“Cisco Network Assistant with phone network”

OverallThis system is very useful for making phone calls internally within a large company and can also be handy to use as a messaging system.
ProsIt is very handy to have all of our company's staff easily accessibly through this system. Even if you don't know their extension, you can search their name call them immediately from there, and more than one phone number can be associated with them, so staff can also have their mobile number linked to their name. I also like the messaging system that Cisco has.
ConsI'm not sure if it is a setting that can be changed, but when picking up the phone receiver, a new window opens which can sometimes cause problems if I am typing while answering the phone or going to make a call.

“Superb software and best way to manage the organization networks.”

ProsCisco Network Assistant is an outstanding software. It is really very simple to administer and it connects with other devices too easily. It's most interesting features includes the graphical interface that enables to verify further so as to give detail information for developing different typologies. One can easily and safely communicate with other devices with the help of this software.
ConsWhen I talk about cons, this software is really helpful but a few flaws includes that it is mostly present in SmartNet contract, it is unable to scan all Cisco devices due to which one has to concern with others to overcome this issue. Sometimes problems occur with a few versions of operating systems but this issue is manageable.

“The best choice for big data companies”

ProsI believe it is the best choice for wired and wireless network management. It comes with a lot of options to manage your network, great dashboard and consoles for monitoring everything related to your network.
ConsYou need good networking knowledge in order to use this tool. The price makes it hard choice for small companies.

“Cisco Network Assistant - Stick to the CLI”

OverallSometimes its nice to get a quick visual of the software or a graph but there are other tools that do this. However if you are not strong on the CLI or prefer a "point n' click" option this works... for the most part. Make sure to read the compatibility list.
ProsThere is a nice visualization of the switch ports and CDP neighbor map. In addition there are some graphing and troubleshooting that is easy to do within the software
ConsThe software was a bit buggy and required admin access to run as well as constantly logging into to CCO. Some of the features were lacking and or deeply hidden and in addition some features could not be configured on this software and must be done via the CLI (like port channels).

“Managing the organization networks”

ProsThe product allows me to manage both wired and wireless networks with an ease, the product is very intuitive and well informative. In addition, the product is free, comparing to other products on the market.
ConsThe product is Cisco property only, meaning that other non-Cisco network and security device cannot be managed by this product.

“For All The Network Engineers ”

ProsDuring my school days. I participated in the Cisco training and I was exposed to how Cisco Network has been impacting so much in our life. With the help of this device, you can network more than two systems together at the same time. If you're a student or an engineer. You can purchase the router or switch.
ConsWith the help of a packet tracer, you can run a live stimulation of your project either room or office networking. It's safe and reduces stress.
