### "Obviously the best PDF reader application out there!"

November 20, 2019

4.0

Working in an office where everyone exchanges PDFs this software is indispensable.

Pros

This allows everyone to be able to access PDF documents regardless of skill level. Many of us use the Pro version to create PDFs which are then shared company wide with the use of Reader. Its a basic but very much needed application is day to day office business.

Cons

You need Acrobat Pro to create a pdf this is only a reader. You can print and make attach notes but you cannot create PDFs with reader.

### "Maybe not the best? but it's my choice"

November 7, 2019

4.0

Keeping restricted write copies of formal documents and being able to read them is the main use we give Adobe

Pros

It's been in my nature since I started using PDF files to have a reader, long ago it was acrobat or none, today there are several other alternatives, but I stay with what I'm used to

Cons

Later versions have many features I feel they are somehow useful but I don't feel they are for me, probably when you read books on acrobat, they can be useful, but that's not how I use the software

### "A great upgrade"

January 23, 2019

5.0

Very helpful in getting independent contractors up and running with freeware so they can work from home!

Pros

Reader DC is a great update from regular old Adobe reader. Gets the job done and helps you view the documents you need to see. Quick and easy to install and you install it once and forget about it.

Cons

No negatives besides sometimes if you're using legacy software you have to downgrade back from DC to an earlier version. I hope they work this bug out and make it backwards compatible.q

### "The best PDF reader"

July 16, 2019

5.0

Pros

Adobe Acrobat Reader is an essential software for all tech users and business professionals. The Adobe PDF format is the easiest and fastest way to transmit documents. Not only is this software great for the average person, but it also has accessibility abilities for the hearing impaired (the software can read to you).

Cons

There are frequent updates which can be annoying. Also, to get the full capabilities of Acrobat, you need to upgrade to Acrobat Professional.

### "Easy, practical and fast"

March 14, 2018

5.0

Very useful software to work with PDF Documents.

Pros

Working in HR I manage a lot of documents and the easiest to save for security and for reducing the amount of storages that they need is transforming then into PDF, and reading and edit what I want with AR, it is fast, runs smooth, very practical and the documents are very short, and you search waht you want in a document without problems.

Cons

I had never like it the print optios of AR becuase it reduces, automatically the size of the font and the size of the page and that is very annoying, because every time you are going to print you have to adjust the size of the document.

### "Difficult instillation "

February 4, 2021

4.0

Seeing multiple drawings and document types with one universally available software in multiple countries and languages

Pros

Product is very easy to use and universally accepted format. It also integrates well with global drawing platform that I have used at my last 3 international companies. Makes seeing the information consistent across multiple drawings types and extensions.

Cons

Whenever there is an update to either Acrobat Windchill or Creo it seems to take several weeks for Acrobat to catch up and go back to working as well as before update. Sometimes requiring full reinstall. Also I have Acrobat running on my laptop but it will not allow me to install the full blown Adobe Professional. I will need to uninstall Acrobat several times before I can begin to get Professional to install correctly even though the install process says everything works it won’t be installed

### "Adobe Acrobat Business - A Powerful tool for your Organization"

October 26, 2020

5.0

It has been an absolute must have tool for my business

Pros

This software is super easy to use, there are prompts that guide you along. There are so many features I love with this software. I love that it converts most documents and images to PDF files. It can turn your scanned paper into really smart looking documents, and can also make them fillable and signable.

Cons

You really do have to pay a bit if you want all the functions, but the quality of the software makes up for it

### "Lots of features available to do more with existing PDFs"

July 2, 2018

5.0

Pros

It is much easier to edit and create forms with this newest version of Adobe Reader DC. Lining up form boxes has helpful grid lines attached to your box as you place it, so no more misalignments.

Cons

The free version is very limited, they removed some of the features and put them in the pro version. I have pro, but others in my company do not, so things they used to be able to do easily like insert a page or rotate a scanned image are no longer possible for them. It adds minor (super easy) work for me, which does not bother me but I know my co-workers wish they could just do it themselves like they used to.

### "One of the best applications to read PDF"

December 13, 2018

5.0

I use it always, it is the first applications that I install on my pc, when I have a new one. I even have the version for the mobile, since it allows me to read from the PC and the mobile phone and keep saving the changes that I am generating.

Pros

What I like most is that it is not a simple reader, but allows you to leave your annotations or marks in the document, through the underline or text boxes.

Cons

There is little that I do not like, maybe I had more options to insert stripes or other types of marks in the document.

### "Great for Reading"

January 8, 2019

4.0

Pros

This is an overall solid software for opening and reading PDF files. Simple to use, reliable, not to mention free, it does its job. The option of printing the files is very useful. Using an online conversion tool to, for example, convert a Microsoft Word file to a PDF file, and then viewing it with this software reassures us that all the elements such as font types, sizes, the paragraphs and letter spacing from the original Word file are kept and preserved, regardless on which PC they are viewed from.

Cons

Under very rare and specific conditions it has a tendency to freeze and ultimately collapse, needing to then restart the program entirely. When that happens sometimes the process of the program is still running in the background and needs to be terminated in the Task Manager to be properly restarted.

### "PDF Leader"

May 20, 2019

5.0

Pros

Acrobat Reader DC helps you manage and create and edit secure, clean pdf files. The program is easy to use and highly adaptable to whatever task you're doing. I love the ability to docusign, edit and organize as well as the feature that allows you to convert the format to/from Web, Excel, Word etc.

Cons

The program seems to use a lot of data and sometimes will crash when I'm exporting a pdf to Microsoft Word or trying to open a pdf. It also is rather expensive.

### "Become slower in latest version"

January 1, 2020

3.0

Pros

Last time it used to be useful and fast under Window 7, however when I recently upgraded my PC to Window 10 and new version of Adobe Reader, it becomes extremely slow. Only thing good is that it allows multiple windows or tabs opening (yet to be proven useful too though).

Cons

Latest version is way to slow and lagging. Multiple windows or tabs are dragging the whole user experience too as user like me has used to the previous style of closing each window myself.

### "Reliable Software to View PDF Files"

May 4, 2019

5.0

I have witnessed colleagues get in trouble by students manipulating documents, and that problem has only increased over the years. However, nobody has had that issue with documents that have been viewable from Acrobat. For example, email has been manipulated. I use this when I want to put out information, and I want to be sure it is being delivered in a format that discourages fraud.

Pros

I have been using Acrobat for years, and it has always been a reliable tool. Professionally, I have been utilizing it more lately to share scans of documents with students (or colleagues) that I want to be sure they cannot edit.

Cons

Although this could be a coincidence, it always feels like there is a longer-than-normal delay when opening documents in this program. Once it's open, I can easily open others. The lag appears to be from booting up the program the first time. This is definitely not a deal breaker.

### "on of the top option in PDF World"

December 25, 2020

5.0

In my case, after trying some others, I have stayed with this one for several important aspects such as stability, simplicity and acceptance

Pros

Of all the similar options, this is the simplest and easiest to use and the most seen on all computers.

Cons

It is a bit limited compared to the other options on the market in terms of tools

### "The Best"

December 3, 2019

5.0

When using Acrobat Reader DC for my art I can easily organize and manage all of my drawings in one program. I can create and manipulate files in one program instead of trying to run multiple programs. Saving my pages in PDF format also makes it easier to share with others to get my name out there and makes it easier for others to save and view my files because everyone has some way of opening PDFs. Being able to lock the files is also very good because then anyone I share with can't manipulate files I share with them.

Pros

There are many features with Acrobat Reader DC. Viewing, manipulating, creating and managing files has never been so easy. It is a software that you can always rely on.

Cons

The only thing I could possibly think of that I like least about Acrobat Reader DC is that the free version doesn't have some of the cool features that Document Cloud has. But it is worth every penny.

### "A Solid Performer!"

August 23, 2019

5.0

This software comes in handy as I have to frequently E-mail documents to employees for signature. We have sales personnel that work all southeastern states and while they are traveling, I frequently have to E-mail them documents for signature. Suffice to say, this saves me a lot of time and stress!

Pros

I especially appreciate the ability to edit, convert, and scan documents at a highly efficient rate.

Cons

I have not experienced any negatives when using this product. Its ability to edit, convert and scan documents is second to none.

### "Acrobat Reader, you can read it"

April 18, 2019

4.0

Acrobat Reader is a great PDF files viewer. Has compatibility with complex functions like macros and forms. But it's a reader. This means that you can only read files, fill forms and print them. Doesn't allow you to modify in any way the PDF files or their behaviors. However, it's a great tool considering the compatibility with advanced functions.

Pros

\- It's easy to use - Has a lot of plugins that works with several applications - It's free

Cons

\- Sometimes, could seem heavy in comparison with other tools - Some embedded fonts can cause issues

### "PDF compatible"

December 11, 2019

4.0

I don't even remember when I started using it but it is really helpful to read PDF and to take de notes

Pros

Acrobat reader is one of those apps you have and you don't even notice it because it has been on your PC for so long and you have used it so often than I literally don't know any other app to open .pdf files

Cons

The feature of putting notes alongside with the texts should be improved as it is not easy to get familiar with when the app is really based on familiarity and easy using.

### "The most useful PDF tool there is"

November 25, 2019

5.0

It's extremely useful daily in our office for preparing Quick Software Guides, Datasheets and all of the different types of documents that usually ended up printed.

Pros

The ability to edit, merge, redact or change your PDF document in any way or form is the most you can ask from this kind of software. Also recognizing text from non-editable PDF documents is amazing!

Cons

One thing that is missing is translating the document language. You will not find this in the software and extra tools are required.

### "ADOBE ACROBAT DC IS PERFECT FOR ANY COMPANY"

January 21, 2020

5.0

Will use and continue to use AAR DC for many more years to come. Especially useful to my work and some personal work.

Pros

Easy to use for work and home. Most companies I work with use Adobe acrobat and can be open most of the time. Can add notes or comments. Ability to add stamp as signature. Can easily combine multiple files in 1.

Cons

I wish I can create blocks like bluebeam. Sometimes I have to recreate polygon lines for my architectural work and with AA DC I have to create it everytime.
