It's definitely worth having in your business tools arsenal. After bug and formatting fixes it would be top notch. Pros This program is great for converting your existing PDF's to any format needed and does a very good job at doing so. When creating a new PDF, adding form fields is very helpful when sending documents to other clients as they can fill them out easily. Also the multitude of styling options are vast. Cons When adding form fields or font fields you must import a template from another source. You are unable to create a PDF from scratch. Also if you create a pdf, after saving if you reopen the program to edit the form fields the format changes, this makes it difficult if you forgot to add content and need to add it later. It works great for places of employment, businesses, schools, etc. Great overall. Pros The software is easy to use and the images/documents are clear when uploaded. It allows allows the option to review multiple documents at the same time and ease of saving and moving to digital folders as needed. This can be used on laptops/desktops/or some mobile devices, so you can use the software when you travel as well. Cons The only negative feature has been with the updated. The layout used to allow the option to view multiple PDF documents at one time with different tabs for each. Pros I do not generate any expense to download it to the computer, to my tablet, to my phone, it allows me to view the files in pdf format, but I can also convert my files in this format, but the most important thing is that it allows me to combine different pdf files in only one, that makes my work much easier, to manage a single file and not multiple or by sheets. Cons It has happened to me that when I did not update the program every time I save a document I printed the company logo on the upper left, compromising the information in the file. Cons After the latest updates, the PDF reader takes some more time to open a document and sometimes freezes in the process for a moment. As PDF was developed by Adobe itself, it is natural that Acrobat Reader handles PDF files very well; one way this shows is its compatibility with all PDF documents, rarely if ever failing to open or display a PDF. Acrobat Reader also has another benefit, especially compared to other free readers in that it can open other files such as Adobe Illustrator .ai files for viewing, a feature lacking in other 3rd party programs. The program doesn't crash and doesn't lag at all. It does most of the things I need it to do. When I'm in a time crunch, I'd switch over to the Pro version that my manager uses. You can't really go wrong with DC for your pdf files. Pros I use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for all of my legal documents. The software is very easy to use in terms of PDF files. The one thing I like most about it is that it's simple and easy to combine all of my pdf files into one file. Reader DC only allows me to combine pdf files, ie. cannot combine word or excel files. You have to upgrade to the pro version to do that. It's not a big deal as it's easy to convert word and excel files to pdf. If you're not too tech saavy, I'd recommend the pro version. Cons The DC version has some limitations. It's not necessarily a deal breaker, but those limitations will increase work time. For example, I can only combine pdf files and not other formats. Another limitation is I cannot directly edit text in the pdf files. Last but not least, I cannot search specific words I'm looking for in the pdf files. I have been there for all the upgrades and additions. If you have the all in one yearly subscription and do a lot of transactions, sending contracts and designs approvals back and forth its worth the pricing. Its trusted...thats why use and pay for it. Pros Its trusted, reliable and an easy download. there is no guessing that you will be unable to open a PDF attachment or there would be a bug. I wouldn't use any other program. You can add notes, highlight areas for anyone to make corrections. Cons It used to be an all in one program to edit, sign and add files to an existing pdf. Now you have to pay for a monthly or yearly fee and if you have a big operation, it can be a good thing. If you are starting out, it can be costly. Pros Acrobat Reader DC is the best option to manage PDFs. You can comment on a document, type right in the document, electronically sign a document, and so much more. I have the free version and it works great. Cons The functions you can use are great, however they are limited. for example, you can only use 1 font, and cant edit it very well. You can only change the font size, and if you can - I have no idea how and its not clear. However, I do know you can upgrade it and have better subscriptions so maybe that is the case? I am unaware of what the paid subscription includes. Pros The functionality I use most (PRO version) allows you to join many jpgs (or other extensions) in one file in just the desired order. It's great. Annotations are also very useful for sharing any type of document, text or artwork with others. Cons There's nothing I don't like about Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, unless there may be differences between the Pro versions and others. It's invaluable for me sometimes when I need my work done precisely with my signature. I love all the features about it. Pros I love using Acrobat reader for many reasons. I can view the pdf documents from my computer & even from my iphone using Acrobat Reader app. It's easy to download and use. I can sign my pdf documents and comment on pdf documents that I get from my class mates. When I want, I get the pro features by paying for it. Then I can create pdf files, export it to docx file and edit the content. And can save some documents securely buy applying a password to the document so that it can be only viewed by me. Most everything I've needed to do has been perfectly fine. I've needed to use the redact feature once or twice before, but I'm not willing to pay monthly for that just to use it once a blue moon, so I created an image & used an image editor to draw over, then added that image to the PDF. Pros PDF files open easily, you can add notes to them, save screenshots from them & even edit them as needed. Putting together a PDF file for easy sending is also quite easy to do. You can select multiple files, whether image or written documents or other & it will automatically add them for you. Cons To use some certain features that should be available to everyone, you have to pay for it. The bigger problem is that you don't know which features are paid until you click on it & try to use it. The feature should not be visible if it is required to be paid for & you don't own it. Instead it should have a button that says "unlock more features including..." What's even worse is that there's no option to just pay for it, only a monthly subscription.
