Pros: Adobe Acrobat Reader is a very useful and important software for my company and the work that i do regularly. It enables me to display messages and pictures in PDF arrange, a standout amongst the most utilized organizations around the world. In my work is essential to deal with PDF reports, as it is a genuinely decent organization for the introduction of writings, research, and aftereffects of every one of the site investigations we do, our directors dependably ask for data in this sort of configuration. This product changes impeccably to my pace of work, PDF documents are very minimal, don't involve much space on the pc, are simple enough to peruse, and can be secured so other individuals outside my work setting don't duplicate or take the data.

this software has the choice to add security to the records, you can hinder the duplicating of the pdf content and you can confirm the report.

Cons: One of the huge issues I have with this product is that it is exceptionally confounded to edit writings. Perhaps you can add some substance to some PDF, yet when you need to include expansive squares of content it turns out to be extremely entangled, and there are other programming that show improvement over PDF records. we can't use it for free and resizing will also be very complecated. but overall it's a good app that will help in all the way specially for a documentation specialist.

Overall: I have been using this software since i start my career and this helped my life easier when dealing with documentations, form filling, merging and resizing. i would recommend this software to all my friends as this would help them as well.

Pros: Its interface is consistent with the rest of the Adobe programs, although it is even easier to understand and use, this program not only allows you to read PDF files but also to sign, write and prints them. Among its best features is the price, since there is a completely free version that gives many elementary functions to users although if you want to perform some more complex actions may be necessary to purchase the paid version, you can even edit documents in collaboration with its latest updates, which places this program at an advantage compared to similar ones. Another notable improvement is that you can print several files at the same time, a function that undoubtedly optimizes the users' time savings.

Cons: There are few negative aspects that I have achieved in several years of using this software, the first would be its price as I consider that the amount to pay for the paid version is very high compared to other similar software, the second criticism would be that open PDF documents too large the program runs very slowly, in this case I happened to open documents of more than 800 pages, with smaller files works perfectly (free version).

Overall: For about five years I have used Adobe Reader in its free version and it really works very well, I can read the PDF documents from my phone, computer or Tablet without problems. I would like the editing option to be included in the free version, although for the most basic functions it works better than the other software, its interface is stable and easy to understand, with each update it improves its functions and has allowed me to send documents and files with good quality and professional appearance.

Pros: These days , most of the files and documents are shared in the PDF formats which is easier to share, especially via email. As an online tutor and a teacher by profession I have a lots of PDF study materials to be used on a daily basis.

The customized Zoom level option helps to view the document in the actual size preferred by the user. The customized Page number option helps to type in the page number and go directly to that particular page.

The Save to Adobe Document cloud is much more useful as it helps to save the document to a drive and enables the use to access it from any devices using the login id and password (same as Google Drive, but only PDF files can be uploaded to this cloud).

The find text option helps to directly search for that particular sentence or word we are looking for.

The high light text option helps to make a quick marking of the important points in a document.

The Add sticky note option enables the user to add a note as and when reading the document, the time and date of the note is automatically posted along with the note. User can also add replies or responses to this note as and when needed.

As a whole this software is much user friendly and hassle-free.

The learning process of using this software isn't time consuming.

Cons: 1. The trial version and full version is way too different with the options. (Covert to .doc / Edit PDF etc ) are not allowed in the trial version.

2. The price for a month is too high.

3. At times opening a large PDF file ( in my case Books with a 300 pages ) makes the software respond slower.

Overall: I would definitely recommend this to others as it makes the work easier to an extent. :)

Pros: adobe acrobat reader, just like acrobat itself, is perhaps the most reliable PDF reader. A plethora of readers are available these days and each has it's own advantagees and disadvantages as i am huge reader and always try alternatives, but with my vast experince, i tel one thing for sure, if you want to choose a reader that works smooth, fast and almost never crashes, and if you don't want want to encounter anything messy, then choose acrobat reader. you can compare it's neateness against others just like iOS was neat in comparision to older android versions. You can try opening a large book with for example foxit PDF and then the same with adobe reader, try this again and again, every time adobe reader wins. the colour accuracy is definitely appreciable too. unlike most other readers, which will open books for you and as these load, the book may seem horrible, not because the book is horrible, but the reader's rendering engine is problematic. Never faced this while using acrobat reader. and the global availability of this software makes it a definite "one and only"

Cons: the features of this reader are too few compared to some other readers for example foxit PDF.

for example, on the iOS version of Adobe reader, it lacks :

X text-reflow

X crop-mode

X text-to-speech

etc

it also displays files in an odd way if the document has non-standard width-to-length ratio. it does not correct this to fill up the screen so the document looks weird. on PC version, zoom feature will make up for this though.

finally, lack of third paty cloud support is sad.

for the paid version ,you have to pay more compared to the most famous rival ie foxit phantomPDF

Overall: the most neat and clean PDF reader that need some more features

Pros: This software makes viewing and editing PDF's a breeze if you need to send this to a client/boss for review and/or editing. This is a great tool for any non-designers unfamiliar with InDesign or whatever program you are using to create PDF's, as it allows for text edits and comments made by the viewer. Many times I would finish a project and send it to a boss who would work on final text edits just by simply using the Edit PDF Feature. The ability to change every element from a PDF to me is remarkable. If you need to make simple PDF's and don't have the time/need/want to learn any other program, Adobe Acrobat Reader is for you.

I've also used this program to make an editable PDF (Prepare Form), and while the auto fill isn't perfect, it gets pretty close and saves you valuable time. I normally skip any other programs, and go straight to this one to make an editable form.

Another one of my favorite features is the ease of printing straight from Adobe Acrobat Reader, as it has much better features in my opinion than InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Etc. It gives you the option to print multiple pages on one sheet-- something that has been unmeasurably helpful.

Cons: Using the free version compared to the Pro version is so vastly different and could be discouraging to potential customers.

If you are editing a PDF and don't have the correct fonts installed, it can get pretty frustrating rather quickly. Although, I don't believe that's any fault of the program, and it is able to recognize the font you are missing so that helps tremendously.

One of the hidden jems about this program is that it has an export PDF and convert it to almost any program you need including Microsoft Word and Powerpoint. However, unless your document is more simplistic, it will have trouble perfectly exporting for you, but I still think it's a great feature.

Overall: This program has made it easier to communicate to the clients and help them send back clear constructive feedback, which is key in any business.

Pros: Acrobat Reader has always been a software that has aroused mixed feelings among users: performance, usabilitity and capabilities. Adobe knows this and, although not in a hurry, has been implementing improvements.

In the case of Reader DC, definitely, the main improvement has been the user interface, where a nice dark gray predominates that does not strain your eyes and allows you to focus your attention on the document (at least in the latest version for Windows 7).

The overall performance of the application has also improved (loading speed and opening documents), at least in the most common and simple tasks. However, it should not surprise anyone that in handling large documents or more complex tasks, this is not noticeable.

Total integration with the Adobe Cloud system, which will allow you to have your files wherever you are and to share them with third parties.

Despite the great improvements that other similar programs have had, if security and maximum compatibility with the PDF format are important to you, Reader DC should be your first choice. The handling of digital signatures is simple and robust and workflow of documents is almost a

standard already.

Cons: You can not edit documents in the free version.

Although the cost of subscriptions has become more accessible, the advanced options are still paid (it should not surprise anyone), but each day that passes is worth paying for them.

While it is true that they have advanced with the user interface, it seems that with the usability of it not so much. Many tasks are carried out in an unintuitive way, and with the inclusion of new functionalities this problem tends to grow.

Overall: A considerable saving of money, for a limited budget.

Do not worry about operating systems and compatibility.

Files are distributed and shared easily and quickly.

In the future, adopting a more complete workflow based on PDF will be easier and more convenient.

Pros: Due to the degree of confidentiality of the information I handle at the institutional level, I require a versatile tool, Acrobat Reader DC, this very clean, simple, minimized version, gives me everything I need to access PDF documents in a quick and easy way. well organized, the technical staff of Adobe has reimbentado the tool, making some major changes to the organization of how to access the documents, has on your left when you open the tool a quick access to the most recent documents, showing if this Locally or in the cloud, we can also access documents locally or in the cloud for those more active documents.

Acrobat Reader DC has an endless number of tools, which have been organized in large icons of colors on the right side, we simply click on it and we can access the different options of this tool classification.

A security niel is very robust. I would recommend 100%

Cons: This great tool has few disadvantages, despite having well-organized tools, the user with little experience can be a little difficult to know that when opening a document is activated the option of tools at the top, and the click there you will see the large amount of available tools, which are very useful to edit a document or to add some text, as well as protect it.

It also has a mini floating toolbar in the lower part, which can disappear if we want it to be anchored in the upper part, it can be uncomfortable for some users to use this floating bar, as well as to deactivate the bar, but it depends on each user and his experience.

Pros: First off, i like being able to download the product from the manufacturer/developers site directly. This way you feel safe that you are getting the right safe product.

Secondly, it just works!!! No funny settings or anything to worry about.

Third, the size of the software is small and quick. Click, click and it is in place.

Lastly and not to be overlooked is that it is FREE! That's pretty important.

If you are making use of PDFs and just want them to open and be readable then this is what you need. (note: you can also get fancy PDF versions from Adobe that do all kinds of extra things). Even with this version you can add notes and things to the PDF and share it with others.

It even works on tablets and phones so that's convenient to have cross platform access all on the same program.

Cons: I rated customer support as 4 stars (which may be a bit silly since i have never really run into a snag with the program) but i can't rate it 100% without having tried or needed it.

There are more fancy versions of the software which you can pay for but i must admit i have not really even needed them (yet). At least they are not pushy about advertising their paid versions all the time.

Overall: It allows me to read PDFs quickly and without fuss. Easy and simple (i like simple).

We use it daily to read invoices and final artwork submitted to us.

By having the artwork PDF'd and opening it with the same software developers product that we are all seeing the same thing. That's good for everyone as otherwise we could have big disputes resulting in fights over printed or web published artwork from advertisers that's not right and the subsequent fights over money.

Pros: Acrobat Reader DC is a standard for sharing Documents with people all over the world. It is a free software everybody can download in the Internet to open PDF-Documents. It is the original and still for me the easiest way to share informations, contracts, illustrations, etc. with my team, with prospects and friends. It is easy to add comments and ideas in this documents and share it with people involved without any problems with program incompability. I love the Acrobat Reader App for my Mobile Phone and the possibility to scan documents and convert to PDF-Files with Adobe Scan.

Cons: It is very hard to find something that I do not like about this software. Especially with the possibility to get the Adobe Acrobat, with which you can create and edit PDF-Documents, for professional use with an Abo-Model, which makes it affordable not only for companies, but for individuals, where you can cancel the subscription monthly. What I wonder is why Adobe still do not have his own software like MS Word, Google Docs, etc.. I have still issues with creating writable formulars, because converting from MS Word to PDF is not hundred percent working. Anyway this critic is about Adobe Acrobat. The Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is amazing.

Overall: I work with an international team, sharing documents over the Internet on a daily basis, therefore Acrobat Reader DC and Adobe Acrobat is a MUST for us. It is an easy to use tool everybody can understand and work with immediatley. I am also wroking with Adobe Acrobat for creating and editing documents, formulars, etc.

Pros: Acrobat Reader DC is a paid version of the ubiquitous and free Acrobat reader. It is a monthly subscription, with a discount for paying annually. There are 4 sets of features that are not found in Reader: ability to create de novo pdfs, ability to lock and password protect PDFs, ability to electronically sign documents in real time, and - the one I requested Reader DC for - the ability to export pdfs into Excel and Word formats.

The export function is worth the price alone, from my perspective. It allows one to highlight a table of data in a PDF and by right-clicking export it to a spreadsheet in Excel. For the most part, the resulting table requires no editing. This is in marked contrast to trying to copy and paste from the PDF, which inevitably involves extensive re-editing and correcting. The tables can be multi-page and still work.

Cons: My biggest complaint is that I often accidentally end up in edit mode (one of the other major features of the software). Instead of highlighting something to copy, I am suddenly overtyping it. However, since I have not yet learned how to get into editing mode, this may be more user error.

I do anticipate eventually using this feature to make changes or updates in PDF documents for which the original Powerpoint or Word document is not available. (A common scenario is when a Powerpoint is too large to email to remote participants, but there are small changes after rendering the pdf.)

Overall: I needed to extract several tables of data from several journal articles for an analysis. I had done this the month before using freeware, but the format was fraught with anomalies, and I soon was wasting time writing Excel macros to fix it. Acrobat Reader DC allowed me to do a similar task in a few minutes by exporting to Excel.

Pros: Ease of use is a major factor for me and my staff. From the time the user clicks on the icon to the pulling up and management of images it is virtually a seamless and effortless task. Seldom is a software product this easy and reliable to use. In my work environment is has been and I expect it to be the industry standard as the level of user productivity achieved by the user raises the bar so high. I use it for may applications from document storage to transmission. I have never had a problem storing a quality image or with a recipient receiving a first rate image and being able to open and store or transfer it with ease.

Cons: It is difficult to find fault with this product. The only shortcoming, which may not be associated with the program itself is that certain traditional photocopy images may appear unduly dark in acrobat format necessitating a lighter than normal copy be made from a traditional photocopier, but this is only an incidental issue as overall quality and clarity of the images is exceptional and consistent.

Overall: We use this in a government setting in which transmission of both large and small volume documents of clarity and consistency are essential. It is a testament to the reliability of the product that over the course of several years since implementation of this product we have not had a single situation in which customer service was required to be contacted. I would recommend this product to any office which requires consistency and near perfect high definition images for storage and transmission.

Pros: The price is free and it's made by the people who invented PDF, so compatibility is never an issue. If you have an errant PDF with problems, Acrobat Reader is your best bet at getting it open. I like that I can digitally sign PDFs with Acrobat Reader without the need to buy the full Acrobat software. Little things like that are expected features of software like this that make using it easier.

Cons: Historically, Acrobat Reader has been slow to open. Although that issue is mostly fixed, there are still many times when Acrobat Reader doesn't open quickly. Honestly, I expect a PDF reader to open almost instantly, especially with a fast PC and an SSD. It's just not acceptable to me to know have a small program like this open quickly.

Acrobat Reader likes to be the default app that opens PDFs on the web. That is great, but the tools for zooming, panning, printing, saving, etc, are not automatically visible. You have to click on the PDF to get the toolbar to pop down from the top. It's not intuitive at all.

I really hate that you can't change the default view of the right pane when you open Acrobat. It's always open and you have to manually shut it EVERY TIME! Totally annoying and unnecessary. The Tools tab, where you can find things like Comments, Fill & Sign, React, Certificates, etc, is mostly easy to find, but not the easiest thing to use. I wish those items were available in the right pane instead of the crap that's there now.

Pros: Adobe reader, is a powerful PDF software that allows you to view and print PDF documents, another advantage is that Adobe Reader is free of charge, its size is small and it is convenient and easy to download, it can be downloaded from the page from the manufacturer what gives you greater security and confidence. It allows you to make notes in PDF documents, you can download them in portable devices so you can work your documents from anywhere, it allows you to convert files in Excel, PowerPoint, Word in PDF formats and thus protect your files, another important function is to add digital signatures, which saves you time when issuing documents that require signatures. You can expand the functions of Adobe Reader for free with Acrobat ADK

Cons: Negative points, It does not allow to combine files in the basic package. It can be somewhat cumbersome to use for new users. Some basic functions are not available in the free version, but in general terms are more advantages offered by this software, a very useful tool to use in the office allows you to send files without losing their initial format, common problem that happens when you open files in other terminals, common example is when you have a file in a certain program and move it to another terminal or PC with a portable device you can be at risk of losing the format (margins, tables, page numbers) so save them in PDF you avoid this problem.

Overall: In my company we use this program a lot to protect the formats of our files, a lot of information is sent by mail, so it is an excellent option to send information without it being able to suffer some type of distortion (moving images, changing margins, if Excel documents allow a better presentation). When we issue a budget calculated with Excel we always issue the file in PDF and for that we use Adobe Reader

Pros: While most people continue to use their browser to read and print PDFs, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC takes it to the next level.

The primary advantage to using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is its ability to edit PDF documents. You can change words, fonts, size, and even highlighting like a normal word processor would. To some degree, you have even more control with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC as you can control horizontal scaling and character spacing which is much harder to do on most word processors.

Furthermore, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC provides ways to export your PDF into other formats, Comment on PDFs, Organize them via splitting or combining different pages together, and even a form option along with a fill & sign. The extra features greatly enhance the usefulness of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

Cons: There is not a whole lot to complain about as far as PDF readers go. Sometimes, when splitting documents, it would be nice to name documents based on a field found on each page rather than a name with a prefix.

Furthermore, beginners may have a hard time finding the different tools. An option in the top left corner right next to the home button labeled "Tools" gives you all the different options to edit your PDF. Often, beginners struggle to find it as it is not an option in your normal toolbar.

As I have the paid version, I have not had to deal with the different limitations that I would run into without the subscription, but the fact that there is a cost is a disadvantage unto itself.

Overall: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is a cross-platform PDF reader that goes beyond just a reader and allows you to make essential edits, combine PDFs, split pages, and create PDF forms -- all options that are severely lacking in other PDF readers. This is an extremely useful tool that is necessary for anyone who uses PDFs extensively.

Pros: Very versatile and has a ton of features that make reading easier such as zoom and text settings. The UI is a simplistic and intuitive which makes working with the software quite useful as I am typically using multiple programs in additon to the reader program and need it to be easy to use.

I feel like it is an easy program to get into and hard to master, there are many useful features that will only come with experience using the program, but as a beginner you can do most anything you can think of.

Cons: I like to set a black background with neon green for reading text and I wish they had a feature where if the item on the text was a picture, dataset, or something similar that the color change would not affect the appearance either of those, just the text.

Overall: An easy to use and versatile eReader that made it easy for me to read my textbooks across many different platforms including desktop, laptop, phone, and tablet.

I also like the ability to be able to highlight text and change the color theme, it made reading for an extended period much easier for myself, and my eyes felt much less trained overall thanks to this feature.

I found reading pdfs and ebooks to be tedious and ineffective compared to a physical text, but after experiencing a solid reader like this has changed my preference. I now prefer ebooks over physical texts, and feel like I take more effective notes as a student!

Pros: Acrobat Reader DC is a great reader and editor for all types of documents. I've been using this for years for education and work-related business with little issue. Updates are quite frequent, and it has enough features to let me do what I need to within a short period.

Cons: The cons are quite extensive. First of all, the free and premium versions are very different, and the pro version is somewhat expensive as well. For reading, there are free solutions that are better, so it loses in that category. The software sometimes runs very poorly as well. Most of the features are quite limited, and the tools and options are extremely restricted. Unintuitive UI with little to help the user. Not user-friendly in the slightest & takes an additional couple steps to get things done which makes it difficult to edit documents in a short period. Common tools are not stored in memory, and its also hard to make favorite shortcuts for easy use. I don't think it's possible to do at all. Lots of polishing to do, even with the premium version.

Overall: With the free version, you get a good reader (albeit slow and laggy at times, even with the premium version). For editing documentation, AR is quite hard to beat. It has a long way to go before it can be the best out there but for now it still is a viable option if you can deal with its unintuitive drawbacks.

Pros: As I mentioned earlier this software has been one of the responsible for my training, mainly academic and second job, since Adobe Acrobat Reader has been my permanent source of knowledge. With a wide variety of bibliographic content that has been transparent to this program, I have had an immense range of books that have been necessary for my academic training, but also, in my work, it has allowed me to obtain material for the development of new group activities, management of elements logistics, and new group dynamics that have not only enhanced my professional career, but also that of the Foundation where I work.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is one of those software that thanks to its efficient management of intellectual and academic resources in PDF, have revolutionized the market, becoming essential and very useful.

Cons: Sometimes I have encountered the problem that when editing certain PDF texts, I can not do it directly from the software but I have to find other software on the internet to do it, however, after having managed to do this, everything went much easier for me.

Overall: A software of much catergoria that leads all the others in its field. It is essential to have this software in the software directory to use in your company. I recommend it

Pros: Easy to use. Flexible. Interactive. Secure. Enables electronic signing and verification. Makes "paperless" (or at least "paper less") practice a reality. Basically, Adobe invented the PDF, and Reader DC is the flagship product. I wouldn't be without DC - using "Adobe Reader" is too limiting. Having the full product is worth it - especially now that Adobe has adopted the subscription pricing model. There is really no excuse not to use it.

Cons: Defaults are stubborn (or I don't know how best to manage them). Even though the software does all I need it to do, it still takes too many steps to get it optimized. And I have to do this EVERY TIME. There must be an easier way to set up defaults so I am looking at the view I prefer and using the font I prefer, but there are so many options, tools, and toggles, that it is confusing. In short, the "con" of this software is its embarassment of riches when it comes to options. But that may not be a bad thing for everyone.

Overall: I realize that this review is entitled "Acrobat Reader DC" and my comments relate more to the full Acrobat DC (which is more than a reader). But the comments still mostly apply. The point is that I wouldn't want to be without a FULL copy of Acrobat DC. As a lawyer, especially, there is no substitute.

Pros: I use this program a lot in my work from two points of view: the author and the one who edits. When I write my reports it is obligatory to keep it in PDF so that mijefe can review it and make the pertinent comments and corrections. So it allows me to do a how to control changes. It is also a great viewer of files of this type, I do not feel comfortable using any other.

As the one that edits allows me that same, to be able to make comments and corrections. Now, in my work I have the possibility to use the paid version and I recommend them a lot. While there are functions like converting pdf to other files, or merging several files into one and suddenly you think good there are online programs that do this, although it is true it is more comfortable as well. I can even make hyperlinks in the file and many other things that I thought could not be done.

Cons: I think the updates can be intimidating, but it's a highly intuitive and easy-to-use program. The improvements that include in the updates seem useful to me and do not cease to amaze me. I think maybe they could do better advertising of all the tools they have, many things I had to discover for myself.

Pros: Whether you are creating your own pdf or need to take another's pdf to adjust it, you can Often times, someone sends me a pdf with errors. I don't have to waster precious time waiting on them if I can't and I can fix it myself. I always have to change docs to pdf's and it does it easily.

The other great feature is binding a bundle of documents together. A life saver with copy jobs I send out to process. Saves me a ton of money as it means just one upload rather than many so I don't get charged additional fees.

Then the flexibility of taking a pdf, using Tools and changing it to another type like an Excel. Magnificent!

Cons: It takes getting used to like what can I and can't do using things in Tools. Sometimes I'll want to Edit type come thing and can't get it lined up or I can't get it to "fix". There's a lot of trial and error. But when you get used to it, you can overcome the isues.

Overall: With my small business, I receive a lot of pdf instructions or I have docs I create that need to be pdf's. I can't do without this software. I realized this when I was so used to having it in my Corporate job then when I became my own small business, I realized I needed to get my own version of the software.

Pros: "Overall Quality" is great. A simple tool for personal and commercial/business use. I use it everyday and it never let me down. Acrobat Reader can handle large PDF files and I have never had performance issues.

"Ease of Use" is the category where Acrobat Reader shines. Acrobat Reader is very easy to handle. A user-friendly design which has a simple toolbar with the main save and navigation button/features. You can hide the unnecessary panes for more reading space.

The tools tab is awesome. You can navigate in the different tools, quickly select them and get details how to use them.

"Features & Functionality" are really good. I love that you can create editable PDF form. My customers can easily complete and sign such forms, without printing. There is build in PDF-DOCX converter that comes very useful. I love the Stamp and Sign tools.

"Value for Money" - Some of the features should come for free, however I think that it's a good value for your money.

Cons: Some of the basic features are not available in the free version.

You can't pay at once and get lifetime license as only montly subscription/license is available.

Pros: Adobe acrobat is the best document editing tool available in the market. Acrobat reader is usually used to read, edit, and create PDF files. Most of the PDF readers only allow read only mode while Adobe Acrobat offers editing mode. Users can add/ delete a page, crop a page, and create a new PDF from another file. Another good feature of Adobe Acrobat is creating PDF file from doc files. It supports pdf creator. Moreover, users can put comments, delete words, and highlights text in the PDF files using Acrobat. This software also supports forms and signature space. Users can ask for signatures in a PDF file using Adobe Acrobat. Overall, this is a very useful software for file management.

Cons: Like all the business software, Adobe Acrobat also has free and paid versions. The free version supports limited features (e.g., reading PDFs, highlighting texts, putting comments, etc.). The paid version supports more features which are useful. Other than that, there are no lagging in this software.

Overall: My overall experience with this software is very positive and I usually use Adobe Acrobat everyday in my workplace. As a software engineer, I personally recommend this product for everyday use.

Pros: When a PDF is created, the program stores every detail and part of the format within the same file including the images, the space, images and sources, this eliminates one of the obstacles to share documents since the other types of files require that the other computers have installed the same sources and with the risk of losing the format when they open in a different program, the files can be seen and used in the same way as in any computer when it opens regardless of whether it is Windows, Mac OS or mobile devices.

Cons: Locked documents, users who open the PDF file can not edit the file, the program allows users to complete forms in their files but can not change the text or format. This makes the files a bad choice to save them as drafts or to use it within a team, unless everyone has the program installed, as an alternative solution you can work on a file in another program initially and convert it to PDF later.

Overall: Adobe is most known for its highly controversial media format Flash and its extensive line of multimedia editors but one interesting piece of software that mostly works in the background is Adobe Reader this piece of software is useful for viewing PDFs and Industry standard for clean secure documents, now adobe has release the reader the Android platform and provides an option to read documents on your phone, it offers a page to page view just like it's pc counterpart, the rendering was fast but still not as smooth as I would have hoped, perhaps the most interesting option is the Reflow auction, once this option is selected, it automatically reformat the file to fit comfortably on the screen, if you are still hesitant you can still enjoy pinch to zoom capabilities in the normal page view but the new feature is handy, overall the experience is simple and basic but it does the job nicely.

Pros: I love the stylus support that Adobe now offers with even the free version of its software. Annotating notes on journal articles or student assignments has become pretty effortless.

Similarly, the universality of the software and form is a blessing when sending and receiving documents from different users on different platforms.

Cons: The sidebar UI is clunky. A lot of the options are not well labelled or don't function in quite the manner I thought they should. This is mostly a learning curve issue, in that it extends the learning curve a little further than it should for new users. But even now, when I am familiar with the software I don't like the sidebar. It'd be better with half the functions as only accessible through drop-downs.

Overall: A while back I actually dropped Adobe. I had grabbed a surface pro and they were making it hard for me to do anything other than read documents. Other readers were allowing more freedom with annotation and signing so I moved to them (foxit and co). But they never had the simplicity of Adobe.

So I was ecstatic when Adobe slowly started moving towards supporting stylus and annotation properly. I returned to the fold immediately.

For me, Adobe is the most elegant of the options available and it was a relief to pick it back up again.

Pros: I am a neuroscience graduate student so I have to read and keep track of a ton of scientific articles, and most of these articles are best read in PDF format. Adobe reader DC allows me to organize and annotate (highlight and take notes) the papers to my liking which makes it easier to come back to the main points later. I also love that I can take 'snapshots' of anything on any of the pages and just copy and paste it right into a power point presentation. Another fantastic feature that many scientific journals use is links to references, either at the end of the document or even sometimes the online hyperlink. This way you can go down any scientific wormhole you want with ease.

Cons: The only thing I don't like about this software (beggars can't be choosers I guess) is that the PDF to Microsoft Word document converter (and vice versa) is not free. There are plenty of free ways to go about doing this on the internet and the technology seems easy enough. It is just slightly inconvenient is all.

Overall: Saved me so much time making presentations for countless classes and journal club presentations. Also saved me a lot of organizational time when writing my Master's thesis.

Pros: Adobe Readers is one of the best PDF readers out there that is free to use and packet with a lots of features; such as; fill and sign; you can use Adobe Reader to fill any pdf forms with information, it makes it easy to use, there is also a signature feature to sign and also have the ability to save the filled document as well. Also, you can connect cloud storage apps such as Google Drive or OneDrive to pull up PDF docs. Moreover, Easy to navigate UI once Adobe Application loads and open on the right hand side you have many options to choose from , when opening the pdf document. I have been using Adobe reader for more than 5 + years and it makes it easier to view PDF docs, ability to fill and sign PDF forms, and save the PDF docs to online cloud storage.

Cons: I have noticed depending on the browser i use to open PDF documents via Adobe reader, it takes sometime to load the PDF if i use Mozilla or Edge, but in in chrome is loads pretty fast.

Overall: The main benefit i get using adobe reader is the ability to view any PDF documents and Filling out PDF forms that typically, filling out by hand is time consuming, but Adobe reader Fill and Sign makes the forms easier to read.

Pros: The Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is a straightforward PDF viewer. As a free software it offers basic functionality for scrolling through pdf documents, commenting on files, and highlighting important sections. The signature feature is also extremely useful when electronically signing documents.

What Acrobat Reader DC, the tool bar is easy to use and can be customized to include only the most used features. Adobe also readily notifies users when the software needs to be updated, and updates are usually quick and simple.

Cons: What is lacking though is the ability to combine PDFs, or rearrange pages within a single document. These features are reserved for the Acrobat Pro DC, which requires a monthly subscription. The ability to combine PDFs, or just generally modify a PDF, is an extremely useful tool when working with multiple PDF files. It is disappointing to see that some of these basic yet practical features are not included in the base version of Acrobat Reader DC.

Overall: Acrobat Reader DC is functional and does it's job as a PDF viewer, but lacks some useful features like combining PDFs and organizing pages, which is reserved for monthly subscriptions of the Pro version.

Pros: Working in an editorial line is a challenge that is initially manifested in the updating of contents and their revision. For this you have to have a lot of bibliographical material. Adobe Acrobat Reader is an excellent complement for me, since I can access any bibliographic material from the comfort of my pc, allowing me to review different approaches and perspectives according to the literary and intellectual orientation of different writers.

Cons: Thanks to its diverse range of texts that have been transferred to the PDF format, I can have in my control any book or author that searches easily and with a friendly format such as PDF. At the same time, Acrobat Reader develops its documents so that they can be taken anywhere thanks to its format and light weight.

Overall: When I did my university studies, I always strived to have a good collection of texts, books, essays and other bibliographical material, always looking for educational excellence. Adobe Acrobat Reader contributed greatly to this becoming a reality.

Until today, this software has contributed enormously to my intellectual training, allowing me to have first hand many texts that enriched my language, making it part of my lifestyle. Using this application is to guarantee success.

Pros: This software is definitely very helpful for my current position. It is a great format for printing documentation so that the print quality is very high and compatible with most software even our current HRIS System-Workday. Another great function is the versatility to change it to other formats such as excel, powerpoint and RTF so this allows for cross bordering formatting for other projects. It is fantastic for documents that need to be signed electronically especially for my management team since we have our team spread across the globe so this process makes it very accessible to them. The redaction function is also wonderful since we can hide PHI information on any PDF forms to protect our employee's sensitive information. The editing function is also useful if we are sent documentation from a customer or vendor that needs to be edited to our standards.

Cons: There are no downsides to this software that I can see since it is a easy to use and pick up.

Overall: It has been an instrumental tool for my workload as I am able to re-format documentation, get signed documentation, redact personal information and edit PDF's at my disposal.

Pros: Ease of use. It is hard not to know what to do. Changing pages, settings, zoom in or out, it is all in a simple interface that is icon oriented.

I love the Page Display options, it makes it easy to see pages side-by-side or continuous.

The sidebar document view provides and easy way to navigate the document and there is a variety of control options when you right click a page. In addition you can select multiple pages and apply settings to more than one page.

Cons: While Reader provides a lot.... it is very limited with regards to advanced functionality. Editing the content on a page. Making adjustments to color, fonts or print related options are almost non-existent.

A lot of third party Plugins are only available for Acrobat Professional, which is a step up in price, but it is also a step up in capabilities.

I'm not a fan of the side bar tool menu Adobe switched to a few years back, but that is an "old school" personal preference.

Overall: I have used Reader for 15+ years. It provides a solid foundation for our team that is constantly trading PDFs around. I work on a mac and I'm not a fan of the "Preview" app used by default, so Reader is a step up for sure.

Pros: If you're looking for a very standard pdf reader, then Acrobat is for you. There are practically no frills for this program, and that's reflected in the price. For a basic user who needs the capacity to view/create .pdf files, then you'll be covered here. The features, while very few, are intuitive and easy to use. Beyond that, it is a very affordable product if you don't need the fancy extras (embedding email or website addresses, copy/pasting text from a .pdf to another text document, etc.). Price is a big pro for this program.

Cons: The features and functionality are very limited. Recently, they've produced updates that allow you to create textboxes and place checkmarks, but that's about it (beyond highlighting). Unfortunately, these features are not very easy to find and even a user experienced with the program may have to do a little hunting to get what you're looking for. If you want the capability to create forms with embedded text entry fields, copy and paste letters from a .pdf file to a text editing file, or manipulate the form in any specific way, you're not going to find that with this product.

Pros: I am addicted to read books and scientific articles about enviroment, development and arts, and with Adobe Acrobat Reader I do not have any problems to download documents or buy books on the internte and just sit on my computer, tablet or smartphone and start reading what I most like. This a great app, because it is so simple to use, just open your files and you can underline, create figures to highlight and speciific topic and get an screenshot of any part of the document that generate an interest for you. You can also print a save the changes that you make in your documents in a very simple way.

Cons: The version that I have, Adobe Reader X has a little problem and that is that I cannot save the last point where I finish my read, so that means that I have to search manually where I stay in the book and continue my reading, I think that futures versions of the software can easily solve this problem.

Overall: For a person like me who use to read a lot of books an articles, this app has help to improve my knowledge, and easily learn about any topic I want, because PDF files are the most extended file types in the internet to share information between readers and professionals.

Pros: Very easy to use, straight forward. I'll be honest I probably don't even know half of the things you can use this software for, I use the very basics on this program. Fill, sign, print, send PDF's. I probably use this software 98% throughout my day though. It is crucial to my everyday duties. I love the iPad version of this program and use it everyday to put proposals together. Without it, I truly feel lost! It's the only way I know how to combine my proposals/quotes. I definitely use the iPad version much more than the desktop, it's easy to combine documents, delete certain pages out, email out to customers.

Cons: I feel like my iPad version is much more user friendly than my desktop version. I probably don't have it setup right on my desktop but I don't feel like I can do as much, such as deleting out certain pages or combining pages together. For some reason it works on my iPad, and I really just don't feel like taking the time to look into it, or have to pay for both versions. Not quite sure about all of that.

Overall: Works great, love the software on my iPad!! I use this everyday for all my quotes/proposals.

Pros: I like the editing features in this software the most. I have used other versions of Adobe pdf and they were extremely limited in their features. If you basically need a viewer, this version is not for you. However, if you need to add pages, insert files, edit existing files, add signatures, reduce scan size, then this version is for you. The process is easy and the "Search Tools" feature allows you to find anything you need, even if you aren't sure what it may be called.

Cons: I can't think of anything I don't like about this software. If I had one complaint it would be about the Adobe Creative Cloud App that houses the Reader-DC. We have had issues with the number of users allowed on to each app at the same time. We frequently have to sign out, or it signs out a user and requires users to sign back in, without the option to remember the login and password of the users.

Overall: I feel like this software saves me time, which is essentially saving me money. It allows me to complete many editing features in one application. Previous to this software, I would have to edit and make changes in Word and then convert to a pdf, now I can do it all in Reader-DC.

Pros: This new computer age has allowed this type of software to have a lot of value for the worker, researcher and planner. Among the benefits that I find in this program we can review documents in PDF format; books, forms, research instruments, legal documents among other documents of interest. And not only with the option of being able to see these documents, but also they can be elaborated, they can be protected or they can be left unlocked for the free use; can be exported to other environments such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and has the valuable tool of comments and opinions to improve the user experience

Cons: I do not have negative aspects that stand out beyond that sometimes I can not see the document online, or the printing is not as accurate as I expect it and a general criticism to some programs that is the inability to be able to observe them in other operative systems. These elements could be improved to have a more complete use of the software.

Overall: Thanks to this software developed since the end of the 20th century, and perfected since the 21st century, I have been able to see directly how each of the solutions associated with my work has improved. Being able to migrate to this program, leaving behind more incomplete ways to edit and send documents, has improved my capabilities. Added to this, it is quite easy to use and there is a lot of content on the internet configured in this format.

The Adobe systems family has hit the nail on the head by creating and perfecting Adobe Acrobat Reader, and I fully recommend this program to everyone.

Pros: Adobe Acrobat DC is one of those applications where you do not even realize how useful it is until you're stuck on a computer without it. It also now works with the Adobe cloud, which is extremely useful. I also love when my clients use the tracking changes feature in this product. Provide a simpler way to mark each item as you go and make edits in a clear and easy to understand way, i like that we can use it on a variety of devices, both PC and Mac, in articles generated from a wide variety of programs and that everything looks exactly as it was created and thought,  In addition this software is really useful to send invoices and forms of agreement for the recipient to complete and send back. The signature function is very useful.

Cons: Sometimes, when it is a large file, the combined pages are not always 100% at any time, they may not appear or, sometimes, when they are printed, they may appear distorted.

Overall: It allows you to send and share extremely professional looking files in an easy to read and manage way. It's also ideal for things like contracts and getting signatures needed for those contracts.

Pros: What I like most about this program is that it allows converting a document into a non-editable file at the time that we need to keep its properties, such as image texts or the formats of it. It is also very good since it allows certain tools to combine several files that are in that format, as well as to transform its format into another one that allows editing. As they have updated the versions, they have been adding tools to incorporate some elements if necessary, including comments, making measurements, entering texts. In many cases, saving a document, for example, that contains images in PDF format, allows you to maintain a good resolution but reduces the size of storage, facilitating the sending of e-mails, for example.

Cons: One of the disadvantages is that to be able to view this type of file, you must have the program installed, which would make it difficult to see if the user you want to send it to or if you need to open it on another computer and it is not installed, we risk not to be able to open it, since at the same time its discharge can become a bit slow. Sometimes the computer can hang up when trying to download a pdf file. Sometimes to be able to visualize a file of this type can generate problems if it is of another version.

Overall: The benefits it has given me is that it has allowed me to handle documents in a secure way, send lighter files. Configure files with special features such as adding signatures, stamps, combine or order once the file has been saved.

Pros: What I like about Acrobat Reader is how easy it is to use it, I use it daily in the office to open documents, in my spare time reading ebooks in pdf format, in bank procedures filling out forms in pdf format ...

Acrobat Reader allows you to open documents in their original format, without these being altered by the configuration of the device. No matter the platform used (Android, IOS, PC, Laptop, Tablet, mobile), using Acrobat Reader you can visualize the documents in the same way. You can highlight important paragraphs, add observations and comments.

from the academic point of view it is an excellent tool, in addition to its security configuration, it is able to block all kinds of modifications to the original document, as well as the blocking of the copy / paste function, which avoids intellectual plagiarism.

Cons: the truth is that I have nothing bad to add about Acrobat Reader, it seems an indispensable tool, very dynamic and versatile.

Overall: acrobat reader is compatibe with all the devices that we have in the office, besides it is extremely easy to configure at the moment of printing.

Pros: This software is awesome!! I love that I can scan something and save as PDF file, or receive a PDF and save to my computer then open it up on Acrobat Reader DC and fill in documents using the fill and sign feature. You can store multiple signatures in the sign feature and use it to sign documents even shrinking or expanding the signature to fit your needs. I also love that you can send documents for signature straight from this program and will arrive back to you in your email. So many options and it's extremely user friendly. I watched a few videos to make sure I got to learn all the features and now it's set as a default to open all my PDF files.

Cons: I only have one complaint and that's when you send a signature its doesn't have a great trail audit feature in case someone later disputes their signature. If its a simple signature I send this way but if I need a trail audit like for real estate documents I have to send through another program.

Overall: This program has a ridiculous amount of features, and is so simple to use for everything and you can print or save edited documents super easy.

Pros: The best feature is text editing, but you can edit the images, crop the page, add pages, delete pages, copy pages, a lot of different things. I have used the text editing function to copy text from a PDF file and paste it into another program in order to change the format of our corporate brand. I also love the option to export to an image. This is very useful when a pdf is not printed or it matters as it is in my design program. More than just a PDF platform, Adobe Acrobat DC also works as an eSignature solution (which saves a lot of time). You can send documents to recipients located anywhere in the world and put your legally binding signatures without effort. This is extremely valuable to me when I work with clients on the go.

Cons: Overall, the program has a very simple feel to it, but is actually a bit more complex than one would imagine. Once you get the hang of it, it is simple. There seems to be a learning curve, however.

Overall: Dealing with PDF files has never been so easy, and due to the great popularity of Adobe, this is just another product that they have not disappointed.

Pros: While most Web browsers have their own built in pdf viewers these days, Adobe Acrobat Reader has many more functions that are necessary for my work. As an academic researcher, I read tons of studies all of the time which I download from journals. Adobe is great because I can have multiple files open at once and easily switch through them with the tabs. Plus, I can highlight and add notes in the text (my favorite feature). Some helpful advanced features include being able to cut apart or add pdf documents together. I actually use this a lot for my own papers I write, and it saves me the trouble of having to convert them back and forth into Word documents.

Cons: I've heard Adobe has some security vulnerabilities, and it is possible that having the program installed on your computer can open you up to exploits. I'm not sure if these have been patched yet.

Overall: Great for juggling many pdf documents at once, plus lots of advanced editing features. The free version has most features available, but lucky for me my University has a licence for the advanced version so I get access to all of the extra goodies.

Pros: The adobe acrobat DC reader design is much better than adobe reader few years back.

Few features I often like is opening of pdf documents in tabs and the recent list of opened documents on launching the app which is useful for quick navigation. Also the application as such feels fast and not memory hungry unlike earlier versions which used to slow down after opening few documents.

Cons: Even after many updates the UI and settings options still look outdated, like enabling what buttons to appear in toolbar, quick access to switch to dark mode is missing. Many useful settings are hidden the context menu of preferences, I always find having to google search on how to change certain setting. Also interconversion of PDF to docs/spreadsheets is not smooth process and formatting goes bad in some cases. Too much of proprietary on documents formats, lack of good opensource alternatives is what keeping the product alive.

Overall: The default app for years to read PDF readers have been adobe acrobat, and the newer DC version is welcome improvement and adds the most needed features like cloud integrations.

Pros: This software is absolutely essential when working in an office environment. Considering I receive pdf documents multiple times a day, it is invaluable that I am able to open them as well as work within the document. Acrobat Reader DC allows me to easy add signatures to pdf documents without having to print the document, thus saving paper. It also allows me to add notes and edit text at times where available. Multiple times a day employees will come to me and request that I delete an image, add text or remove text from a pdf document. Acrobat Reader is environmentally friendly, whether it was intended that way or not, as we not longer need to print pdf documents to edit them. It is also extremely useful to be able to combine files, delete pages, add pages as well as convert files to pdf.

Cons: It can be expensive so we only have the full suite installed on two computers throughout the company.

Overall: Adobe Acrobat DC has truly allowed our company to move closer to a paperless environment through its capabilities of manipulating pdf documents.

Pros: I use adobe daily for business use. I have tried other similar applications when my use case needed something that adobe did not offer but find myself returning as adobe is constantly improving their product and not only integrating the competitors features, but improving on them. I am constantly surprised and pleased with new feature releases finding that they always meet my needs, and often surprise me with features I didn't even know I wanted.

Cons: The software can run into bug problems at times. Specifically when it comes to printing PDFs. There seems to be a recurring one that causes my pdfs to print blank. The bugs that crop up are all usually fixed just not in a timely manner that I would like. This has caused me to stray to other software suites but once fixed, always has me coming back to adobe.

Overall: The largest benefit I have gotten from this software is the ability to measure blueprints based on scale I input. This has made it much easier for estimating then printing out the pdf and using a tape measure. Its features like this that are always being added that really make this product shine.

Pros: Research is also our strength in the workplace. Every day we must consult approaches based on organic chemistry, earth sciences and geology with the need to find the best ways to approach our field projects and Acrobat Reader is an excellent solution to nourish these investigations. One of the elements that I can highlight of this software is the almost infinite amount of documents, symposiums, interviews, scientific journals, specialized bibliography and books that I can find in this platform of PDF documents and the best of this software, all bibliographic hagos are totally digtalized, having at hand an excellent collection of research necessary for the development of our activities in the field of action research.

Cons: Many times we want to convert documents into other formats and transfer them to PDF, and that is almost impossible with this software. To do this we will need other software specialized in this topic, something that seems illogical, but it is the reality that this software offers us.

Pros: If we want to make PDFs and we don't have time to learn any other program, Adobe Acrobat Reader is for us.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is very clean, simple and gives everything need to access a PDF document.

User interface does not strain our eyes and allows us to focus on what we are reading.

Adobe Acrobat Reader has endless number of tools, we can simply click on that tools and access different options.

Also we can print our document directly from Adobe Acrobat Reader.

When we are reading a huge document and we want to change the chapter, Acrobat Reader gives it separately, and we can choose any chapter we want.

And also, if we want to highlight something important in the document, Adobe Acrobat Reader allows us to do that by clicking on the highlighter tool.

Adobe Acrobat Reader not only works on computer but also works on tablet and phone.

Cons: We can't do editing in the free version.

If we are editing a PDF and we haven't installed correct fonts it can get pretty frustrating rather quickly

Overall: I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader for reading and editing PDFs. As I feel this is the best way to do both things from one place. So I recommend this for everyone who want to read and edit PDFs.

I am rating this application very high as it was always available and easy to use.

Pros: I have been using Adobe reader for years and have found it to be a very useful application. I may recive a document in PDF and want to reuse it I am able to copy the portion and add it to another document then resave the file without any issues. I love that this program gives you the ability to edit and manipulate PDFs, something that was almost impossible otherwise. The ability to combine PDFs, edit them, create them, organize them is a plus. There are many options which I didnt even know were possible. The ability to reduce PDFs or export as images is very nice. I also enjoy the scanned text option to allow searchable PDFs which is a nice feature.

Cons: I think that Adobe should implement optical character recognition which I thinkwould be helpful. The other thing is that it cannot split a pdf file which has several pages into separate pdf documents this would have been a great feature.

Overall: The benefit I get from ths software of a lot I give it a five star and would definitly recommend this tool to accomplish many things.

Pros: Theoretically free, able to handle different PDF versions, reasonable quick open, versatile printing options.

Cons: The version I review is 2019.010.20046.

1. It doesn't appear among the running applications in Win7/64

2. It can close only by Alt+F4. The image viewers usually can be closed by ESC ( which has no other function actually in the Adobe Reader ).

3. Quite big part occupied by paid tools on the right, which is usually doesn't play role. It should be configurable.

4. No shortcut for zooming. Usually + and - ( other Adobe software those are Ctrl+ and Ctrl- ).

5. Automatic update sometimes install Pro version, which refuse to make some feature like MS Word PDF conversion, etc.) I had to uninstall Pro version and install manually the free.

6. The scanned images not searchable for text. Have to use 3rd party app to convert for searchable version.

Overall: I have to use it frequently only for reading documents. Never generate or edit pages. Sometimes only need to reconstruct documents ( e.g. delete pages from multilingual user manuals ), it is also need 3rd party apps.

This software is very useful in the company not only because it allows to convert the documents whose protection is mandatory since the data that needs to be protected are of high importance, but it also intervenes in the editing process that is important when modifying aspects Relevant and can be done very quickly and evaluate the aspects to be modified or that want to improve a particular document, other advantages that the tools of editing as well as visualization are very comfortable and adapted to the needs of the user.

Cons: Until now, no relevant aspect in the use of this software, rather it has seemed very useful to me and one of the tools that I trust the most when I want to use my PDF documents.

Overall: Always and not only in my company in the majority have tools like this software because they allow not only a better job but also facilitates many aspects such as the edition of a document that for various reasons is required, as well as the typical utilities of visualization and printing, taking into consideration that its interface.

Pros: The benefits that I see from this software are the following:

-The PDF format is one of the most supported worldwide, so a PDF file can be opened on any computer, there are even PC versions that have this software pre-installed.

-Facility to have quite long documents in the comfort of a PDF format.

-A wide variety of books, legal documents, administrative documents, theory books and others, which have been made by the developers or editorial mimes.

-The files are quite light, do not take up almost space in the memory

Cons: The PDF files are quite difficult to edit since in many cases they are protected against writing, and in case, without being protected you can not edit, sometimes you can not copy these files.

Overall: Adobe Acrobat Reader is to have it everywhere. Not only at work can this software be used but in the comfort of the home, to have texts that can be read very easily on android devices, ios, tablets, laptops and pc. Pros: Adobe Acrobat reader has been active for a very long time now but people don't actually know the usefulness of this amazing software tool, with acrobat reader you can view portable document files(PDFs), you can edit existing files, you can change document type from one format to another, and do so much more, it has a very clean and simple user interface that makes it easy to use and very straightforward, what i like most about this software is the ability to group any pdf into chapters and display them at the side of your reading pane, thereby making it easy to switch from one chapter to another with a single click on the side of your screen, this software is one of the best document viewing softwares out there and a software you don't want to miss on your computer.

Cons: Well i have to admit that acrobat reader has been a very helpful and wonderful tool, but the design of the software should be more appealing than it is, although keeping things simple rocks, but the Adobe team can do better than this regarding the user interface design.

Overall: I have been using this software throughout my school life and whenever i need to read any pdf file anywhere , it has serve it's purpose for me, i personally want to thank the Adobe team for bringing such a wonderful reading tool for us, we expect more updates from them and more functionalities on the software.

Pros: It is the free PDF reader par excellence. It's too popular, it's simple and it's easy to use. It has a friendly reading presentation for PC and a mobile app. Over the years they have added details and functions and now you can add notes and comments, highlight, cross out and underline text, mark pages, search for words, take impressions of the pages, share and even add a digital signature. It is a very complete program to be a simple PDF reader and has all the seal of quality of Adobe. And the best thing is that despite being free, they update and constantly improve it.

Cons: it bothers me that during the installation and download they always offer you other programs to download, although it is enough to uncheck the check marks and that's it.

Overall: I love reading, so having Adobe Reader on all my devices to have all my favorite books on hand in my spare time is excellent, since they take away the weight of having a printed book in my bag all day, or my whole library of technical books for work.

Pros: Acrobat Reader has long been the standard for viewing PDF documents, which has led to the application being very stable and constantly updated. Since it is a free application, obtaining and installing the application is simple. There is also next to no configuration involved after deployment, which is a big plus.

Cons: Being a free application, there are some limited features that one could only get by upgrading to Acrobat Pro DC. That is not necessarily a con for the program itself, but since Acrobat Reader DC has many "buttons" for some of these advanced features, users will get prompted to sign in or purchase a plan, which can cause some confusion or frustration with users.

Overall: Adobe Acrobat Reader has long been the standard in viewing PDFs. The latest DC version has proven to be a fast and reliable program. By using Adobe's Software Distribution agreement for Acrobat Reader DC, it is quite simple for admins to deploy reader across the organization. Overall, there has been no real reason to move to an alternate application.

Pros: Adobe Acrobat Reader has been with me for many years in my training process and currently does it in my work process, leaving me only excellent impressions among which we have a widely used and recognized format that is PDF, large amounts of information that had to be carried before in many sheets, it can now be carried on a PC, Android, IOS, or tablet device, in the way, easier and simpler. In addition to this, the PDF format can be opened in any computer.

Cons: One of the most negative aspects that I see of PDF formats is that their editing is very cumbersome, you have to use special programs that can support this format

Overall: Adobe Acrobat Reader is an excellent software that simplifies and reduces considerably the resources that have to be spent to keep a company afloat; I specifically refer to the issuance of paper, classified information, legal documents, assistance formats, information filling list among other things that this program knows how to synthesize without losing its quality and the veracity of the texts made.

Pros: It is the standard and easiest software for reading PDFs. Through the years it has been modified to the point where you can work with it in user friendly ways, especially regarding security functions (like blocking the content to make it not modifiable by unauthorised parties), making and saving text selections, clipping images from a PDF to add into the clipboard, or producing useful files such as forms that can be filled out by third party users. It also has a function that allows it to read PDFs out loud, which can be useful for people with eyesight problems, or who would need to listed to it while performing other activities.

I have used this software for many years, and it has performed well at the basic level that I have needed it for, so far.

Cons: It can be difficult to change the format from PDF to any other using this particular software. Overall, I would recommend it mostly for people who need it to read and highlight, but do not expect it to perform many other functions.

Overall: It has been a useful tool, both online and offline, for reading PDF files fast and efficiently. I really like the highlight function, since it is very useful to keep the most important ideas of a document in clear sight for further reads. In general, I would really recommend it as the basic PDF reader that anyone can easily download and use.

Pros: Acrobat Reader remains the free standard choice for viewing, printing, filling out forms, and signing pdf files. The software operation is very basic and requires minimal training. Whenever I use Acrobat, I am confident that the document I am viewing is safe. Having a reliable PDF reader that can be view on computers, tablets, smartphones, etc. is a must in today's business world.

Cons: If a document is large or contains many photos, Acrobat will begin to run sluggish. It will take very long to scroll through a document or parts or parts of the document will disappear from the pdf as you scroll through. This is an issue that happens frequently with devices connected over a mobile network. We encourage our sales people to use a wifi connection when viewing PDF files because of this issue. We have also had issues with form information not saving and transferring properly. Some of the documents we are required to fill out can be lengthly and we have lost several when transferring back to the person that orignally sent us the forms.

Overall: Free PDF viewing, annotation, signature, form filling, and printing capabilities.

Pros: The simplicity yet usefulness of this program is what Adobe is all about. This specific one does not have all the features like the pro does, but since this is a free tool, it is definitely the best out there in term of viewing documents. I use Adobe Reader everyday, and I don't want to know what it's like to use another program if this one didn't exist.

Other features I appreciate are the multi tab viewer (for when I need to open like 10 documents at the same time) and the Fill & Sign (for official legal/business documents).

Cons: There are a lot of things that I wish this program would have incorporated in for the free version, but I understand that those are in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.

The only thing I would say is that they could add on the "combine files" feature with this program - it is on the paid version, but I think it is a pretty useful and basic tool that everyone should be able to use without paying.

Pros: I like its clean and neat appearance, but every coin has two sides. Underneath the clean appearance, there are many powerful tools and functions, you can easy convert from pdf to various formats, and you can crop the scanned items, rotate your reversed articles by tis automatic recognizing system, which is awesome.

Cons: Its tools are categorized and presented in graphs. In an urgent case, it will be frustrating to locate a specific tool or function among thsoe bottons. It does not provide any search for tools as well. For example, last time I want to extract some pages to one pdf after croping. I had needed to tell who comes first and whether it locates under Combine or Edits or something else. Shorcut tools and most often used tools should be in a striking location. It does have a signature insert tab...

Overall: It is overall good but compared to the competitor Foxit Reader, I hope Acrobat can do better in terms of providing the most convenient tools and functions.

Pros: What I like most about this software is how smoothly it works. I have never had an issue opening up a PDF file with this program, regardless of file size. The functions of the program are very simple and it does exactly what is says it does, it allows one to read PDFs.

Cons: There are two minor things which I do not like about this reader. One is the default view of a prticular pdf file. Oftentimes I view engineering drawings which are in a landscape orientation. However, when I rotate the view, close teh file, and reopen it on the same PC with the same Acrobat Reader DC, this rotation is not maintained. As a reader, maintaining the last saved orientation I feel should be possible without the program defaulting to the original orientation of the file.

Overall: Overall, I have had a positive expereince using this PDF reader. It is my go-to PDF reader and on account of its very basic functions, I do not have much complaint with it. It does teh job it was intended to do without issue.

Pros: Acrobat Reader DC is fantastic in that it is universal for reading PDF files, which are the most common transferable file in use today. It's reliable, easy to use, and the best part is that the basic version is free. This is especially useful because when sending pdf files to clients who could be working anywhere in the world and might have a limited understanding of technology or use different software platforms. I can easily attach a link to how to download the program, and they can view the file exactly as I see it.

Cons: The paid version of Acrobat is extremely expensive, so you are limited to converting and viewing, with a few minor edits. If a file being sent requires edits at the other end, then a different software package might be more useful.

Overall: Overall the software is one that I cannot do without as I need to be confident anyone reading the file can see it as it was created, but if you want to do major edits then it is very limited.

Pros: I am currently using the paid upgraded Acrobat Reader DC Pro, which unlocks more features and functionalities from the regular software, and I find all the functions very useful. You can edit, cut, organize files, and combine documents seamlessly. It's very fast to open, save, and export documents, which saves me time when I am multi-tasking. I definitely recommend this software if you are working with documents all the time and need easy and fast access to edit, organize, and export files.

Cons: The only thing I wish was better is having more helpful tools and "hints" to navigate the software. I had no problem Googling to troubleshoot, but for first-time users, it may be a bit confusing to use at first. Overall, the user interface is very clean and simple.

Overall: Overall, this is a very useful tool that me and my colleagues find helpful. Our company has been using this for years now and I have very little to complain about. Good job, Adobe!

Pros: it allows me to visualize all the information that is in pdf format, as well as to save files of editable formats to pdf. It is flexible in letting me underline main ideas within the document and gives me the opportunity to add a comment within the file if necessary. At work protects the document from being modified and altered, thus protecting the copyright. It is easy to understand for beginners and does not take up much space. Important is free and runs on different operating systems.

Cons: There are few limitations that I observe for this software, one is that it can lower the quality of the documents when they are printed, and when you have not done the update each time you save a document you will see the company logo on the upper left, compromising the information of the file.

Overall: It allows me to have access to all the documents in pdf format, it is easy to use either from the computer or tablet and does not generate any expense to acquire it.

Pros: Easy to use

Universal Compatibility

World wide reference for PDF reading

Feature set expanded in the free version

Edit options for highlights, screen shots. etc.

options for higher resolutions crops

can be integrated in office, web browsers and defaul system app

Cons: Slower with any new iteration

Most features need a cloud account, there is where the free world ends

Incompatibility issues with certain type of digital certificates, fonts and signatures

web browser extension in chrome can be silly some times. Does not respond to click

be aware by downloading, they always want to add 3rd party software with the download.

Overall: Adobe reader has been my PDF reader since I remember. Tried alternatives solutions, the own reader app in Windows 8 and the Draw in Windows 10, using the web browsers to open PDFs but always have returned to Adobe for specific needs to make some changes or edit in the PDF. Not sure if those features are not available in others, or they are not as user friendly or to use as in Adobe.

Pros: Acrobat files are always highly portable and easy to share. The new Reader DC package includes all of the basic features that you'll need to create and read PDFs, and is surprisingly robust given that it is entirely free. Users utilizing this version will have no problem opening files built with paid version of Acrobat.

Cons: There really aren't many drawbacks considering that this is free software. We often send the link along with PDF files to download to clients who we aren't sure have the software installed, but the one drawback is the automatic "checkbox" download of McAfee software with Acrobat.

Overall: Acrobat allows us to interface with all of our customers who are not part of large institutions with paid versions of Acrobat and still utilize PDFs, which are our preferred electronic file type. We can still secure all of our files as needed, and even create form fields, and all anyone needs is the free version of Acrobat to access those files and interact with those files. It's incredible.

Pros: It is possible to complement forms, fill and modify texts quickly, allows me to view, edit, sign, read, and work with PDF files in an easy and uncomplicated way, Acrobat Reader DC works very well with the main operating systems and we can access to our archives in a simple way, by logging in with our free Adobe Document Cloud account, or by connecting to any of our personal file hosting accounts online.

Cons: I do not like that so far I have not managed to open more than one file at a time, it seems that a conflict is created in the pogra, ma for that reason and I would like to improve the night mode to make it more pleasing to the eye.

Overall: Acrobar Reader DC is extremely useful and necessary for my daily business, it has been very useful for me, it allows me to view, edit, convert, send and sign PDF documents, so I use it in my work many times and I also use it in my life personal, because I am always reading books and information in PDF and that in turn I share with my contacts.

Pros: Adobe created the PDF file format, so they basically write the rule book. If you're going to use a PDF program, I would probably just stick with Adobe. A great feature of the program is being able to add and edit text to a PDF, using the original document's font. Basically acrobat analyzes the text and constructs a facsimile of the font. Even if the font is not installed on your computer, you can still use it.

Cons: The major downside is that it can be kind of pricey. If you already have a Creative Cloud subscription, this program might be included in your plan. However, if it's not, then it's just another monthly fee you have to worry about. Also, if you don't need all of the capabilities that the program provides, then it might be cheaper to just go with an alternate reader. But, if you need to do some intense editing or create forms that can be signed, then you might just have to bite the bullet.

Pros: 1. It's simple and best for handling PDF file like i can take printout of a PDF without loosing the actual format and alignment unlike other editor or reader.

2. It 's built in spelling check.

3. Every Platform Support Mobile, PC and online.

4. Tons of feature like Edit PDF, Export PDF, Create PDF and Optimize PDF.

5. Another feature is Read Out loud that is really fun sometimes.

Cons: 1. Most of the features i mentioned above are paid, yeah but Price is not that much high.

2. The fact that they should provide some more feature to it's free version so that user can see it's taste.

3. Reader android app is of 19 MB, I think they should reduce it's size as there is less space in my phone.

Overall: Creating and Editing and Optimizing PDF is the first real business problem I am solving with it.

It's really nice to carry stuffs in it's PDF version so that i can take printout of it without loosing the actual format and alignment.

Pros: I work in broadcast buying, and we are often sent documents from stations that then need to be forwarded to clients. For instance, a station will send me the times that a particular client's spots are airing, and the client will want to see them as well. However, sometimes the stations will send the times along with an unnecessary amount of information that we don't want to bother the client with. In the past, we used to have to take the PDFs and print them, get rid of the unnecessary information, scan it back into the system and then send to the client.

Now that I have this software, I have the ability to convert and edit the PDF with the touch of a button. This is a much better use of my time, and takes a lot of the aggravation out of having to edit the PDFs of multiple stations and markets.

Cons: So far, I have not had any issues with this software at all. Sometimes if opening/editing a large PDF it takes longer to render than I would like, but it is certainly a manageable and acceptable amount of time.

Pros: PDF management tools are unparalleled, with options to create, export, merge or reorder. I'm quite satisfied with the document cloud. Often, my laptop had problems dealing with all the loaded documents, although I must say that I like to work on multiple documents at the same time, which should not be the general case. Above all we use this service to digitize important documents and until now it worked well. Powerful mobile applications make it easy for customers and employees alike to take the following steps, anytime, anywhere ... in general ACROBAT DC has excellent features at an appropriate price.

Cons: At the beginning it is quite complex to use this product properly and I do not like that the product has flaws when working with heavy documents ... I think it has to improve in that aspect.

Overall: This product brought great good operational and economic benefits because Cloud Document services ensure that users can access their documents even when they are away from their main work ... I consider it useful and necessary for the company thanks to has a very effective platform to work in the cloud.

Pros: The reading of the files is really fast, even when they are very heavy PDF files the software allows you to open them very fast, has very extensive options to manipulate the files, edit, share, store in the cloud, the most outstanding options are to be able to Protecting your PDF files and signing them in that way in the design and project work area are very valuable and important options

Cons: The interface has always seemed very basic and outdated, there are options that should be improved within the parameters of editing, combining and organizing files to get the most out of tasks that are very useful when you have many files.

Overall: Absolutely all the projects carried out in the design department go through PDF formats, their use and implementation are essential in our work area, practically the implement every day and is a platform that in my opinion meets the minimum requirements to manage and edit all the files that we need to present in each project.

This software is used as a default document type in order to ensure all parties will have access.

Pros: I love the new Fill & Sign function that is available with the free download as it makes documents a fillable form. This is important in that is keeps documents looking crisp and has eliminated the need to print forms, fill them out manually, and re-scan them to be digital again which is a big saver of paper. I love that it is an easy and free download. I only send documents in PDF's along with a link to the download to avoid recipients saying they cannot open the file or the document has lost it's format.

Cons: What I like least about the free download version of Adobe DC Reader is that sometimes certain documents disable the Copy and Past function which makes pulling information from a PDF sometime difficult.

Overall: This product eliminates many instances where printing may have been necessary. It also ensure that company wide documents do not lose their formatting when being sent and transferred from one computer to another.

Pros: I am able to convert all types of documents (word, docx, etc) into PDF's - then if needed, edit them still and share with my team. I use adobe illustrator a lot in my job so having everything saved as a PDF is a must for me. I love that you can re-arrange the pages of a PDF, the "find & replace" tool is so valuable! When we change the name of product I can easily change it throughout the document without having to read it over manually and find each one.

Cons: I don't like that it's subscription-based now. Over time you pay a lot to use it, which I'm sure is why they do it but on the pro side, at least the software is always being updated without having to buy the updated version. I don't like the feature to move text - it doesn't work great to select text and move to another page. I end up having to open it in illustrator to do that.

Overall: Time savings, ease of use within multiple other programs.

Cons: If you want to edit PDF and you dont have correct font so its very frustrating to edit pdf. if software automatically recognize the font then its good or time consuming for editing. and last subscription price is little bit high.

Pros: - FREE

- Extremely easy to navigate

- Very comfortable and appealing user interface

- Amazingly versatile ("can open and interact with all types of PDF content")

Cons: There have been zero negative aspects discovered by me, so far.

Overall: Adobe is, of course, a household name for good reason. And once again, their PDF reader software, Acrobat Reader DC (short for "document cloud," of course) takes the proverbial cake. Not only is the UI very light and attractive, the app is so simple to utilize, and it is extremely versatile. Adobe's claim is that it is "the only" PDF viewer that is able to open and interact with "all types" of PDF content is most likely accurate and will remain uncontested (although I personally have not tested ALL others and therefore cannot corroborate the claim exclusively, but have no doubt about its veracity). This software allows users to work with virtually any PDF type of content, including multimedia material, forms, etc. And because it is cloud connected, it makes saving, sharing, accessing, tracking, etc. a real breeze. Plus, it empowers collaboration to an even higher level than what we used to have to settle for! For example, sharing a document needing signatures, or on which you would like to solicit notations from colleagues, is simple and painless. It also works tremendously well on both desktop and mobile devices, and offers, and even though Acrobat Reader DC is the free version, it doesn't skimp on what it offers, like tracking and visibility tools that are lacking in other similar apps. Plus, it doesn't limit your creativity. You can expand beyond the free version and subscribe to an entire suite of additional Adobe products that play seamlessly and well with it.

Pros: I love that I can take an existing document, scan it or save it, and then edit it as I need. I can completely change a form without having to start from scratch on a blank document. There are quite a few editing options for forms like making certain fields mandatory to fill out that I love.

Cons: Some functionality just stops dead. It's almost like you get to a point that you want to change or add something and the software just says NO. There are a lot of options that can be a bit overwhelming and some of the updates have made some previous functionality nonexistent. For example, if you have to sign a form and email it, you MUST save it first whereas before you could sign and send without saving.

Overall: Overall, I have been pleased with the software. There are a few things about it that I am not entirely thrilled with but that is something you will encounter with anything. The software is pretty easy to use and I have only had to consult the internet once to figure out how to do something. Otherwise it has been pretty easy to figure things out by simple trial and error (without feeling like throwing the computer out a window).

Pros: I get to use adobe acrobat reader for documents that was sent via the company's internal email. Majority for Sharing new learning materials or updates and even documentation templates. which is a very important flat form for an operation that needs constant updates. My work load is towards the leasing industry, our team handles multiple property management companies, and updates comes in almost everyday.

It can easily access the document without having to save it, but you have the option to do so. Well this eliminates file clutter, specially for a read only document against files that you will have to use over and over again.

Cons: In some cases the system will uninstall itself or will not load even if you're still seeing there. It may be an issue with our i.t. team but it happens. But it can easily be solves remotely. So trouble shooting is not an issue.

Pros: This software is excellent for sharing files and ensuring that they have not been modified, on the other hand it is a global standard and this makes it possible for anyone to read the document by installing a minimum of software requirements

Cons: In my personal experience it seems to me that the important functionalities of the software are not installed with the free versions of the product so you have to invest a little more than you think to be able to use the important improvements of the product, on the other hand it has been quite tedious the fact that every week a part and/or version of the software comes out and the operating system constantly asks for updates.

Overall: In general my experience with Acrobat Reader has been satisfactory although I have needed to download functionalities and patches apart from the version provided by the company or the free version, it also seems to me that it is a bit heavy for the current operating systems.

Cons: I dont have much against the software however; You cannot enjoy using some features such as editing without the paid version which is a bit pricy for students .

4. Share facility is awesome , a reader can share his pdf files to anyone through connected outlook or webmail.

5. User can print the same file , by just selecting the print option.

Cons: 1. It should add a word click open dictionary option that means when a user needs to know meaning of any word he just have to double click on that word and a popup should appear with word meaning at least.

Pros: Acrobat Reader DC makes the life easy, it's the easiest way to view and edit PDFs. Super intuitive and all the feature are placed in way that anyone could easily comprehend the software and start working without any training or learning about the software. The most interesting feature which makes it superior from other products is that ARDC allows the users to add hyperlinks, viewers can easy access the information user wants to provide through hyperlinks. And on top of all, it's free, no subscription cost.

Cons: It takes time in opening, and a small program like this should respond instantly. Another feature i would like to have in free version: PFD to MS word converter. If this can be added in free version, I would not have to go to other online website to get it done.

Pros: Opening and quick reading of large files and weight, correct reading of all the layers available in the file I have really been satisfied with the functions offered by the product, it is very useful to be able to sort many files and concentrate them all in one in an orderly way and easy.

Cons: I have had some mistakes when there are many typographies in the files, they are cut off or with some error that does not allow them to be viewed, the technical assistance options have not been able to solve the problem and in many cases I have only been able to solve by coupling the layers in one image from another complementary software and it's something that has caused me difficulties.

Pros: We really like using this software to review projects we are working on and collect comments. Whenever we have some layouts or designs that need reviews it's super easy to send them to our stakeholder group and ask for their feedback. Acrobat collects the comments and keeps them linked to the content on the page, making it easier to know specifically what each comment is referring to. It's very simple and works great every time.

Cons: There have been some recent changes to the UI that I currently am unhappy with. I'm sure I'll adjust but some quick actions like extracting a single page from a PDF and turning it into its own PDF is now much more difficult to do.

Something else I find frustrating is creating forms in Acrobat. Sometimes we create content that needs to be customized at the customer end. For example, an advertisement that the customer can add thier contat info to. Acrobat has an auto form create feature, that hardly works, and placing the form fields by hand is tedious and really time consuming. Plus it's almost impossible to get a result that looks good.

Overall: We use Acrobat to proof iterations and get feedback. We also use it to create customizable content for our customers, in a platform they can understand.

Pros: Adobe Reader is an absolute MUST HAVE for any business. With the high number of documents being transmitted in .pdf format, this software sets the standard for conversion, viewing and distribution of documents. I have used this product for years and have never found a single program like it. It is extremely user friendly and simple to learn, for even the untrained worker who has never had to use a .pdf file.

Cons: My biggest complaint is the limited number of tools that comes available in the free version of this software. A one time fee (rather pricey) takes care of that, but for an office with limited funds (as we were during our first years) that can be an issue.

Overall: The biggest issue that Adobe Reader solves is the viewing of documents transmitted in .pdf format, as so many businesses are using nowadays. As I previously stated, this is an absolute must have for any business or home.

Pros: Usually installed by default on my PC for free this allows the common user not to worry when opening this used format, it is not burdensome, its security settings are excellent allows to use electronic methods to verify its authenticity and validity.

Cons: it is important to mention that the functionality of editing is not free, we must not let go of the fact that getting the way to edit them is complicated since the text is perceived as an image and at the level of programming systems, building them and generating them is quite tedious

Overall: In my area I have had the opportunity to work with different clients and employers where communication and important documentation about the possible activities are handled in this format that provides certain security and actions to guarantee it, for example, to prohibit printing or editing, in my opinion it is the most recommended corporate and personal format for sending electronic documents

Pros: I use Adobe almost every day. The software allows me to create documents into pdfs and extract a pdf into a different format if need be. I enjoy the app functionality as well as the ability to save my work to the cloud. This feature provides me with ease of access to my documents when I'm on the go. I appreciate that you can send important documents that need a signature all in one place and it provides you with a trackable feature. Overall I'm very well pleased.

Cons: I've been an Acrobat Reader DC customer for over 4 years, so I'm used to the functionality of the software. I do see how it can be a little overwhelming for a beginner. Perhaps they could do a better job with a simplistic tutorial feature for newbies and also provide a tutuorial feature to the long term customers when new features are introduced.

Overall: Same as above.

Pros: If you work with PDF forms a lot this program is hands down the best out there. I love being able to open a PDF and edit it easily, or create a fillable form to send to coworkers or clients. Another huge bonus is that when I scan documents onto my computer, it's so easy to take all the indvidual pictures, convert them to PDFs, combine all the individual PDFs into one document and edit the page organization. This program is absolutely amazing and easy to use!

Cons: My biggest pet peeve is that its nearly impossible to edit tables in PDFs. I have to convert the document to word, which can cause formatting issues, just to edit the table, and then convert it back to PDF. I really which this was a feature that would be fixed.

Overall: Great PDFing tool, but if you don't want to pay the high costs are don't work with PDFs extensively, there's plenty of free options out there.

Pros: Adobe Reader DC has been our go-to application for PDF viewing and annotation since it was released. We use it on our RDS servers and desktop/laptop images due to its stability and broad compatibility. The most recent versions allow us to mark up PDFs and open more secure files. The app has server our users greatly over the past 2-3 years. The software allows to deploy it via GPO or software package fairly easily. We've tried other PDF readers in the past. However, we seem to make it back to this one every time.

Cons: The Tools pane seems to never go away no matter how you hide or ask it not to show. Small price to pay though for the value the software provides.

Overall: A broad compatibility PDF viewer. The software seems to be solid and not buggy. It does not include a lot of bloat and provides cloud options for those who feel like connecting their Adobe ID.

Cons: The options offered by the application to facilitate reading are not visible while the reader captures the contents, which suggests going to a list of different icon displays that cuts off the visual contact with the text. It breaks with concentration and can interfere with reading comprehension

Overall: The image character of each page read lets you observe protected contents without possible modifications. Tran open each document remains intact regardless of the operating system with which it is opened, is not susceptible to viruses or system installation errors.

Pros: Acrobat Reader is one of the first applications i install on a new device, be it a PC or a phone. I love the features it has, especially for it Android app where i get to see the history of all open documents and can sync documents so easily with Adobe Cloud which I can continue reading on my PC. Another thing that always pulls me to this app from other similiar apps is its sheer speed in opening large pdfs. Its super fast and super reliable.

Cons: Well, this is not a con but nevertheless we cannot edit PDFs with the free version and the huge feature gap between the free and the pro can easily deter customers from opting for the paid version. Adobe could really work on the size of the App in Android. Its quite large.

Overall: Overall this is one of my most indispensible apps. I just need to have Acrobat to read all the documents and ebooks everyday.

Pros: it is a great tool for reading and reviewing PDF documents. It is easy to use, very intuitive and is compatible with Mac and Windows. Documents can be saved and shared on the Adobe Document Cloud, Microsoft OneDrive and Dropbox.

The software allows you to edit PDF documents and through the function ""fill out"" you can insert text boxes, highlight or highlight the text and incorporate the signature to the documents.

The software works smoothly and quickly, it does not slow down the system, but for particularly heavy files it could happen to have problems.

Cons: At the moment I can not find any negative aspects, but if it were possible to split the files or merge them, I would avoid using online platforms that do this every time.

Overall: I use the program every day at work and I feel great. it's really easy to use, for everyone.

Pros: 1. Viewing PDFs was never so easy - It's quick. The zooming in and out works smoothly and there are multiple viewing modes as per your convenience.

2. Adding Comments - One of the most useful feature perhaps. You can add comments, sticky notes and even highlight the important words/points.

3. Easy Collaboration - Since it is available across all platforms, sharing files is very simple and easy.

4. Scan Documents - My favorite feature about this is the ability that it gives to scan the documents and convert them into PDFs and thus, erase the need for hard copy and also lets you preserve the document for future use.

Cons: There's nothing much to dislike about it and I honestly didn't come across any con while using it. It's a great software overall!

Overall: I've been using it to read by PDFs in my smartphone, my desktop, my office laptop. This is the one that I prefer when it comes to viewing and editing PDFs. I also use it to scan the resumes and application forms that need to be saved for documentation purposes.

Pros: Adobe Reader DC makes opening and editing PDF files easy and intuitive. There are many ways you can edit your PDF document right in the software. Another handy feature is the combine PDF function, this gives you the ability to reorder and combine PDF files. There are also many ways to comment on PDF documents, which makes collaborating with others very easy. The software toolbars are very easy to navigate.

Cons: Sometimes if you have multiple PDF files open in one session it can slow down considerably. This is probably due to a lack of memory on the PC. Also opening larger PDF files can sometimes take a long time, I would say 10-15 seconds. Also each of the addons for Reader require you to purchase the software to unlock them. The free version of Reader DC only gives you the option to open and comment on a document.

Pros: Easy to use and it works on every platform. If you are a big reader like I am, you can read your favorite books on a tablet or a phone. As a great plus, when you close Adobe on a mobile device and open it later, application will automatically remember the exact place where you paused your reading, so you don't need to manually search for it.

Cons: there is not much of cons that I can mention except that when I opened a very large file it slowed the (mobile) device a lot.

Overall: Free version allows reading PDF, comments on them, searching thru PDFs and adding digital signature. Paid version (Acrobat standard DC and Acrobat pro DC) allows you to edit Pdf document, make a new one or enhance an existing pdf file. So basically if you need a reliable PDF reader just for reading or minor editing Adobe acrobat is for you. If you are in need of creating or editing you will need Acrobat standard DC and Acrobat pro DC.
