### "Best For Continuous Integration and Development"

May 3, 2020

5.0

The best option you can use for CI (Continuous Integration) and CD (Continuous Development).

Pros

Like it holds whole add-ons that you can enable for Jenkins. You can schedule anything on how would you like to do so, and it doesn’t waste your time. Configurations are easy, and reporting also is a big advantage, you can find what you’re looking for.

Cons

Jenkins version and some Add-On versions may mismatch sometimes so you may need to update your Jenkins time to time. The tool is easy but you need time to get used to it.

### "best open source CI/CD"

March 14, 2018

5.0

Flexibility of configuration and hardware usage as well as in-house keep of code and technologies

Pros

Jenkins with the big set of plugins allows you to build and customize your CI/CD pipelines specifically for your needs. Its really powerful and flexible at the same time. With the new blueocean interface everything its much clean. Pipelines as its new job definition allows you manage the build as code

Cons

The new blueocean interface needs some work, better usage of spaces and bring back execution queue as the old UI

### "Best CI/CD tool in the market "

August 1, 2022

5.0

Pros

The ease of triggering Deployment builds are made really quick and easy . PR builds are triggered automatically once the PR is raised which reduces the time for the developers. Integration with sonarqube , bitbucket was easy. Mails sent to the developers after the build is useful .

Cons

The UI/UX of Jenkins is pretty old , some changes to the Jenkins UI would be appreciated . Viewing the console logs of the build could also be made easier .

### "Jenkins"

March 21, 2019

5.0

Jenkins is an integral part of our testing environment. Jenkins is the hub that connects our dev code to test machines and devices. It enables us to seamlessly deliver code that automatically triggers build jobs which then trigger test jobs. The number of man hours saved is immeasurable at this point. If you aren't using Jenkins in the testing world, you need to start - even if automated testing is not in your ecosystem yet.

Pros

Once configured, alleviates most of daily monotony of testing

Cons

There is a small curve of learning how to configure jobs and agent machines.

### "CICD Made Easy - Jenkins"

December 29, 2022

4.0

Code CICD, SonarQube integration, unit testing, etc.

Pros

\- Simple user-friendly UI/UX- Integrates well with Bitbucket, GitHub, and RLM- Very detailed console logs for application debugging

Cons

\- To find out the exact progress of the pipeline, one needs to go through the console logs and UI just shows build progress without mentioning the steps already done or will be done- Sometimes build doesn't start for a long time due to server busyness

### "Vulnerabilty but Versatility "

July 9, 2021

5.0

I used this cloud server and slave agent manager when I was building and deploying for a VR environment.

Pros

Written in java and based in open source code, Jenkins was a breeze to use! The community and widespread reach made it versatile and easy to use! Features were very robust and it was easy to upgrade.

Cons

The ubiquitousness of this program makes it's open source code a security vulnerability, it also was difficult to move from server to server, which limited its usefulness overall.

### "the best tool for continues integration set up"

June 9, 2020

5.0

Jenkins help to build different branches on every language, also can run builds automatically, so its really saves time.

Pros

Jenkins is very convenient tool which helps to build project builds automatically, so its like a platform which different IT companies can use for configure their environment and build builds and automating any project.

Cons

I didnt find any drawbacks, because this is open source tool so you can use it for free or if you wanna get some more plugins you can buy it.

### "Good continuous engineering tool with poor documentation"

July 24, 2018

4.0

Daily automated tasks no longer take up much time. Just review the results and see what happened.

Pros

It has good integration with just about every DevOps tool I've known. It's easy to set up and configure. The logs and system reviews are extremely thorough.

Cons

Since most plugins are community-created, the support between versions and documentation of them is sketchy. I've broken the server several times after updating either plugins or the server itself (compatibility issues?)

### "Jenkins Continuous Integration"

January 8, 2020

5.0

The experience has been throughly satisfying so far

Pros

Jenkins is a revolutionary software in the IT industry that has helped establish CI/CD pipeline in many enterprise organizations. It has integration with many other platforms like gradle, SVN, GIThub etc using plugin offerings

Cons

There is nothing to dislike about this software as it has helped make my life easier to run build after every code commit by developers . This ensures that code is in stable condition

### "Super easy platform to use for QA testing and automation"

November 8, 2022

5.0

I use Jenkins daily in my job as a QA engineer. It's great for everything from manual QA testing, to monitoring, and all tasks in between.

Pros

Jenkins was one of the easiest pieces of software for me to learn during my QA engineering career. It's been a pleasure using it.

Cons

I haven't been able to explore all the features is has, so I think it's been more limited for me. Perhaps I should do more to look at features outside of my current job duties.

### "Widely supported and robust automation system"

April 2, 2020

5.0

Optimal, I strongly suggest it as an essential tool in your SW development process

Pros

Personally what I think is the biggest value of Jenkins is the possibility to really customise any kind of process relatively easily. Also there is a big community of devs using it and lot of addons. If I had to choose which automation server to use I'd surely go for it.

Cons

Sometimes it gets stuck and heavy customisation is not always straightforward

I am pretty much happy to work with it.

Pros

1\. It's a most powerful CI tool used now a day's. 2. We can execute our development and automation jobs very smoothly and can share reports among the team member. 3. It's a good quality product used by developer, automation engineer and devops team members.

Cons

1\. It's a bit complex for a naive user to understand console error. 2. We should have few prior technical knowledge to understand job configuration part.

### "Does the job"

September 7, 2021

3.0

Pros

Whatever I want to do on my CI server, I can achieve it with Jenkins. This is the most battle tested solution that I know.

Cons

UI is very outdated, even with the blue ocean in place, which has very limited features. This is part of the reason why my company switches to a new ci server that provides a more modern approach.

### "Guide to Automation"

May 11, 2021

5.0

As a software developer we used to deploy our builds to multiple servers and it was very hectic and lengthy process; thanks to open source tools like Jenkins the process has become quick and smooth.

Pros

I like the CI/CD feature as a Developer, gone are the days for manual deployment in multi-server environments. It has after development tasks very simple.

Cons

I believe there is a little bit of learning curve but once one becomes familiar, work life becomes very smooth.

### "Jenkins for the world"

November 11, 2021

5.0

Pros

This can help you build your CI pipelines and manage/monitor them easily

Cons

plugin integration can be a pain. There are too many, there are problems while upgrading one and then they can break your pipelines, if a breaking change was introduced. In other words, it's hard to keep the Jenkins server updated.

### "A good CD tool in need of a face lift"

April 29, 2022

4.0

Good overall experience, as my main issues with this tool are things I wish were done better.

Pros

It achieves its objective well, streamlining our CD pipeline, making deployments trivial

Cons

The UI is unfriendly, and in serious need of a face lift. It is also difficult to customise what each user wants to see at a glance, making for unnecessary clicks.
