Pros: Due to the degree of confidentiality of the information I handle at the institutional level, I require a versatile tool, Acrobat Reader DC, this very clean, simple, minimized version, gives me everything I need to access PDF documents in a quick and easy way. well organized, the technical staff of Adobe has reimbentado the tool, making some major changes to the organization of how to access the documents, has on your left when you open the tool a quick access to the most recent documents, showing if this Locally or in the cloud, we can also access documents locally or in the cloud for those more active documents.
Acrobat Reader DC has an endless number of tools, which have been organized in large icons of colors on the right side, we simply click on it and we can access the different options of this tool classification.
A security niel is very robust. I would recommend 100%

Cons: This great tool has few disadvantages, despite having well-organized tools, the user with little experience can be a little difficult to know that when opening a document is activated the option of tools at the top, and the click there you will see the large amount of available tools, which are very useful to edit a document or to add some text, as well as protect it.
It also has a mini floating toolbar in the lower part, which can disappear if we want it to be anchored in the upper part, it can be uncomfortable for some users to use this floating bar, as well as to deactivate the bar, but it depends on each user and his experience.

Pros: First off, i like being able to download the product from the manufacturer/developers site directly. This way you feel safe that you are getting the right safe product.

Secondly, it just works!!! No funny settings or anything to worry about.

Third, the size of the software is small and quick. Click, click and it is in place.

Lastly and not to be overlooked is that it is FREE! That's pretty important.

If you are making use of PDFs and just want them to open and be readable then this is what you need. (note: you can also get fancy PDF versions from Adobe that do all kinds of extra things). Even with this version you can add notes and things to the PDF and share it with others.

It even works on tablets and phones so that's convenient to have cross platform access all on the same program.

Cons: I rated customer support as 4 stars (which may be a bit silly since i have never really run into a snag with the program) but i can't rate it 100% without having tried or needed it.

There are more fancy versions of the software which you can pay for but i must admit i have not really even needed them (yet). At least they are not pushy about advertising their paid versions all the time.

Overall: It allows me to read PDFs quickly and without fuss. Easy and simple (i like simple).

We use it daily to read invoices and final artwork submitted to us.

By having the artwork PDF'd and opening it with the same software developers product that we are all seeing the same thing. That's good for everyone as otherwise we could have big disputes resulting in fights over printed or web published artwork from advertisers that's not right and the subsequent fights over money.

Pros: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC offers document management with various tools and options. With options to comment on documents, electronically sign a document, or organize pages, document management is made simple with a downloadable software application. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is a windows application that allows users to add text to PDF file type documents. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is a great tool to collaborate with colleagues creating manuals, booklets, or pamphlets. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC gives users the ability to add hyperlinks to documents and add various special characters to authorize documents for human resources personnel.

Cons: Limited options may vary depending on the type of subscription of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC registered user. Limited organizational tools are available depending on the subscription type of the end user. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC connects other accounts to access files. Combine files is not available with the basic account type. The action wizard nor send for comments is available with a standard subscription, which limits the options for editing documentation.

Overall: The benefits of utilizing Adobe Acrobat Reader DC application include being able to operate across hardware such as Windows 10 or Mac Sierra. Other benefits include interfacing of other software applications such as Microsoft One Drive or DropBox. Additional benefits include being able to utilize Adobe Acrobat Reader DC conveniently with the Adobe Scan mobile application uploading files as well as transferring to electronic files. Moreover, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC benefits consist of creating standard PDF files. Overall, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is a great tool that assist with the collaboration of data amongst colleagues.

Pros: The price is free and it's made by the people who invented PDF, so compatibility is never an issue. If you have an errant PDF with problems, Acrobat Reader is your best bet at getting it open. I like that I can digitally sign PDFs with Acrobat Reader without the need to buy the full Acrobat software. Little things like that are expected features of software like this that make using it easier.

Cons: Historically, Acrobat Reader has been slow to open. Although that issue is mostly fixed, there are still many times when Acrobat Reader doesn't open quickly. Honestly, I expect a PDF reader to open almost instantly, especially with a fast PC and an SSD. It's just not acceptable to me to know have a small program like this open quickly.

Acrobat Reader likes to be the default app that opens PDFs on the web. That is great, but the tools for zooming, panning, printing, saving, etc, are not automatically visible. You have to click on the PDF to get the toolbar to pop down from the top. It's not intuitive at all.

I really hate that you can't change the default view of the right pane when you open Acrobat. It's always open and you have to manually shut it EVERY TIME! Totally annoying and unnecessary. The Tools tab, where you can find things like Comments, Fill & Sign, React, Certificates, etc, is mostly easy to find, but not the easiest thing to use. I wish those items were available in the right pane instead of the crap that's there now.

Pros: While most people continue to use their browser to read and print PDFs, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC takes it to the next level.

The primary advantage to using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is its ability to edit PDF documents. You can change words, fonts, size, and even highlighting like a normal word processor would. To some degree, you have even more control with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC as you can control horizontal scaling and character spacing which is much harder to do on most word processors.

Furthermore, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC provides ways to export your PDF into other formats, Comment on PDFs, Organize them via splitting or combining different pages together, and even a form option along with a fill & sign. The extra features greatly enhance the usefulness of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

Cons: There is not a whole lot to complain about as far as PDF readers go. Sometimes, when splitting documents, it would be nice to name documents based on a field found on each page rather than a name with a prefix.

Furthermore, beginners may have a hard time finding the different tools. An option in the top left corner right next to the home button labeled "Tools" gives you all the different options to edit your PDF. Often, beginners struggle to find it as it is not an option in your normal toolbar.

As I have the paid version, I have not had to deal with the different limitations that I would run into without the subscription, but the fact that there is a cost is a disadvantage unto itself.

Overall: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is a cross-platform PDF reader that goes beyond just a reader and allows you to make essential edits, combine PDFs, split pages, and create PDF forms -- all options that are severely lacking in other PDF readers. This is an extremely useful tool that is necessary for anyone who uses PDFs extensively.

I am rating this application very high as it was always available and easy to use.

Pros: I have been using Adobe reader for years and have found it to be a very useful application. I may recive a document in PDF and want to reuse it I am able to copy the portion and add it to another document then resave the file without any issues. I love that this program gives you the ability to edit and manipulate PDFs, something that was almost impossible otherwise. The ability to combine PDFs, edit them, create them, organize them is a plus. There are many options which I didnt even know were possible. The ability to reduce PDFs or export as images is very nice. I also enjoy the scanned text option to allow searchable PDFs which is a nice feature.

Cons: I think that Adobe should implement optical character recognition which I thinkwould be helpful. The other thing is that it cannot split a pdf file which has several pages into separate pdf documents this would have been a great feature.

Overall: The benefit I get from ths software of a lot I give it a five star and would definitly recommend this tool to accomplish many things.

Pros: I do appreciate that we have a widely-used way to view uneditable documents, and PDFs render like an image, so your formatting doesn't change (like it does with Word docs, etc., depending on the device you're viewing/editing them on).

I also appreciate the form features, so clients can fill out certain fields created in the document and enter a signature. It's also super helpful for showing layering and bleeds for marketing materials and business cards.

Some of the more advanced, premium features are nice too, though you've got to have a big bank account if you want to use them (more about that in Cons).

Cons: There's very little you can do without paying for it. Sometimes I want to combine documents, particularly when I scan them to my computer and the printer every now and then doesn't want to send a huge file, so I have to split it up into 2 scans. If it's for my business, it's just slightly embarrassing and unprofessional to have to send a single document in 2 parts. Spending money just for Adobe Pro seems a little crazy to me. I don't use it for signing/sending often, so I can't justify the ongoing cost. It would be different if I could just purchase the software, but Adobe has gone to subscriptions now, which just don't work for me.

Overall: It is handy to view PDFs I download from other sources, but it's just a viewer unless you want to pay a ridiculous amount of money.

This is an excellent PDF reader and I have had mostly a positive experience with it.

Pros: What I like most about this software includes the ability of this software to have different scrolling, zooming, and selection options. I use pdf documents that are technical engineering drawings and prints which contain a lot of different types of data all blended together including the drawn figures, comments, dimensions, and textual notes. Having the ability to select the text or pan and zoom into different features of drawn figures all within the same document smoothly with ease are very large plus points for me as a daily user of this product.

Cons: This product is overall excellent, and I am knit-picking to point out something I dislike. However, if I did have to say there was something that I did not like about the software is that sometimes with larger file sizes there is a bit of a lag with loading the document in the viewer window. Most basic pdf open quickly with this software, but sometimes pdf with complex images or many many pages (over say one hundred) have a bit of a lag associated with them that I feel could be handled a bit faster. Other pdf readers I have used in the past are able to handle these file sizes flawlessly, so my expectations for Adobe are thus higher.

Pros: "Overall Quality" is great. A simple tool for personal and commercial/business use. I use it everyday and it never let me down. Acrobat Reader can handle large PDF files and I have never had performance issues.

"Ease of Use" is the category where Acrobat Reader shines. Acrobat Reader is very easy to handle. A user-friendly design which has a simple toolbar with the main save and navigation button/features. You can hide the unnecessary panes for more reading space.
The tools tab is awesome. You can navigate in the different tools, quickly select them and get details how to use them.

"Features & Functionality" are really good. I love that you can create editable PDF form. My customers can easily complete and sign such forms, without printing. There is build in PDF-DOCX converter that comes very useful. I love the Stamp and Sign tools.

"Value for Money" - Some of the features should come for free, however I think that it's a good value for your money.

Cons: Some of the basic features are not available in the free version.
You can't pay at once and get lifetime license as only montly subscription/license is available.

Pros: Adobe Readers is one of the best PDF readers out there that is free to use and packet with a lots of features; such as; fill and sign; you can use Adobe Reader to fill any pdf forms with information, it makes it easy to use, there is also a signature feature to sign and also have the ability to save the filled document as well. Also, you can connect cloud storage apps such as Google Drive or OneDrive to pull up PDF docs. Moreover, Easy to navigate UI once Adobe Application loads and open on the right hand side you have many options to choose from , when opening the pdf document. I have been using Adobe reader for more than 5 + years and it makes it easier to view PDF docs, ability to fill and sign PDF forms, and save the PDF docs to online cloud storage.

Cons: I have noticed depending on the browser i use to open PDF documents via Adobe reader, it takes sometime to load the PDF if i use Mozilla or Edge, but in in chrome is loads pretty fast.

Overall: The main benefit i get using adobe reader is the ability to view any PDF documents and Filling out PDF forms that typically, filling out by hand is time consuming, but Adobe reader Fill and Sign makes the forms easier to read.

Pros: I am addicted to read books and scientific articles about enviroment, development and arts, and with Adobe Acrobat Reader I do not have any problems to download documents or buy books on the internte and just sit on my computer, tablet or smartphone and start reading what I most like. This a great app, because it is so simple to use, just open your files and you can underline, create figures to highlight and speciific topic and get an screenshot of any part of the document that generate an interest for you. You can also print a save the changes that you make in your documents in a very simple way.

Cons: The version that I have, Adobe Reader X has a little problem and that is that I cannot save the last point where I finish my read, so that means that I have to search manually where I stay in the book and continue my reading, I think that futures versions of the software can easily solve this problem.

Overall: For a person like me who use to read a lot of books an articles, this app has help to improve my knowledge, and easily learn about any topic I want, because PDF files are the most extended file types in the internet to share information between readers and professionals.

Good software package for the very basics.

Pros: If you're looking for a very standard pdf reader, then Acrobat is for you. There are practically no frills for this program, and that's reflected in the price. For a basic user who needs the capacity to view/create .pdf files, then you'll be covered here. The features, while very few, are intuitive and easy to use. Beyond that, it is a very affordable product if you don't need the fancy extras (embedding email or website addresses, copy/pasting text from a .pdf to another text document, etc.). Price is a big pro for this program.

Cons: The features and functionality are very limited. Recently, they've produced updates that allow you to create textboxes and place checkmarks, but that's about it (beyond highlighting). Unfortunately, these features are not very easy to find and even a user experienced with the program may have to do a little hunting to get what you're looking for. If you want the capability to create forms with embedded text entry fields, copy and paste letters from a .pdf file to a text editing file, or manipulate the form in any specific way, you're not going to find that with this product.

Pros: I like the editing features in this software the most. I have used other versions of Adobe pdf and they were extremely limited in their features. If you basically need a viewer, this version is not for you. However, if you need to add pages, insert files, edit existing files, add signatures, reduce scan size, then this version is for you. The process is easy and the "Search Tools" feature allows you to find anything you need, even if you aren't sure what it may be called.

Cons: I can't think of anything I don't like about this software. If I had one complaint it would be about the Adobe Creative Cloud App that houses the Reader-DC. We have had issues with the number of users allowed on to each app at the same time. We frequently have to sign out, or it signs out a user and requires users to sign back in, without the option to remember the login and password of the users.

Overall: I feel like this software saves me time, which is essentially saving me money. It allows me to complete many editing features in one application. Previous to this software, I would have to edit and make changes in Word and then convert to a pdf, now I can do it all in Reader-DC.

Pros: What I like most about this program is that it allows converting a document into a non-editable file at the time that we need to keep its properties, such as image texts or the formats of it. It is also very good since it allows certain tools to combine several files that are in that format, as well as to transform its format into another one that allows editing. As they have updated the versions, they have been adding tools to incorporate some elements if necessary, including comments, making measurements, entering texts. In many cases, saving a document, for example, that contains images in PDF format, allows you to maintain a good resolution but reduces the size of storage, facilitating the sending of e-mails, for example.

Cons: One of the disadvantages is that to be able to view this type of file, you must have the program installed, which would make it difficult to see if the user you want to send it to or if you need to open it on another computer and it is not installed, we risk not to be able to open it, since at the same time its discharge can become a bit slow. Sometimes the computer can hang up when trying to download a pdf file. Sometimes to be able to visualize a file of this type can generate problems if it is of another version.

Overall: The benefits it has given me is that it has allowed me to handle documents in a secure way, send lighter files. Configure files with special features such as adding signatures, stamps, combine or order once the file has been saved.

Pros: This new computer age has allowed this type of software to have a lot of value for the worker, researcher and planner. Among the benefits that I find in this program we can review documents in PDF format; books, forms, research instruments, legal documents among other documents of interest. And not only with the option of being able to see these documents, but also they can be elaborated, they can be protected or they can be left unlocked for the free use; can be exported to other environments such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and has the valuable tool of comments and opinions to improve the user experience

Cons: I do not have negative aspects that stand out beyond that sometimes I can not see the document online, or the printing is not as accurate as I expect it and a general criticism to some programs that is the inability to be able to observe them in other operative systems. These elements could be improved to have a more complete use of the software.

Overall: Thanks to this software developed since the end of the 20th century, and perfected since the 21st century, I have been able to see directly how each of the solutions associated with my work has improved. Being able to migrate to this program, leaving behind more incomplete ways to edit and send documents, has improved my capabilities. Added to this, it is quite easy to use and there is a lot of content on the internet configured in this format.

The Adobe systems family has hit the nail on the head by creating and perfecting Adobe Acrobat Reader, and I fully recommend this program to everyone.

Pros: Adobe Acrobat DC is one of those applications where you do not even realize how useful it is until you're stuck on a computer without it. It also now works with the Adobe cloud, which is extremely useful. I also love when my clients use the tracking changes feature in this product. Provide a simpler way to mark each item as you go and make edits in a clear and easy to understand way, i like that we can use it on a variety of devices, both PC and Mac, in articles generated from a wide variety of programs and that everything looks exactly as it was created and thought,  In addition this software is really useful to send invoices and forms of agreement for the recipient to complete and send back. The signature function is very useful.

Cons: Sometimes, when it is a large file, the combined pages are not always 100% at any time, they may not appear or, sometimes, when they are printed, they may appear distorted.

Overall: It allows you to send and share extremely professional looking files in an easy to read and manage way. It's also ideal for things like contracts and getting signatures needed for those contracts.

Pros: The best feature is text editing, but you can edit the images, crop the page, add pages, delete pages, copy pages, a lot of different things. I have used the text editing function to copy text from a PDF file and paste it into another program in order to change the format of our corporate brand. I also love the option to export to an image. This is very useful when a pdf is not printed or it matters as it is in my design program. More than just a PDF platform, Adobe Acrobat DC also works as an eSignature solution (which saves a lot of time). You can send documents to recipients located anywhere in the world and put your legally binding signatures without effort. This is extremely valuable to me when I work with clients on the go.

Cons: Overall, the program has a very simple feel to it, but is actually a bit more complex than one would imagine. Once you get the hang of it, it is simple. There seems to be a learning curve, however.

Overall: Dealing with PDF files has never been so easy, and due to the great popularity of Adobe, this is just another product that they have not disappointed.

Pros: While most Web browsers have their own built in pdf viewers these days, Adobe Acrobat Reader has many more functions that are necessary for my work. As an academic researcher, I read tons of studies all of the time which I download from journals. Adobe is great because I can have multiple files open at once and easily switch through them with the tabs. Plus, I can highlight and add notes in the text (my favorite feature). Some helpful advanced features include being able to cut apart or add pdf documents together. I actually use this a lot for my own papers I write, and it saves me the trouble of having to convert them back and forth into Word documents.

Cons: I've heard Adobe has some security vulnerabilities, and it is possible that having the program installed on your computer can open you up to exploits. I'm not sure if these have been patched yet.

Overall: Great for juggling many pdf documents at once, plus lots of advanced editing features. The free version has most features available, but lucky for me my University has a licence for the advanced version so I get access to all of the extra goodies.

Pros: I use adobe daily for business use. I have tried other similar applications when my use case needed something that adobe did not offer but find myself returning as adobe is constantly improving their product and not only integrating the competitors features, but improving on them. I am constantly surprised and pleased with new feature releases finding that they always meet my needs, and often surprise me with features I didn't even know I wanted.

Cons: The software can run into bug problems at times. Specifically when it comes to printing PDFs. There seems to be a recurring one that causes my pdfs to print blank. The bugs that crop up are all usually fixed just not in a timely manner that I would like. This has caused me to stray to other software suites but once fixed, always has me coming back to adobe.

Overall: The largest benefit I have gotten from this software is the ability to measure blueprints based on scale I input. This has made it much easier for estimating then printing out the pdf and using a tape measure. Its features like this that are always being added that really make this product shine.

Pros: As a small business owner I fill out and sign a lot of forms for accounts and paperwork using Acrobat Reader. It is useful in that I can use the Sign feature to place text anywhere on the page and also to place a saved signature. The text font size can easily be scaled to properly fit a line on the page. I also use Acrobat Reader to review pdf catalogs and am able to zoom, page, etc with ease. The PDF is a universal document that we also use for print ads and graphics that are saved in Illustrator. So I would have to concede that Acrobat Reader is an essential application for just about any business including our own.

Cons: This software is extremely annoying in that it always creates prompts and popups for updates. I absolutely hate how frequently it will interrupt the user with some announcement or new version. It's the worst. Acrobat Reader also has a heavyweight footprint for RAM and system usage when running.

Overall: We use Acrobat Reader to view and sign documents as well as to review proofs for graphic design.

Pros: Adobe Acrobat Reader has been with me for many years in my training process and currently does it in my work process, leaving me only excellent impressions among which we have a widely used and recognized format that is PDF, large amounts of information that had to be carried before in many sheets, it can now be carried on a PC, Android, IOS, or tablet device, in the way, easier and simpler. In addition to this, the PDF format can be opened in any computer.

Cons: One of the most negative aspects that I see of PDF formats is that their editing is very cumbersome, you have to use special programs that can support this format

Overall: Adobe Acrobat Reader is an excellent software that simplifies and reduces considerably the resources that have to be spent to keep a company afloat; I specifically refer to the issuance of paper, classified information, legal documents, assistance formats, information filling list among other things that this program knows how to synthesize without losing its quality and the veracity of the texts made.

Pros: Acrobat Reader remains the free standard choice for viewing, printing, filling out forms, and signing pdf files. The software operation is very basic and requires minimal training. Whenever I use Acrobat, I am confident that the document I am viewing is safe. Having a reliable PDF reader that can be view on computers, tablets, smartphones, etc. is a must in today's business world.

Cons: If a document is large or contains many photos, Acrobat will begin to run sluggish. It will take very long to scroll through a document or parts or parts of the document will disappear from the pdf as you scroll through. This is an issue that happens frequently with devices connected over a mobile network. We encourage our sales people to use a wifi connection when viewing PDF files because of this issue. We have also had issues with form information not saving and transferring properly. Some of the documents we are required to fill out can be lengthly and we have lost several when transferring back to the person that orignally sent us the forms.

Overall: Free PDF viewing, annotation, signature, form filling, and printing capabilities.

Pros: it allows me to visualize all the information that is in pdf format, as well as to save files of editable formats to pdf. It is flexible in letting me underline main ideas within the document and gives me the opportunity to add a comment within the file if necessary. At work protects the document from being modified and altered, thus protecting the copyright. It is easy to understand for beginners and does not take up much space. Important is free and runs on different operating systems.

Cons: There are few limitations that I observe for this software, one is that it can lower the quality of the documents when they are printed, and when you have not done the update each time you save a document you will see the company logo on the upper left, compromising the information of the file.

Overall: It allows me to have access to all the documents in pdf format, it is easy to use either from the computer or tablet and does not generate any expense to acquire it.

Pros: Adobe created the PDF file format, so they basically write the rule book. If you're going to use a PDF program, I would probably just stick with Adobe. A great feature of the program is being able to add and edit text to a PDF, using the original document's font. Basically acrobat analyzes the text and constructs a facsimile of the font. Even if the font is not installed on your computer, you can still use it.

Cons: The major downside is that it can be kind of pricey. If you already have a Creative Cloud subscription, this program might be included in your plan. However, if it's not, then it's just another monthly fee you have to worry about. Also, if you don't need all of the capabilities that the program provides, then it might be cheaper to just go with an alternate reader. But, if you need to do some intense editing or create forms that can be signed, then you might just have to bite the bullet.

This software is used as a default document type in order to ensure all parties will have access.

Pros: I love the new Fill & Sign function that is available with the free download as it makes documents a fillable form. This is important in that is keeps documents looking crisp and has eliminated the need to print forms, fill them out manually, and re-scan them to be digital again which is a big saver of paper. I love that it is an easy and free download. I only send documents in PDF's along with a link to the download to avoid recipients saying they cannot open the file or the document has lost it's format.

Cons: What I like least about the free download version of Adobe DC Reader is that sometimes certain documents disable the Copy and Past function which makes pulling information from a PDF sometime difficult.

Overall: This product eliminates many instances where printing may have been necessary. It also ensure that company wide documents do not lose their formatting when being sent and transferred from one computer to another.

Pros: I am able to convert all types of documents (word, docx, etc) into PDF's - then if needed, edit them still and share with my team. I use adobe illustrator a lot in my job so having everything saved as a PDF is a must for me. I love that you can re-arrange the pages of a PDF, the "find & replace" tool is so valuable! When we change the name of product I can easily change it throughout the document without having to read it over manually and find each one.

Cons: I don't like that it's subscription-based now. Over time you pay a lot to use it, which I'm sure is why they do it but on the pro side, at least the software is always being updated without having to buy the updated version. I don't like the feature to move text - it doesn't work great to select text and move to another page. I end up having to open it in illustrator to do that.

Overall: Time savings, ease of use within multiple other programs.

Pros: I get to use adobe acrobat reader for documents that was sent via the company's internal email. Majority for Sharing new learning materials or updates and even documentation templates. which is a very important flat form for an operation that needs constant updates. My work load is towards the leasing industry, our team handles multiple property management companies, and updates comes in almost everyday.
It can easily access the document without having to save it, but you have the option to do so. Well this eliminates file clutter, specially for a read only document against files that you will have to use over and over again.

Cons: In some cases the system will uninstall itself or will not load even if you're still seeing there. It may be an issue with our i.t. team but it happens. But it can easily be solves remotely. So trouble shooting is not an issue.

Pros: Acrobat Reader DC adds several points in favor with some of its features. You can review documents in PDF format such as forms and books. In the same way they can be protected in read only mode. In the same way it seems to me that it is an intuitive software that facilitates the handling for beginners. Its function to click and drag to the work area is very practical

Cons: I honestly can not find major disadvantages in Acrobat Reader DC. It seems to me that he has fully fulfilled my expectations. At first it seems a complex program but to delve into its functions we can realize that it is a very useful software that is worth making an investment.

Overall: Acrobat Reader DC has allowed me to save time and practice my profession in a simpler way. To create online forms related to the educational area and have a cloud to store all our information is invaluable. With this software, things seem simpler than they are.

Pros: If you work with PDF forms a lot this program is hands down the best out there. I love being able to open a PDF and edit it easily, or create a fillable form to send to coworkers or clients. Another huge bonus is that when I scan documents onto my computer, it's so easy to take all the indvidual pictures, convert them to PDFs, combine all the individual PDFs into one document and edit the page organization. This program is absolutely amazing and easy to use!

Cons: My biggest pet peeve is that its nearly impossible to edit tables in PDFs. I have to convert the document to word, which can cause formatting issues, just to edit the table, and then convert it back to PDF. I really which this was a feature that would be fixed.

Overall: Great PDFing tool, but if you don't want to pay the high costs are don't work with PDFs extensively, there's plenty of free options out there.

Pros: Adobe Reader DC has been our go-to application for PDF viewing and annotation since it was released. We use it on our RDS servers and desktop/laptop images due to its stability and broad compatibility. The most recent versions allow us to mark up PDFs and open more secure files. The app has server our users greatly over the past 2-3 years. The software allows to deploy it via GPO or software package fairly easily. We've tried other PDF readers in the past. However, we seem to make it back to this one every time.

Cons: The Tools pane seems to never go away no matter how you hide or ask it not to show. Small price to pay though for the value the software provides.

Overall: A broad compatibility PDF viewer. The software seems to be solid and not buggy. It does not include a lot of bloat and provides cloud options for those who feel like connecting their Adobe ID.

Pros: It is a very intuitive program, it is very easy to locate its main functions for the reading of documents, add comments to share them with another person. It allows me to highlight important parts of the documents for my research and courses. When I teach the courses it allows me to ensure that the documents and presentations are of good quality and are compatible with computers other than my own.

Cons: Sometimes some unusual fonts are not properly incorporated into PDF documents. Some very heavy documents, or documents with a lot of images, cause the program to become very slow, especially when used on computers with little memory.

Overall: The program has allowed me to dictate my courses in a much more secure way, because of the quality of my presentations and documents, because the format and content maintains the original location that both had in the design program.

Pros: This is one of the most used and powerful applications with which you can create, edit and view your documents in a portable .PDF format which gives you security. One of the advantages it provides is that you can prevent your files from being modified by giving you read-only protection, or by protecting them with a password. It has really become one of the basic applications that you must have installed on your computer because most people use this format, in case of not having it it is a file that will not be recognized by the computer.

Cons: This application in my opinion has nothing to say against, it really adapts to what I need and has been improving over the years by annexing new features.

Overall: With this application I have been able to create, moficar, visualize and protect my study documents in a format of easy portability PDF.

Pros: I like the simplicity of the Acrobat reader user interface, and how I am able to make multiple changes to my PDF documents in the same program and directly on my pc. Without the need to leverage on external applications or software
I love how I just can edit, sign, fill, export, create, combine, stamp, measure, add certificates, organize pages, censor, protect, optimize, prepare forms, compare files, customize them, and much more, all this a single program and with the quality that Adobe always offers.

Cons: I have no complaints regarding Adobe Reader DC, it is the most complete version of this software, it has all the options that a professional requires, it has no limitations, and removes the need to invest my time using external applications, since all the options what you need are in AR.

Pros: The standard for PDF, has many important tools you need already in the free version. I mostly like the annotations tool, as well as the Fill and Sign tool. Fill and Sign was something I always wanted in the past, something so simple that saves a lot of time and effort, instead of having to print, fill, sign and then scan and email someone.

Cons: I don't like the fact that you can't do basic editing to some things, like covering a field or something. Could be for security reasons, but could have a workaround. Another thing I don't like is when part of the text cannot be copied - even in some pdf documents that are not locked. The copy field shows up when right clicking, but it doesn't copy. In Brazil we use payment slips to pay some bills, and in some cases we have to end up typing a huge string of numbers.

Pros: 1) Pdf format is our preferred template for sending and receiving documents, and almost all document types can easily be converted into a pdf file. The benefit of Acrobat Reader is that it allows you to manipulate and combine these files however you need to.
2) The editing features are very user friendly and make it easy to make additions (text or graphic) to pdf files, to combine files, and to extract pages.
3) The text on scanned documents becomes editable through Adobe's text recognition feature.
4) Unlike Microsoft word, you can click and drag text and images to wherever you want them to be on the page.

Cons: There is very little that I don't like about this software. It is easy to use, efficient, and offers many benefits for administrative work. The only cons are that if you save the file as an "Adobe pdf" rather than simply a "PDF" this file type is not always compatible for others you are sending the document to.

Pros: Adobe Acrobat DC has so much more functionality than Adobe Reader that I wish I'd upgraded earlier. Acrobat DC makes it easy to create forms, insert pages from other PDF files, edit content, add images and comments/notes, highlight content, sign documents electronically, and more. I also like being able to "print to PDF" to save digital copies of everything from online receipts to Word documents and lock them to prevent others from editing the content. Those are just a few of the things that make Acrobat DC a necessity for me and a tool I highly recommend to all professionals.

Cons: I imported a Word file with form fields once and was disappointed that the fields didn't transfer. There may have been a better workaround, but I just recreated the form in Acrobat. Now I build the content for forms in Word, leave spaces for form fields, print to PDF, and then add the form fields.

Overall: With Acrobat DC, I'm able to create forms, add/change/move images, edit and highlight text, add notes/comments for other readers, digitally sign documents and request digital signatures, lock content so other readers can't edit it, and more. I use it so frequently that I don't know what I'd do without it!

Pros: - Many features that work well, better than any 3rd party software used.
- Allows manipulation of documents in a way that is relatively user-friendly.
- Once used to, can be very powerful for PDF editing & creating fillable documents.
- PDF application on all other platforms is free and easy to use.

Cons: - So robust that the biggest struggle is knowing where each feature is found at
- Unless using frequently, can be difficult to make the cost worth it.
- Uses some confusing wording when titling each section.
- Editing text and editing fillable areas are under different pdf categories.

Overall: Complete editability of PDF documents like no other software provides. Will allow you to not only edit PDF's but add features to your pdf that you could only dream about with other software.

Pros: Easily navigable tabbed interface, comprehensive PDF editing features. Mobile Acrobat DC apps convert photos into PDF forms which is a plus. Adobe is very efficient and make our life easier. Adobe's help and support resources are extensive, and although there is no phone or email support, they do have live chat support on their website, which is a great perk.

Cons: Adobe Reader DC has a rich feature set and that can be overwhelming for new users. While Acrobat DC's highly customization interface is a pro, if you don't spend time getting it to where you want it, the default interface could be a bit confusing in that it presents options you may never use.

Overall: Acrobat DC allows for extremely detailed control over your documents' security while providing extensive tools for collaboration, annotation and redaction.

Pros: This an app that I use since I was in highschool, and later in college and for my master degree, all my files in PDF format I use it through Acrobat Reader, it is easy, simple and fast, does not take much time to load the files and you can browse inside them easily, all my books, documents and articles are in PDF format and of course I use with Acrobat Reader

Cons: In the beginning the software has some limitations, some lags and the large virtually cannot open it with it, but the newest version are fast, simple and very useful. Maybe they improve the tools for underlying. becuase other similar software has improve a lot this tools.

Overall: The possibilty to manage and use all my files in PDF format in only one app. I like very much Acrobat Reader I am user of this program from so many years ago I constantly uses daily.

Pros: Using Adobe native software is the best way to get 100% compatibility with the range of PDF documents and forms strewn across the web. If you dig into the settings, DC's features as a viewer are quite robust. The interface meanwhile remains mostly functional, although somewhat clunky and with odd gaps in what can or cannot be customized. Were it not for resource usage issues detailed in the Cons section, it could still be as outstanding as it once was.

Cons: Adobe, like many large software publishers seems intent on testing the limits of how much questionably useful, basic functionality and interface gee-whizzery they can cram into what really should be a streamlined, lightning quick viewer app. What am I trying to say? Reader DC, far moreso than Reader XI will test the limits of your system resources, while doing basically the same job that Reader versions have done for years and years. There are free (and some open source) reader alternatives which still prioritize responsiveness. I will admit that of these alternatives, they still often seem to struggle with compatibility - using Adobe native reader is still the only way to guarantee maximum compatibility.

Pros: In my job as a lawyer, Adobe Acrobat Reader has been fundamental for the development of my functions in the company where I work:

Among the most interesting functions that this software has, I observe the following ones:

1-A fairly warm interface, with its well-described functions.

2-Very large files such as books, intellectual property documents and litigation, are reduced to a size easy to transport anywhere.

3-Elaboration of difgital signatures that allow me to shorten the time in the elaboration of legal documentation.

Cons: Sometimes some files are not transformed in the best way to other software and applications such as Microsoft Word. Although I think that these aspects, as the updates have been happening, have been improving significantly

Pros:
I do not generate any expense to download it to the computer, to my tablet, to my phone, it allows me to view the files in pdf format, but I can also convert my files in this format, but the most important thing is that it allows me to combine different pdf files in only one, that makes my work much easier, to manage a single file and not multiple or by sheets.

Cons:

Pros: It just handles PDF documents better than the native applications on Mac or Windows. While others can get the job done, this is something you likely don't know you needed until you use it. Handles digital signatures and multiple document types A LOT better than other applications

Cons: There aren't too many negatives, it is easy to use, but there seem to be some bugs. For instance, you can't seem to simply open and view a document with a digital signature to verify its signing. The program always prompts you to save a copy while closing even though you haven't made any changes.

Overall: Its ease of use is the main benefit. Other programs can mainly do the same things, but this is the easiest I have come across. Using advanced PDF features is where it really has a much better functionality over its competitors

Pros: This is the best software to use with your PDF of all times, simple interphase, the tools that you need, option of edition, stickers, print and security, and the most important of all it is a multidevice software, so you can use in your smartphone or tablet. This is a very lighweight software and it runs smooth, it almost never has a lag or interruption, and support heavy documents which has inside a lot of images and tables.

Cons: Maybe they can improve more tools to underlying and stickers, another software brings more option, and they can also must create a option to edit the PDF, specially the size of the fonts and the size of the tables.

Overall: Read and manage PDF files easily, and no matter size or device that I am using, Adobe Reader is always very useful.

I have been using Adobe professionally for three years.

Pros: I love the ease of functionality that Acrobat Reader DC provides. The software is very clear in how to organize and combine files, as well as sending for signatures and signing official documents. I especially like all of the tools which comes with Adobe Reader DC in editing documents. You can even create your own custom tool. I believe that this software is essential for all offices and would definitely recommend it to those who prefer e-signatures and reducing their carbon footprint.

Cons: The thing that I like least about the Acrobat Reader DC software would be that occasionally the software can crash. However, this may be due to the amount of files I am editing on the software rather than the software itself to be fair.

Pros: Acrobat works perfectly in all devices that you have, you can use in your computer, tablet and smartphone and always this app will be work wonderfully. Acrobat Readers not is a very complex tool, but is extremely useful, a very nice a friendly interphase allows you to read and browse in your files easily, searching what you want and underlying the text that are important for you, you can also make screenshots and print. But the simplicity of the tools is one of its major advantages.

Overall: With Acrobat Reader I had read thousands of books, documents and articles, this app has help since I was in highschool, and now with the technology change I can also use it in other devices what it is really useful for me, because I constantly have to read a lot of documents for work

Pros: I use this software to sign documents, create hyperlinks, proof documents, edit documents and send them to other people, and save documents from here to Creative Cloud. There is a signature feature, editing and commenting feature, a note adding feature, you can make the software read your document so that it'll find the fields with words and you can highlight or change depending on the permissions.

Cons: If I go into InDesign, create a document, and then put it into Acrobat to create all the hyperlinks, then I save it, it's fine. BUT if I have to go back to edit the InDesign file, all the hyperlinks get erased and you have to put it back into Acrobat to redo them all. It's a pain when you have a lot of links.

Pros: easily able to open pdf files and view them. It offers such a clean view and REALLY easy to use. I barely had to use the internet to find my answer to my question. Also editing a pdf was insanely easy. Before I was using some online editor tool and that took hours to do. Here if there is a form entry the reader automatically knows that you can write in that space. I always had to fill out more than 15+ pages in forms for my job and using this tool really made the process easy.

Cons: A real major con is that sometimes the start up for the software is a bit slow, but keep it up and it should work for the rest of the day.

Overall: Easy able to view documents and edit them at ease. Saved me a lot of time because I used to use an online editor and that took hours because I had to highlight wherever I wanted to write. This software already knows where I want to write because it senses the form areas and makes my life 20x easier!!!

Pros: I am a TOTAL Adobe fan! It wasn't till this past year that I explored Adobe Reader's functionality other than opening a PDF. As a built-in product, it is powerful and user friendly. One of my favorite feature is Comments, Stamps, and Fill & Sign. It is a visually effective software that I daily use many, many times!

Cons: One cannot edit a PDF with Reader; this feature is available with Acrobat, which I have upgraded to, but Reader has many features that the casual user will find aides with efficiency and productivity.

Overall: I daily complete online forms and save them to the Cloud. I love the ability to comment and directly email. With Acrobat, I have developed a number of fillable forms for our patients. Adobe is one of the best tools in my arsenol!

Pros: It is easy to install, it is compatible with many languages and occupies little space on my hard disk. It allows to have my files always at hand through my phone or computer.
It is a very useful tool in my profession since I am a teacher and I can send my students all the files that are necessary to process the various topics that are being studied.

Cons: Some files can not be edited, you can not divide the files into several pdf files, and you can not combine several pdf files in one file.

Overall: It is a tool that is part of my day to day because of my work because I send my students pdf files which they can not edit.

Pros: Fast and easy to install. Out of the box checks and wants to be the default PDF reader. It is also quick to open, and spool documents for printing. Used it to read and print off books for a company, and it ran faster than other software I used.

Cons: Be mindful of Adobe trying to install additional "optional" software during the installation. This can include search toolbars for web browsers. By default, the tools bar on the right side opens each time Adobe Reader DC is opened. You have to go into the Preferences and change this to keep the bar closed (if that is what you want). Chances are if you're using Reader DC, you don't have access to the tools anyway. They won't work unless you pay for it.

Pros: As a professor I have to read and storage a lot of documents and the most of them are in PDF format, and I had always use Adobe Reader to read it, underline and create annotations of the most importants parts of the books and articles that I have in my collections, this softwatre has been so useful for me, was the first that I use so many years ago and I continue reading and editing my PDF in Adobe Reader.

Cons: The only feature that I do not like is that the version that I have do not start automatically in the last page that I read, so you have to search for yourself that page and start reading again, and to that is so annoying.

Pros: I love the fill and sign feature, you can use it even if you don't have an Adobe Pro account. It makes email correspondence with documents so much easier. I also love being able to edit, separate, and add documents to a PDF, it makes my job much easier. Rather than scanning in dozens of documents one by one, I can scan them in all at once and just break up the PDF.

Cons: Sometimes when I am converting a document into a PDF, the fonts come through as illegible. The formatting gets messed up and I have to do it a different way or start completely over. I have had multiple instances of the software crashing and erasing my work.

Overall: Quicker processing of documents, easy to use forms, and quality PDF's.

Pros: This software is another essential in the desktop of my pc. Presentation of documents in a clean and encrypted form, digital signatures to personalize the document more, with incredibly light and efficient files in their transfer, are the most outstanding characteristics that I find in this software.

Cons: Sometimes when the documents come from other similar companies in the field, the transformation of the documents to Acrobat Reader is not the best, since it loses some fundamental information of the format, which gives meaning to the information that is transferred

Overall: While we are working with Acrobat Reader documents I highly recommend it, it is a software that should be in each of our managements and workspaces.

Pros: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for me is the most complete reader, the new version is excellent, much more modern and intuitive, and the best thing is that it includes synchronization in the cloud to work with different devices from any place where you have access to the internet.

Cons: it is a bit heavy, other programs like Foxit Reader has similar functions with less weight, they should make an improvement in this aspect, especially thinking about people who own equipment with limited resources, or people who only need a pdf reader.

Overall: For me it is very beneficial to have my documents in the cloud and thus be able to access the same PDF document from your mobile, tablet, PC, MAC, iPad, etc. since it has become more functional

Pros: It has improved from its earlier versions. The buttons and features have been simplified for easier access. For outlining fonts for print it is a 3 step process. Also, I can make fields editable for our clients' to enter their information.

Cons: The editable pdf function has only limited solutions to our problems. It should be much easier to move and edit fields. Fields do not save over from version to version. The outlining fonts should be a one button solution instead of its current three buttons.

Overall: Without many options, it is the standard we use for getting print files made ready for print. Crop marks and bleeds are able to be easily made instead of setting it up in photoshop as a jpeg. It could be much better though.

Pros: I have this program installed on my different PC, laptop and tablet devices, to visualize any information that comes to me in pdf format, likewise it allows me to save information in this format, safeguarding my information. I can join and sort several documents into one, a wonderful option for organizing scattered information. It is free.

Cons: From my point of view there are few limitations that I have on this program, one of them is related to the fact that at the time of printing the quality of the image resolution is lost, which in my case is important.

Overall: Visualize all the documentation in pdf format, and the union of these documents for me is the greatest advantage that the program presents.

Cons: Requires the execution of a "plug-in" Requires the latest versions of the reader (5 or higher), The status of accessibility of tools is not as advanced as its equivalent for HTML (eg there are problems with tables that are already usable in HTML), It is easier to create a fully accessible HTML document than a PDF with its limited accessibility options.

Pros: New functionality means I can change the font and typeface size of fillable forms, and change specifics like box color and opacity on redaction. Upon redaction, the software asks if I want to remove metadata, which is fabulous. Also, there's now a spell check (red underline) for filling forms. The DC version is a jump in the power of Adobe.

Cons: The learning curve is a little higher on this version, because names of things have changed. For example, "typewriter" is gone, now the user goes to the fill forms section to add text, or you have to edit the whole PDF. This is a little confusing after the typewriter was a one-click. Oddly, the "camera" function, which is essentially a snip-it tool, is still in the drop down menus, while everything else had moved to the "tools" menu.

Overall: Nothing works as well for document control.

Pros: It is the most complete tool to visualize all the information in pdf format, in a simple and practical way, it is very easy to use and helps to keep PDF files organized. Cons: It could be a little faster and lighter. It can be a bit slow when handling large pdf files and makes the computer a bit slow.

Overall: Acrobat Reader DC offers the user a very user-friendly and easy-to-use experience. It is free allowing me to use this software on my computer, tablet and smartphone. The ability to edit and search for information through keywords is magnificent. It is my favorite Reader.

Pros: I can take almost any document and edit it. I don't need some fancy program to edit a document (whether it was made in word, indesign, illustrator, etc.). It's a word editing software as well as image editing app all in one place. love this software

Cons: Sometimes files are corrupt (I guess?) and I have to shut down my computer because the software freezes a lot. I also don't like how it splits documents up into different sections. If a document was made on word then exported into a pdf and you try to edit within the pdf, the format will change and get all weird and not recognize fonts and change the entire layout.

Overall: you can do almost anything to a document - all in one place!

Cons: Actually i'm watching a lot of alternatives softwares for Acrobat Reader, some people complains of the weight or the vulnerabilities in the security. I don't see it like that, but this software should tink about the ways for facing this presumed weakness.

Pros: Working a lot with pdfs means you would want the Pro version, but since only the reader shows up for review this will have to do. The ability to scan in documents, export pages, insert text, insert stamps, comment, markup, and do pretty much anything you want with a pdf makes this software great. I use it daily and when I don't have it on a different computer it is sorely missed.

Cons: Cost for the Pro version can be up there, and now Adobe has gone to monthly billing which is annoying since you quickly outpace the value of purchasing the software outright when it was available to do so. Otherwise it works great and is needed for any business.

Pros: You can insert your signature into the program. Anytime you need to sign a form, you can then simply click your signature and add it to where it needs to go. You can also add text boxes and tick check boxes, so that you do not need to print the form and fill it out. This program is also good for sending people information that you do not wish to be edited.

Cons: Some of the menus are a little confusing and it is hard to find what you want. Also, you can only add a maximum of 2 signatures to the program, which is hard if you need to add more than this.

Every time I think there is something I cannot do in this app I find out that Adobe has figured out how to do it. I love that I can sync my files to the cloud and the editing feature has to be my favorite. Pros: the application par excellence to see files in PDF format, I can view the files on any device, regardless of the operating system, consumes few resources which allows me to use it on my old desktop PC.

Cons: because it is a viewer, I do not like that the sidebar is not seen by default, since sometimes it obscures the visibility of the files, it would be convenient to have the buttons in the toolbar to control the display of the file.

Overall: On the internet it is very common that many files are in pdf format, therefore acrobat reader is necessary to be able to visualize them, in turn it allows me to save the page in pdf format to be able to visualize it later, characteristics that make it unique and necessary.

Cons: Some settings are difficult to manage, such as text size and colors. When I find a setting that I like, I often have to reset it when moving my cursor to a different spot on the page. It would be ideal for the settings to stay the same until they are manually changed.

Pros: I look at PDF documents all day long and this tool makes it super easy to view, edit, and print. It also saves previous documents you have looked at so there is no need to go search for them through emails etc. again.

Cons: There is nothing really to dislike or you dont like about this tool. However, Printing options are not as clear as preview (the default mac program) - specifically printing multiple pages on a single page to save paper or to a plotter

Overall: It allows you to share PDF documents securely and gives you the option of adding a password that someone will need in order to access the document. It also has features that allow you to select permissions.

Pros: There is no better reader of PDF files then Adobe acrobat reader, since day one I've been using Adobe Acrobat reader and it is just natural viewer of PDF files. You can manipulate PDF files in every way, you can extract pages, mark them and even convert them in paid version.
Adobe is recommendation for everyone.

Cons: I really think there shouldn't be paid version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, all those functions are just going to waist, since no one is ever going to upgrade their Adobe Reader version.

Overall: There is really no hustle when it comes to PDF files, i always have Adobe Acrobat reader installed either on my PC or on my phone.

Acrobat Reader DC has done an excellent job considering cross-platform editing with many file types.

Pros: Our office uses Acrobat Reader daily to perform a variety of editing functions on our PDFs. It allows a smooth transaction between staff and parents when a form needs to be signed. The recent electronic signature features have been dynamite! We also use the feature that allows saving files as a PDF as this was released in a new update.

Cons: I listed the features and functionalities of a 4 star because the toolbar isn't always natural. I find myself having to tinker around with the tools to figure out which one I need. (ie. they don't always match the feature icons in popular Microsoft Office software)

Pros: Pros for the free version is the ability to view document from all pdf readers in one place. Meaning some people send pdf's from other pdf reader/creators. This one is the best to open all types. Though I have never used the paid version of this software, I'm sure my feelings toward it will still be great and possibly higher.

Cons: The only con i have is trying to adjust the default settings for viewing documents once they are open. At one point they were easy to find, then the easy part went away and you had to dig around for what you were looking for. Overall though, still like and use this software.

Pros: Acrobat Reader is a great reader for PDF documents. The interface is understandable and intuitive, very easy-to-use tool. It's possible to highlight text, make bookmarks and quickly jump to a table of contents. And of course one of the most loved features an ability to electronically sign PDF documents which is very useful to e-sign docs on the go.

Cons: It would be great if there would be a separate license for a single-time payment, without needing to pay a monthly subscription. Many of my customers would like to purchase it instead of a regular Adobe CC license.

Overall: Excellent tool for managing PDF docs!

Pros: This program allows me to read the information of PDF files. You can view documents from other formats such as scanned images, plans from autocad, Word files, Power Point, Excell, among others. I can change the Zoom and see from small details or zoom out and see the document or full plan. It is compatible with operating systems such as Windows, Mac (appel) and Linux. I can annotate the document, copy the information, highlight it and use it in other programs such as Word, Excell and Power Point. This software has the function that I can track the documents sent over the internet (Adobe Send & Track).

Cons: If you have an old version installed, it will not let you open the file and you must install the new version, which can take hours if you do not have a good internet connection

Overall: It has security that can be configured by the user to protect the integrity of the document. The format is compatible with most of the existing operating systems. It is easy to use.

Pros: I like that I'm able to create and unpasteurized PDFs for business. The Adobe Sign I started like better than DocuSign. And when it's working I don't think there is anything better.

Cons: I bought the full blown software from Dell when I bought my XPS laptop. For some reason the software will stop working and I will not be able to access anything. This is very frustrating, and Dell says call Adobe, Adobe says call Dell. And now I have software I cannot use. I'd buy it through the website not the actual installed software.

Overall: About four months of great software and now 2 years of purchased software I cannot use.

Pros: PDF is the only type of document that can show us the consistent format of a document across different platform. Adobe Reader is the best software to open these PDF documents. It is stable and concise. No advertisement. It also supports editing and format conversion function which are really useful.

Cons: If we want to convert a PDF file to Word format using Adobe Reader, we have to pay. This is a small and frequently used function. But we have to pay for a pro version for that function. The pro version has a lot of other functions that I don't need. I only just need that specific function.

Pros: You can highlight sections of the document, add text, sticky notes, it is also available for all major operating systems. Your files are very easy to send and receive because they are very light and also inviolable. One of the advantages of using Adobe PDF files is that PDF readers are available for all major operating systems, including Windows, Linux and Mac OS. It is Possible to View These Documents Within Many Web Browsers

Cons: Requires execution of a Plu-gin and Requires the latest versions of the reader also the program must be kept up-to-date because if there are no errors.

Pros: Most frequently, I use acrobat to combine elements exported from various programs. I can insert the various PDFs and organize them into a single document or presentation. It is a very streamlined process compared to other alternatives. I might rely on InDesign as an alternative, but it would be slower and the functions in InDesign would be overkill for the most part. The basic organization and editing features in Acrobat are all that I need in these lightweight document generation applications.

Cons: Occasionally text kerning shrinks while editing a field, so I am required to edit the original document in the program used to generate the content.

Overall: Acrobat allows me to quickly generate documents from new and old content from various other programs.

Pros: The pdf format is an important standard to "lock in" document features, and insure that the read the same way across devices. This version of the software allows for editing, merging, splitting, watermarking, and other features. I work with manuscripts a lot and it's important to be able to do all of these things, and to be able to share the created documents securely.

Cons: I don't have a lot of complaints about this software. I use it fairly regularly and am familiar with how it works. One aspect that is a little confusing is that you can enter the "Edit Text & Images" and there are a variety of items on the task bar to chose from. However, there is *also* an "Edit PDF" drop-down menu with addition choices. I think that people can miss this, because it could be seen as just the title of the task bar. It might be helpful if labelled "More Options" or something to that effect.

Overall: An essential tool for anyone dealing with written materials.

Pros: Acrobat Reader is maybe the only truly complete implementation of Adobe's PDF format. Therefore, it is often a required install when someone needs to fill PDF forms, or use advanced features of the format.

It also comes with a trove of features to fill and annotate documents, which are quite useful for revisions (e.g. when asking someone to proofread a document).

Although I've never used it, there's also an authenticated digital signature feature.

Cons: This completeness comes at the cost of being heavy and slow. What is achieved seemingly effortlessly by macOS's Preview app requires a lot more resources when attempted through Adobe Reader.

The recent versions include a deep "document cloud" integration, which in my opinion is completely useless in a PDF reader. This corresponds to a larger trend of software companies forcibly integrating "services" into their software, making it harder to use as a basic tool.

Pros: Acrobat Reader DC is the most efficient tool for managing my files in PDF format. It is very easy and practical to use. It is very intuitive and allows me to easily locate my PDF files, edit them, read them and copy them. The form filling tool is excellent. I use it in all my electronic devices, Tablet, Desktop, Smart phone.

Cons: I think it could be a little faster and lighter, sometimes it generates slowness in the process of some PDF files. It slows down my computer and it takes a long time to open the PDF files I receive.

Overall: It is free software which allows me to use it on my computer, tablet and smartphone. It offers an excellent experience due to its versatility in handling PDF files. It is very friendly and easy to use. It allows to organize my files and they are easy to search.

Pros: The tool is offered for free and it provides excellent quality when it comes to PDF viewing and reviewing thanks to the possibility to add comments to it.
This feature is extremely useful when we ask a third party to review a PDF so that they can provide their feedback before signing off a given presentation, for example.

Cons: Of course, the main con of the tool is that you can't edit a PDF with it, for that you need the paid version (Acrobat Pro).
Another downside of Acrobat Reader is that it can be a bit slow with some big PDF files if we compare it with other tools.

Pros: Simply put, not having Adobe Reader is unacceptable considering the adaptation of PDF across the world. While I do not use many of the other tools offered in Adobe Reader, my experiences in combining PDF's and stamping/signing have always been positive and without any issues. The ease by which I can select multiple PDF's and combine them has made my life easier for several tasks at work.

Cons: I can't think of a single time where I wasn't able to do what I wanted with PDF's. At the end of the day, Adobe Reader delivers on what it promises and does it precisely.

Pros: It's a fast software that has allowed me to edit PDF documents efficiently and easily. This is a feature that this program develops in a solid and user-saving way, in addition it offers a storage space through your cloud completely free of charge.
Another element of this program that can be highlighted in a positive way is its application for Smartphone whose utility is to scan any document just by taking a photo from your phone.
Last but not least is the incorporation of a robust tool panel, giving us the ability to measure, seal and even customize new tools.

Cons: Perhaps it would be an advantage to make the cloud interface more user-friendly. It would be very useful to improve the resolution of the snapshots since the quality is not the best, but without doubt they are small details to improve.

Overall: The possibility of converting PDF documents into editable ones. And so we can collaborate with others through this function.

Pros: The software is quick to load and accesses your PDF files automatically when selecting. The viewing window can be adjusted to your screen size and the key response time is very quick and accurate. You have a large selection of options that enable you to custom design and edit your PDF files easily.

Cons: The free edition has very limited features but, the options offered are more than enough for the occasional user. Upgrading to one of the premium plans allows for all options to be available and provides you with a greater range of editing.

Pros: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is the best choice today. It's fast and very functional, plus it's design is very nice and intuitive it's an Adobe software we're talking about. And of course, it's free!

Cons: It's a PDF viewer, and not a editor. That's why some people would rather use Foxit, e.g. But if you want an editor, there's Adobe Acrobat, and it's also great and full of options. Acrobat Reader is great in its purpose: a fast, simple PDF viewer.

Pros: The features I like most Adobe Reader is foremost the stability of the brand. All the Adobe software I have used merges with each other. Adobe has made it easier to learn to navigate any new program or app I choose. specifically, Adone Reader is easy to use to view and print files in the PDF format. Additionally if the person creating the PDF set it up with fields, I like the ability to type information directly in the form before I print it. I know there is also the ability to comment on areas of a PDF, though I haven't had the need to use that feature.

Cons: I honestly cannot thing of anything negative about Adobe Reader. Everytime I have used Adobe Reader the outcome has been fantastically great. The Adobe brand is well known in the industry, and specifically Adobe Reader. It has been the standard for anything PDF for years. I have never encounter difficulty using or creating files.
