cons I flew Southwest, and the check-in process for Southwest is cutthroat. If you don't check in 24 hours at the dot, you get pretty lousy seating options. TravelBank didn't notify me of check-in until almost 10 minutes had passed since it opened up. This was long enough of a disparity that I got almost the very last boarding position. I set my own alarm for the return flight check-in to avoid this problem on the return flight. Check-in notification emails should go out exactly when it is time. Review Source Kristi P. April 30, 2018 5.0 Not a lot of excess to sort through when using the app. I appreciated how easy it was to navigate and select just what I needed. I also like that it aggregated Southwest Airlines when a lot of the other searches don't. Pros It was extremely easy to use. I booked my flight in just a few minutes! It was also referred to me by an organization I trust, so it made taking the leap a no-brainer. Cons I didn't like that I could only book it via the app, but they have since fixed that, so I look forward to trying the desktop version in the future. Review Source KN Keely N. You have already had to use your own money and the delay in getting reimbursed is challenging. I have had TravelBank approved and disbursed the same day if not the very next morning. Creating the reports, adding expenses, etc. is a little tricky, but I'm sure I'll get better at it as I use it more. I formerly used an Oracle product at my last company and this way easier to use. Pros upload photo receipt option is so easy. Also great that emailed receipts auto populate Cons expenses vs. reports and vice versa, adding one to the other, making sure you have the right named report, etc. is a little clunky. Takes a minute or two to add an expense and file a report. Cons I mostly expense Uber/Lyft rides - it would be nice if the receipts automatically uploaded so I wouldn't have to screenshot each one. Or some kind of partnership with Uber/Lyft so that there is an option to automatically expense a particular trip within the Uber/Lyft app while the ride is being ordered.
