Principle Mental Health Care Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Too Simple" May 28, 2018 3.0 Pros System is fine for if you need a basic EHR for little cost. The name says it all - EHR has "canned" responses so user never has to manually develop their own content. Cons Not ideal for individualized care. Program is very basic and therefore not recommended for intensive programs, or programs that require specific clinical information. Review Source BG Bess G. It is easy to navigate and works better than the other program I use! Pros I've been using ICANotes for almost 5 years. I have a (mostly) solo LTC and ALF practice. I am able to work on site or do progress notes later in my office. ICANotes creates a narrative note that is readable and thorough. I get lots of compliments on my documentation and I feel more confident in my coding. Customer service is excellent. Pros I have been searching for a behavioral health EMR system for over a year. Once I came across ICANotes, I couldn't believe how easy it was to use. I am now spending less time on progress notes and intake assessments which allows me more time to spend seeing clients. I would definitely recommend ICANotes to any clinician looking to go paperless. May 17, 2016 1.0 Pros I can't say I like anything best about the product, it would meet our needs if they could increase the speed of the program and make the Schedule portion usable. You can make custom buttons. Con's: The calendar view is not friendly and does not adjust with the scroll button. Customer service is useless! Information is inconsistent from rep-rep. They have NO idea of how to transfer your records if you need to stop or transfer their service. They seemed clueless of how to transfer data. They were unable to transfer records from a group practice without having to recreate the entire record. Waste of time. I do not recommend. The ease and functionality of the electronic health system is helpful for new employees. Also, the availability to create customized areas that are suited to your company's needs is superb! Last but not least, the customer service is amazing! I can make one call and do not have to be on hold for several minutes and you can also live chat for better assistance. The support team are very patient and knowledgeable about the software. The trainers are very good. My training experience with our rep has been so helpful and supportive. We told him we credit ICANotes. He said to give some credits to ourselves. The program is very user friendly for the therapists. Although it's set up for mental health and not for an autism clinic, occasionally this I've found it easy to add functions. occasionally this is a great system.
