March 4, 2025 5.0 Almost always fantastic! I love the customer support!! Pros The ease of the website, the help functions and not having to go back and forth with an agent all the time. You can see things in real time, booking is right away and the cost is right there to compare! Cons In the hotel section, you can't read reviews of the properties, so I often go to my phone to check reviews. Switched from [Travel Agency Tools](https://www.capterra.com/p/141407/Travel-Agency-Tools/) One of the major reasons we switched was the hotels that were supposed to be prepaid were not prepaid and the guests were then at the hotel having to pay for rooms that they thought were already pre paid. Java Developer Information Technology and Services Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Company is dishonest and lacks transparency in its fees" January 20, 2025 1.0 I had a trip of 2 flights and 2 train tickets. In the return, I decided to not use the train, then I cancelled the ticket one day before in order to get the refund. The price of the train ticket was 21.70 euros. At no moment I received any kind of warning about any fees regarding this cancellation. Then I cancelled. Only later, I saw in the platform that a 39 euros FlexiPerk fee was charged and I wasn't not warned anytime. That's absurd for a platform to have such shady behavior. In what world a person would pay 39 euros to have a refund of 21? The platform lacks honesty and clarity with its users. I talked through the chat and they said it's part of their policies and nothing could be done. So they should review their policies or at least be transparent warning the users if they really want to pay to cancel anything on an order. Pros The platform is simple and intuitive, easy to search. Employees can manage and book their own trips directly on the platform, which gives them more autonomy and significantly reduces the administrative workload. Cons Prices can sometimes be higher than those available directly from airlines, hotels, or other booking platforms. It would be great to see more competitive pricing across the platform. I have no complains about the user experience, the rates, the customization, the support team. I booked trips for individual employees, groups and myself, and the experience has been always positive. Pros The user experience is very positive: the navigation, the steps when you create an event, a trip, when you invite a new user or archive an old one. Is very easy to complete your settings and deploy your company policies and approval steps.There's a special kudos for the support team: changes, cancellations, time modifications, dates, upgrades... all these are very common, but the support team is always there to help you by chat, by email and they always have a solution. Cons Basically, there's nothing to complain about. THe product is always growing, the product team is available to receive comments and chat about new features and impressions. With a couple of clicks, my whole trip is settled, and I don't have to pay for it - my company does it for me directly. Pros The greatest thing about TravelPerk for me is that I don't need to pay for my business trips on my own and then get reimbursed. I also enjoy the option to use Concierge when a TravelPerk team member books a trip for me using my Airbnb account as a third party. It's great that I don't need to do anything really - just check-in and enjoy my stay. Cons Sometimes the prices shown on the Map search do not match the actual prices shown further on the hotel tab.
