Product Manager Computer Software Used the software for: 2+ years ### "An easy to use tool for UI UX designs" June 23, 2022 5.0 My overall experience with Uizard has been an incredible one; you see as a product manager, I use Uizard to create and develop UI UX designs for the apps we build; essentially creating wireframes, mockups and clickable prototypes. It also allows me to share these designs with other third parties and allow them to remotely contribute their inputs to my designs. It solves the problems of collaborative design across our remote teams. Pros Uizard is simple and easy to use, even as a non-designer. It has in-house assets and pre-prepared components one can easily access and use in all ongoing UI UX designs. It is simple and straightforward to use and its AI-powered platforms as a whole really assist you to quickly develop your best designs. Cons The pricing for me is the biggest disincentive; because unless you are paying for the Pro version which for me is a little bit pricey, you are limited to creating only three projects. Pros I love how easy it is to convert my paper wireframes to digital, the fact that I can have multiple themes for a project, and its beautiful, accessible and intuitive interface design, which makes it easier for those who are not experienced in product design not only to give their first steps in the field, but also get inspired by the wide range of features and resources it offers. However, what impresses me the most is how forthcoming the support team is when a user needs assistance. I'm sure that with time, this software would be able to excel and become the preferred choice for app developers looking for a prototyping software. Pros The simplicity is something that makes this software the most appealing to me. It seems that everything was designed from the user's POV. Cons Inability to change the orientation of the design template (from portrait to landscape) & adding people in for co-creation is confusing as editing means having to "buy" more accounts even if its free. Pros Uizard is easy to get started and used - you can import the styling from your website with a couple of clicks to keep your app consistent with your branding from the beginning. The drag and drop interface, automatic spacing and aligning make it a breeze to create screens, and linking is very easy so that you can add interactions and demo your creation for feedback from technical and non-technical colleagues. Cons Would like a feature to link different projects, and would also like a way to isolate the linking of screens to better work out where individual screens are linking to and from. Developer Information Technology and Services Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Its a half cooked product" May 18, 2022 1.0 Very very difficult and time-consuming to use, especially when we have to move components and controls around and edit the text in controls.. Pros Extremely difficult to use and If I have not already started my work on this tool, I would have dumped this tool long back. Cons Extremely difficult to edit the text inside controls. It would have made a lot more sense if the Text in content is editable in the right hand side panel, to edit just like in Wordpress Edits. The absence of implementing actions with in a same screen based on button or control interactions, rather than creating seperate screens for evey interaction, is a drawback. Option to duplicate a screen along with the interactions is not available. The template saves just the controls,but do not preserve the interactions on the controls in it. No option to save Header and Footer along with the interactions saved on the controls within them. I have an idea in my head for an app and Uizard has been an excellent in helping me clearly visualize and articulate my idea. It's also made the general ideation process very efficient. Pros The user interface design was great to work with- very intuitive. I also found the template designs very useful as this was my first experience designing an app and it really helped guide me me with what I needed. Cons I would have preferred to be able to export at least one or two slides using the free options, however their pricing structure is still very feasible. Uizard offers low barriers of entry through the sketch upload feature. There you can upload your draft and let uizard convert it into a User Interface. With the "Theme Generator", you can focus on the UX and Information architecture while the UI looks always as desired. With the opportunity to use the collaborative design feature you can rapidly develop new iterations of your design in a multidisciplinary team. Also, the use of templates (like a pre-made Login Screen) makes you much faster at the beginning to set up your design. Cons Some Artboard sizes like tablet sizes could be interesting. I'm currently looking around how I can propose the paid version as replacement to XD for projects I work on. Pros Uizard was at first quick to learn and that's the main reason I have stuck to it since. Cons I have found that it was hard to use full byte languages such as Japanese, Chinese and Korean, sometimes impossible to directly edit screen names. Reason for choosing Uizard I don't quite remember the other products as they left a very small impression on me. I chose Uizard because it was very intuitive and easy to learn. But they cannot see the fonts, sizing, etc of the components I design, which is frustrating from a communication standpoint in which I make something and they translate it without knowing exactly what I made. There are a ton of other features that I don’t use but that are very useful and helpful. It’s a great tool for someone who is not a graphic designer or UI/UX specialist. Pros Very easy to use and intuitive. Easy to share and collaborate. Cuts the development time of a new prototype. Cons Some better tooltips would be good but not absolutely necessary. May 1, 2022 2.0 Me gusta, pero debe mejorar el tema del guardado. Pros Muy intuitivo, con los recursos gráficos necesarios para hacer una maqueta de forma rápida. Puedes importar imágenes personalizadas, compartir la liga a tus clientes, señala en un clic que botones u objetos tienen interacción. En la versión gratuita si bien no te deja usar todas las plantillas de la versión profesional, no te limita en el uso de controles para que tu puedas replicar una plantilla de la versión pro "claro esta lleva mas tiempo". Te permite agrupar objetos y las plantillas free son suficientes. Cons En el ultimo mes no se si se actualizo la plataforma, pero ya no guarda los cambios que realices de forma automática, tienes que dar F5 para que actualice. Incluso llegue a perder cambios por que no tienes como guardar ya que es "Automático". Este es un punto crucial, en lo personal no me importaría la existencia de un botón de guardado. Ya que es una perdida de tiempo que hagas algo y lo quieras pre visualizar y no este actualizada la vista. I generally design for myself at the moment and am in the process of testing different ideas and creating a portfolio. Uizard has really helped me to realise that goal and is something I will continue to use. Pros The software is incredibly easy to use and has allowed me to create various designs and templates with great efficiency. It is much more visual than it would be if I were to attempt to draw my models which is a huge benefit. Being able to work collaboratively is also a big positive for the program. Cons The only thing I would like to see improved is the option to use different shapes. At present, I only see a square/rectangle shape. Interaction between screens when there is a lot of them could be improved, and also customized zoom in and out would be better than predefined. Cons The image to wireframe/design feature. Almost never translates well and I signed up for that feature, so it's disappointing. Can't seem to rename screens in the left hand nav. Cons Adding animations and transitions, plus optional overlay windows might be a good help, especially for UI designers who'd like to create an interface that almost looks like a High Fidelity Prototype. Because this software gives you the power to deign an end to end working copy of your application, that's what I like the most about this product. Cons One drawback I have noticed is that, for a completely new user it would be difficult to traverse through the software and get the understanding, if you guys promote inbuild pop-ups where a user is given information regarding each tools once he hovers it, it would be really helpful. Pros Every user can design their own application may it be an mobile app or web application. It is very user friendly and it has a lot of nice features with it. The magic tool really helps to create the UI and interface that the user wanted for uizard creates what the user imagine of their application. I also like when it automatically saves the file. Cons account logs out automatically, hard scrollbars for the design interface, few tutorials available in the web. when zooming out the screens are lost, payment methods when I wanted to export some elements in the screen (in which I don't have the capacity yet to pay).
