I don't need to coding for network design. Besides, it can be used to train state-of-the-art model and large scale of data since its training speed is very fast. The component modularity of Caffe also makes it easy to expand new models. Cons At first, Caffe was designed to only focus on images without supporting text, voice and time sequence. As a result, it is true that Caffe supports well to Convolutional Neural Network, but not good at supporting time sequence RNN, LSTM. In addition, the design pattern based on Layers is not friendly to RNN.
