Pros: Notejoy makes it very easy to collaborate with teams and stay on top of key documents. I tend to use it as a replacement to Evernote and Google Docs - it's much better for sharing, commenting, and working together than the former and more structured, organized, and powerful than the latter.

It's easy to create notes and update them, file and organize them, and invite people in and see their edits, revisions, comments, and suggestions. Even in a large document, Notejoy makes it simple to call a teammate's attention to a specific passage that's most relevant to them, and a sidebar allows for a running conversation across team members.

I've largely ditched other note-taking and collaboration software and moved all my workflows over to Notejoy and have enjoyed using it for the past year, and highly recommend it in both professional and personal settings.

Cons: There are always more features being rolled out and the team behind the product is quite responsive and attentive. Given I travel frequently and don't always have access to internet, I'm hopeful that Notejoy will be able to accommodate offline access. However, given 90% of my time is in a connected environment, it's not usually an issue.

Pros: With Notejoy, we're able to all throw ideas on a page while we're working and not stop everything for a meeting. The collaborative functionality of it is what is really wonderful. We can keep documentation for processes in one place and see when it's updated and by whom. The metrics provided are really a neat touch.

Mobile use is much easier than some of the same players in the space. It's also very quick and easy to use in a hurry, unlike another service we used that always seemed laggy and resulted in people just staring at something load during a meeting and breaking the rhythm.

Compared to what we were using, it's much more structured and organized. We've moved all our notes and documents over from other platforms to Notejoy.

Cons: Notejoy is great and I don't really have any cons to list. With many collaborative tools like this, the hardest part is getting everyone on your team to stick to it and not fall back into old habits. It's not something I need, but I could see some employees needing constant reminders to use/update/reference the notes.

Overall: I get the piece of mind that all my information isn't just on my device in the event of a loss/accident with my personal machine. I also get the real-time feedback/notes/questions from my team. When we're all throwing in on a note or document while in our own workspace at our own pace, it makes getting larger projects complete a much less stressful event.

Pretty good for managing my large family's various information sharing needs... when they use it.

Pros: I like that it works with Mac and PC, phones, tablets, and laptops; pretty much every device we use can access Notejoy. In theory this should make it easy for my family members to centralize important data (household repairs, grocery lists, important phone numbers, documentation for the January car accident, etc).

Cons: I'll start by saying that I'm not your typical user my application is for a large family, not a business. You will probably have less resistance to learning a new tool than I have faced. That said, it's yet another thing to learn, and learning is hard. My people just aren't using it - they'll come up and ask me for information that I've already spent time entering into Notejoy, and when I tell them where they can find the information, they complain that they don't know how to use it. We are not talking about small children here, but a 60-year old elder and a 20-year old college student, who are both otherwise on their devices a lot. I don't know why they won't use it.

I've also had some extremely frustrating moments trying to put images into a document without anything working or even acknowledging that there's a problem. (Both my iPhone and 2017 MacBook Air failed to insert the images).

Pros: The ease of use, collaboration , annotation, search, team-space and tracking features are great. Adding table feature would have been useful.

Cons: I am unable to influence folks to adopt this though there is lots of advantages but it does not motivate folks enough to adopt. May be more awareness and evangelism will help. Last time I had tried I was very close to starting the use at LinkedIn however we got stuck at Penn test for security team.

Overall: Part of Engineering team - Engineering Productivity, collaboration, getting stuff done and quick alignment across cross-functional teams.

This tool needs more evangelism and may be good to be introduced at enterprise level. Can be partnered with other enterprise tools available like Aha, Jira etc. Once it is introduced I am sure people will stick to it. I feel another great use-case is analysts and data scientists work on sharing their analysis work. So, integrating this tool with Jupyter notebook, slack etc from engineering use-case would help. Also other visual analytics tools out there ... may be tableau... basically sharing an analysis and getting alignment quickly.

Pros: Absolutely love the fact that we can now organize all of the notes across our team, have it sync'd, and let everyone collaboratively work on a document at the same time. It's less cumbersome than Google Docs (although we do add GDoc links to Notejoy still) and more team-friendly / collaborative than Evernote.

The concept of "group notes" is so obvious but only until we started using NoteJoy did we realize it was an issue with all of us taking separate notes (duplicate notes) in separate locations. Now we can keep it all in one place.

Cons: Like all new software, it takes a bit of time to convince your coworkers to switch over from another platform. Once you do, though, it makes keeping track of all project related tasks and documents much simpler.

Would love an offline mode too, but I think that's coming soon.

Overall: Group note taking and the ability to keep track of our important ideas all in one place.

Notejoy has been incredibly helpful for our company's organization and accessing information.

Pros: The search functionality is what I like most about Notejoy. We've created a repository of important company information and it's amazing how easy it is to find with a quick search. Previously, with everything just in google drive, it was a nightmare to find anything. The transparency of information that this has afforded our company is really great!

Cons: We don't use the comments too often. I feel like there is room to make that even better integrated with the sharing of content and that could take the product to the next level. But otherwise, no specific complaints.

Pros: It's a very capable WYSIWYG team note taking app, rivaling yet still staying well clear of being a full-fledged word processor by providing only two HTML heading styles and no typeface/font choices -- in many ways a good thing, because excessive formatting capabilities can get in the way of doing the actual work of writing things down.

Cons: It doesn't give ANY control over typeface or default font, though you can use the zoom capabilities on the view menu of the desktop app or of your browser to change the size of the display. Also, it's hard to understand where this app fits into the business world, especially because it allows embedding of Google and Microsoft documents -- if you have those things already (especially Office 365 in the case of Microsoft), would you really turn to an external app when Google Docs (and Sheets and Slides, etc.) are already part of your world? Unlike an online whiteboard app, for instance, a passable (if somewhat pale) substitute for Notejoy already exists in your office software suite. I'm currently using it with friends whom I no longer work with, so Google Docs is less of an obvious option, and in this case Notejoy truly provides a capability that makes more sense than what we already had easily available, because it's a single location rather than having to share individual Google docs from personal accounts to a random (from Google's point of view) group of Gmail users.

Pros: Very clean design makes it easy to use and intuitive to navigate. It makes a for a pretty slick knowledge base. Collaboration features are top notch and it is very easy to communicate. The easily accessible separate team and personal libraries are a great feature. It is very easy to attach documents from other systems (MS, Google, etc.)

Cons: There are dozens of worthy competitors in this space and some others fit better for me. Difficult to say that Notejoy provides something unique or better when compared to similar apps (Quip, Dropbox Paper, Box Notes, Coda, Notion, Zenkit, Slite, Stiki, Google Docs.)There is no native Android app.

Overall: Although there are a significant number of apps occupying roughly the same space, Notejoy is probably the easiest to use with the least amount of learning curve. It is also very fast, reliable, and cleanly designed. I have not used Notejoy as much as I thought I would and have actually chosen a competing product for regular use. That said, I would not hesitate to recommend Notejoy. It is definitely toward the top of the list for these content collaboration and knowledge creation style tools.

Pros: Very easy and intuitive and an agile UI. And it is very close to what I want - One size fits all. It has been designed to accommodate all kind of industry needs.

Cons: Not an outstanding tool that is different from other free/paid tool available in the market. Requires a strong commitment from the team to adopt the tool. can't be integrated with some apps used frequently by users.

Pros: All the right features. I wanted a cloud based note application which supported Markdown along with support of Markdown tables. And Notejoy meets all of that. The other great thing about Notejoy is the rich text editor. Although I have used Notejoy only on Windows, I believe since the client is based on Electron I guess it would also be supported on Mac & Linux. All in all I can say its a great application. Provides me an easy way to sync rich text documents across multiple machine. Kudos to the product management team and the developers coming out with such an application. Its pure joy to use Notejoy!!!

I would definitely recommend everyone to give it a try.

Cons: I really did not find anything bad about the Notejoy, hence nothing to write about any cons over here.

Overall: 1. A single utility to manage notes in rich markdown text across multiple machines.
2. Easy to use and saves time.

Point 2 is something a must have feature for me.

Pros: I like that it's easy to take notes, organize your files. It's a faster version of Evernote, and a lot snappier. I enjoy most of it's functions, specially that you can copy paste almost any kind of file. It's also very fast compared to other note taking apps

Cons: If you're offline, it won't work. I don't know if it's a bug or if it's something they plan on resolving, but it's as annoying as google docs when you're offline. Sometimes I want to check my notes while on the plane or simply right something while being offline, with Notejoy you can't do that yet.

Overall: For me it was a change for good from other note taking apps such as google Keep or evernote. Also it's built on the purpose of sharing. Although I use it on a more personal note, i love that it is way faster than evernote, and also that the tech support team is always there. I wrote about a new functionality (being able to create tables) and the CEO answered me! not only that, but they told me about their roadmap and releases, which for me was very helpful.

Pros: I like Notejoy's user interface, easy to use and very intuitive. I can check all of my notes at one glance and is my go-to tool for my day to day activities.

Cons: Maybe I suggest they get a mobile application in partnership with their browser-based tool. It would be nice to write notes on the go and sync with the cloud.

Overall: Fast and easy to use. Little to no learning curve so it benefits a huge team when implemented in a company or division.

Cons: Minor bugs at reconnection when I lost internet, and I'm waiting for my Linux client! Ahah ;-)

Pros: The organization of notebooks and ability to share and access documents with my team is very useful. It makes it easy to create and share templates for emails and other documents.

Pros: Nicely structured and organized. Smooth On boarding.

Easy to create notes, Ammend them and share the file and invite people in and see their edits and suggestion/comments history. The runnning conversation on the sidebar makes it easy to quickly check what the suggestion is, in a large document.

Cons: No Offline Mode. The Mobile app needs a lot of work.
I was using this to share notes and I really dont see it being very different from Evernote, Keep and the other tools that I have used. Do not see an apparent change in the time spent to edit, collobaorate on a document. It is easier but not good enough.

The COST - It is difficult to pay this price when there are free versions of other apps that do a similar job.

Overall: None really. It is just easy to use but I'd rather spend a few more minutes on Google Keep, Evernote and save some money.

Pros: For someone whose team relied on google docs as a means to share team notes, NoteJoy has been a blessing in disguise! Getting organized as a team was nothing short of frustrating before NoteJoy came along. With Notejoy, we now have a single, well-organized place to collaborate, store, and share knowledge. The tool allows us real-time editing by multiple users, it has slack integration, and also notifies us about who has viewed/added to documents.

Cons: Sometimes the live revision history seems like too much overkill for documents that are undergoing frequent changes. Although my small team of 4 is using Notejoy actively, sadly there is low buy in from other teams.

Pros: The UX is very friendly and neat, not clumsy like other text editors. Easy to organize your notes and quickly jot down some thoughts, and then share them with your team (or even your spouse, as I do). The team behind and the support team are very nice and open to suggestions, so the product is becoming more and more what users really need.

Cons: The Android app is still under development, but I'm sure it'll be great when it comes out. They are also adding new features all the time, so the few features that Notejoy still needs (like offline editing, or note linking) will be added soon.

Pros: True to its namesake, Notejoy has brought joy to taking notes. While my first instinct was "why wouldn't I just keep using Google docs," it only took creating & sharing my first note to fully appreciate how much cleaner, simpler, more shareable, and all-around more enjoyable this experience is.

If you've ever been frustrated at how annoying it is to share things on Evernote, or at how difficult it is to find things in Google Docs, Notejoy is exactly the solution for you!!

Pros: The tool has got the feel of slack channels, but meant for documents. Each channel can be accessed by a specific set of people, a project team or the whole company including a private space for your own documents. The tool facilitates real time document editing with your team members. One can review documents and give feedback via threaded comments. In the documents dashboard, one can preview and pin most recently updated documents, most recently viewed documents which makes it easy to keep tabs of activities within teams. The search feature enables easily locating files.

Cons: No major cons as of now. When I tried this we were already using a competitor product. Wouldn't mind switching over to this tool someday. It's just something that the team has to be comfortable with.

Overall: Huge productivity benefits - savings in time, stress from having to remember where documents are as well as the potential ability to on-board new people much faster and transition team members who are leaving the project smoothly.

4. HTML option for those who want more control.
5. Multi-level collaboration.
6. Provides a fast and focused workspace.
7. Ease of attachments and in-app viewer.

Cons: 1. Needs more export formats (e.g. Word).
2. Still a few bugs.

Pros: I really like the ease in creating notes across several function-based notebooks I created for my product-engineering-design team.
Plus really liked the integration with Trello so that I could get enough exposure on both the to-do list and current tasks pending on my Trello board.

Cons: Three key factors:
- Task-based action completion needs a gentle push from the Notejoy team proactively.
- I found key tasks to be done in near future requires significant effort from searching across notes.
- Very less reference notes that are shared by the team. TRELLO/ Google Docs/ Sheets does a great job in ramping up the user activity by sharing well-designed notes for functions like engineering, design, technology, bug reporting, task completion

Overall: I really liked to quickly create some key discussion points and to-do lists before I review the next product feature.
Good for reviewing stuff while doing retrospectives meeting

I have been using this platform for project management and have found it very helpful.

Pros: We can create different projects and add the team member to communicate with them properly. We can also remove people from specific projects we do not to share the information with. We can also assign tasks to particular teams and people who are responsible to manage the projects.

Cons: Nothing as such. This is a very useful platform as we can also assign tasks to particular teams and people who are responsible to manage the projects.

Overall: Managing project tasks has been easy since we started using notejoy.

Pros: Its simple structure, easy to use and very operational. Unlimited opportunities for things to do on a page.

Pros: The best thing about Notejoy is the intuitive interface and ability to share your notes with colleagues. They are also constantly releasing new features which make taking and organizing your notes even easier.

Cons: There are still some bugs they need to work out, and the organizational structure of notes could be more intuitive. I would love to be able to collapse note folders!

Pros: Note making is easy and collaboration even better. The primary value-add is the clean UI. It helps make notes in a crisp manner. Sharing views with teammates on a plethora of topics is also smooth.

Cons: The flow is a bit confusing. It took me time to figure out all the key functionalities. This could be made smoother with a better onboarding process.

Pros: It's organized and relatively easy to find documents. The learning curve is very quick. The interface is straightforward and easy to navigate. I like that it integrates with Slack and surfaces documents that people might not know exists. I also appreciate the Google Docs integration

Cons: It's very difficult to manipulate images in the text editor. Overall the editor is pretty bare bones, which works fine for simple notes or code but gets tough when fancier formatting is needed. Pros: The UI is sleek and simple so getting productive on it easy as ever. Multiple types of Uploads are supported which can help the team rely less on Email and Slack. Sharing is built in and it works flawlessly.

Cons: The pricing is a bit of either use me completely or ignore me completely. I want to use Notejoy personally as well as professionally and that is sort of not possible with the pricing.

Overall: Notejoy makes documentation a breeze and allows your peers to collaborate on it just as easily.

Good for a bit but became hard to use with multiple people at a time.

Pros: I liked the app and webapp portions of it. I liked the similarity to Evernote as I use that quite a lot, so it was easy to pick up and use. Customer service seemed top-notch from what I heard, although I never had to personally use it.

Cons: The syncing between other team members was not very good. We had it constantly go offline or not update for some people so we'd very often have people writing on top of each other and it became a mess. It also seemed to slow down a lot as the document got bigger.

Handy tool to organize your thoughts when you are on the go. As I write a lot, Notejoy is my help.

Pros: It is very user friendly and simple. It allows you to work with many different sources and formats. Also it can be used on multiple devices while you gather notes.

Cons: Not sure. Thus far I did not bump into something I didn't like. Perhaps the design doesn't look as sophisticated as apps like Evernote, but that doesn't change its power.

Overall: As a writer this product helps me to streamline the process. Often I get an idea somewhere but I am not sure where to collect them efficiently.

Notejoy is a simple way to keep on track and collaborate with your peers on projects.

Pros: Notejoy is a great way to view the notebooks with your peers and collaborate on project next steps that way. A different take on sharing that doesn't get lost in the shuffle.

Cons: There are many similar tools out there like GoogleDrive (Docs, sheets, slides, etc), Evernote, Slack, etc, that allow for open communication, and getting team members to adopt the new offering was tricky.

Overall: Team collaboration on projects and staying up to date with your to-do lists.

Really good tool for team collaboration but still some more way to go!

Pros: Very clean UI that helps focus on the text/document that is being worked on. Easy to organize documents into a notebook. A quick view of how many people have seen it and easy to access sidebar to see any comments or chat with the team.

Cons: The current functionality is very limited and still doesn't justify migrating from Evernote or Google Docs to Notejoy. Still missing that one big functionality to justify the migration.

Simple, clean UI for collaborating efficiently in a team.

Pros: Have moved some of my activity from GDocs to Notejoy as opposed to moving them to Evernote. Really enjoy the ability to collaborate and leave comments.

Evernote for me is a combo between google docs, Evernote, and Asana.

Cons: Don't like the fact that if the internet connection drops, I lose action to my files. I should be able to edit locally and have my updates uploaded when I finally get an internet connection.

Pros: I like the layout of the OSX app. It looks like Evernote, except I can easily share my documents with my team members. It's easy for me to see what my team members are working on.

Cons: I wish NoteJoy can differentiate from Evernote a bit more. Maybe if it supported syntax highlighting for code, supported a quick way to upload and crop images, and made the task of writing a bit more enjoyable, that would be better.

Pros: I like the fact that it's available across all the devices I use. I use Windows at work and Mac at home. I do some work on my iPad occasionally too. I use iPhone on the road. It's important I can access the information anytime I needed.

Cons: I don't have much bad thing to say about Notejoy. I have enjoyed using it so far. Probably some UI tweak will help to make it more modern.

Overall: It makes my work a lot more productive

Pros: Search is the my favourite part of the software. It has eased the pain of worrying about misplacement within folders. I really hope to see

Cons: Its very hard to pick an answer for this as most things are amazing about the tool. However, I would like the tutorials to be more educative of various capabilities.

Overall: Great organisation capabilities. Great communication within features within the platform lessening a lot of redundant emailing.

Pros: One of my favorite features has been setting header images and emoji icons for each page. It's been a great opportunity to really theme groups of pages and help communicate ideas immediately.

Cons: There's nothing I particularly dislike, I mostly just has some additional features I'd love to see in the future! Being able to embed a CodePen, for example, would help my dev team to even better document things.

Pros: Our team used it for collaborating on ideas and documenting comments/feedback as a team on several projects. The cloud version is fairly easy to use with a neat folder structure to segment and easily group projects with the team or personal stuff.

Cons: I got into the beat version which still had a few bugs and would not work with IE, not sure that's fixed completely

Pros: Searchability, shareability, and centrality of the software make it better than most. New features are being implemented on an almost reliable schedule. Excited for the future.

Cons: The interface is a little clunky. I find it difficult to find some of the main features, and basic features that exist on other document sharing services are not on you website.

Overall: My team and I are able to search up all of our notes in one place.

Pros: The feature offering for this type of software (SaaS documents with templates) is among the best of those I have tried. The free tier is generous.

Cons: No major negatives stand out at the moment. I have been evaluating NoteJoy among piers for an organization that will grow to need this type of SaaS offering in the next few years. NoteJoy is among the best I have tried.

Pros: 1) Desktop app collaboration is perfect. What I desperately needed from Google works with Notejoy

Anatoly, thanks so much for your review of Notejoy and glad to hear that you're finding the product easy to use! Appreciate the feature suggestions on task deadlines, we'll definitely take it into account for future improvements. Regarding the apps, Android is definitely planned and I did want to let you know that we do support desktop Mac and PC already (head to https://notejoy.com/downloads to grab them). Thanks again!

Pros: Flexibility and that 'library-style' approach. Certainly, by using boards, it has borrowed from other ideas but in introducing its own ideas a better product is available.

Cons: Not a lot...although there is so much new stuff coming out now I always tempted to try others as well.

Overall: assistance in keeping thinkgs in order while setting-up a new business.

Pros: I really like its simplicity, which allows me to be absolutely focused on my work and not distracted by any fancy animations.

Cons: The biggest con is the lack of features. I would greatly welcome a nice pdf generator.
Also writing in a language different from English is a pain because I have not found how to disable autocorrection.

Pros: The UX design is attractive. There aren't clunky borders or tricky pop-up windows I've dealt with in competitive note apps. Clickable screen fields are great without the ugly borders and CTA buttons.

Cons: It's still more robust in a laptop format. I am still having trouble figuring out how to share lists one by one.

Cons: It would be nice if it had an ability to use tags for the documents for easy filtering. Tags are a really handy way to organize documents since it is very flexible.
