### "Best App Ever"

The cloud based design frees up your phone. I have maxed out my picture storage multiple times and trying to organize them after the fact was terrible. Company Cam has that all taken care of. The Geo Location feature automatically knows if your on a current job and when the app is opened that's the suggested job.

Pros

Company Cam offers a trial use and initially I was not able to take full advantage of the trial but after contacting them they extended the trial. This is one of the most innovative documenting apps I've every used in construction. It is cloud based with one simple monthly fee that is well worth the cost. Just the organization of the pictures per job is worth the cost not to mention the countless other features.

Cons

After using this software for almost a year now I don't think there is anything I don't like about the App. There are some modifications that I might suggest but these are just personal preferences.

Reason for choosing CompanyCam

I would choose them because if you have any questions or need help with the app there are "real" people on the line to assist you immediately. There Customer Service is second to none.

If I could give them 100 stars I would, they deserve it!

Pros

CompanyCam is a life savior for any trade company!!! Being able to share the link so who ever needs to see what's happening on the project can. The edits you can do on the pictures are amazing and so helpful!!

Cons

There is absolutely no complaints with this program

Pros

The features were exactly what we were looking for. Over time the ridiculous amounts of updates that created more and more 'features' made the product less and less easy to use. What once took minutes has extended to 10 times that to create a report. Updates often caused outages where our data was unavailable. Please Please Please someone make a comparable product so I can get away from company cam.

Cons

Horrible customer service. When we had issues it was days before we received a response. our data was unavailable and when the udpates were complete we had to relearn the entire application.

We utilize this app with every single job that we do now. The photos never go anywhere, and are stored in the cloud. A. If there were any additional costs incurred during a job, you can loop a customer in right away with any photos or videos being taken during the job. Pics and videos are always timestamped with the employees name who took the pics. B. You can add notes to any pictures or video. When you loop a customer in on their project they can also collaborate and upload notes in real time. C. Extremely helpful working in a field whether or not the customer is able to view the work with you. It's important not only for a homeowner, but makes the whole job process a lot more comfortable for the people paying. People love it too - being able to watch their roof being done in real time. D. Building inspector inspections and photos, any required photos that a municipality could require of you can be uploaded here. For us it's mainly ice and water inspections. We can take pics of the progress and send those pics to whoever needs them. E. It's makes your company more professional. F. No more scrolling back for months to see if you have project photos stored in your phone, now all that data is in CompanyCam cloud. G. We love that it automatically syncs with our jobs in Jobber.

Pros

We love that we can now communicate in real time (with photos) with our customers while we're working on their properties. We do roofing so it's not like people can go outside and watch, it's dangerous. With CompanyCam we're able to show the entire process from start to finish.

Cons

Honestly I can't think of any cons about company cam.

Company Cam has given us the opportunity to get a feel for the jobs we have to do, and the supplies needed. It is very helpful to be able to create reports for certain clients (like house repairs needed for a real estate sale). Having a checklist for generator services is helpful to the technicians because they have to answer questions and/or add pictures for each step of the process. That way we can have a thorough record of the maintenance preformed.

Pros

I like the ability to make reports and check lists for jobs. The ability to take pictures and videos of jobs and job sites is very helpful. The checklists are valuable because it helps us to make sure that each step of the job is completed.

Cons

The integration with Field Pulse has been challenging. We do a lot of agricultural work and the fields, ditch pumps, and pivots do not have specific "addresses", so we use coordinates. These do not match up at all when trying to get them matched with FP

Overall satisfied with the software just wish it was a little better price. We have a small company so paying around $100 a month is a lot for our budget.

Pros

The sales people are able to take photos on Company Cam and they link into our CRM which saves time and energy. It is a great feature. And you can share it with your subcontractors so they can upload photos as well.

Cons

The price is a bit high and if you want to utilize some additional features you have to pay substantially more. I was wanting to use the checklist but would need a different plan that was an additional $50 per month.

Pros

I really enjoy how simple it is to use and that photos don’t take up memory on my phone. Excellent value just for that.

Cons

Not so much about the app, but having to learn that the photos of the job site are now on an app rather my phone.

Helps me daily with my job.

Pros

I use this app daily for my job and couldn't imagine not having it now. It allows my to keep track of all my jobs and look back at past jobs to refresh my memory without having to go back to the site.

Cons

I do not really have any Cons with this app. Occasionally you get the update bugs but that is pretty normal with most apps. Everything functions pretty well daily.

Very positive! I would take this system over all others I tested. The one draw back is the address/location duplication

Pros

Ease of use, intuitive, it really is super easy to use! It integrates with JobNimbus our CRM

Cons

It duplicates addresses when you go to the address more than once. The sales/auditor has to notice that the address is duplicated, which doesn't always happen...and delete one, or sometimes 2 of them. I wish there was a way for the system to recognize the duplication and not allow the 2nd or 3rd record to be made without some sort of distinguishing name or notation.The only other item that needs work is collaborators. It works to add a collaborator via email, but sending it via text almost always leads to issues. If this were fixed the technology is excellent

WE were using the photo function within JobNimbus which isn't near as robust as company cam.

Overall we have gone back and forth deciding if this is the best program for us. We went through a period where our new CRM offered a very very similar feature. We tried it for a little over a month and reconvened to decide if we should use the feature that we are already getting included in a package we are paying for, or continue to pay for this third party program (company cam!). In the end, it was unanimous, nothing compares to the ease and functionality of Company Cam!

Pros

We love being able to track our project's progress and share the links with homeowners and insurance companies so everyone can see exactly what our contractors do, step by step

Cons

We really do love company cam. There have been times when we are at a project far outside the perimeter of Atlanta and our service is not great. In those times, sometimes pictures won't load, or we can't share our link with homeowners during our mid-morning check in. It seems unlikely that has something to do with company cam. Ultimately, that is a phone service issue!

My overall experience has been positive and I highly recommend CompanyCam for your business. The time it saves you from all the paperwork and it allows you to send out reports instantly. It is easy to use and offers your business to expand.

Pros

I love using CompanyCam for the ease of the program to sending my clients the proof is why I love this software. The file sharing option is the best!

Cons

Picture taking can sometimes glitch and cause the pictures to be blurry.

Ease of use and the ability to explain it to my students. I teach for multiple organizations and have been recommending the product, even including their salespeople in the class at times. Since Company Cam will not take the time to solve the problem or even make an attempt, I will be looking for other products to recommend. What a shame to have a good product with an owner who does not care about the end-user.

Tech Support does not exist. They will not call you when you have a problem. They give you a salesperson who cannot fix the problem. I have asked repeatedly for a call, and all I get are emails asking to take a screenshot of a ghost. I have explained numerous times in emails that you cannot take a picture of something that Company Cam's program deleted.

It has been generally good, except that sometimes I need high quality and as the photos lost quality when uploaded, I have had to find other options to share the images.

Pros

It is a very simple and easy platform to use. You can share with others and link to projects and update pictures.

Cons

I do not like the fact that pictures lose some quality after they upload. In my case I need high quality photos and sometimes this is an issue for me.

Massive increase in overall efficiency. Information is power in the HVAC industry and the information that is immediately sent back to managers from technicians in the field is invaluable. It is quick and easy to use, and quick and easy to sort and organize data.

Pros

Quick photo option and the reports. I put together a report for every job that I sell. It used to take me 15 minutes - upload photos, organize them, print them, label them. Now it takes less than two minutes. This makes a huge difference when I am running up to 6-8 sales calls a day from April to October in a very busy seasonal business.

Cons

System needs to work better when there is limited cell service. In my opinion, the app should be able to operate without any Wifi or cellular signal, uploading and updating the information once a signal is restored.

Pros

I have found this product very easy to use and extremely helpful on jobs with uploading photos.

Cons

There have been a number of times where photos were not directly uploaded to the correct place. I would say this is less than 2% of the jobs that we use this program for.

Quick photo capturing, high quality photos, easy to share, and a product that I feel confident recommending.

Pros

I like that Company Cam allows for an almost instant connection to anyone connected to our account when we post a photo. If I take a photo, someone in Lincoln can see it almost immediately. I also enjoy their AR option which allows for measuring pitch and skylights.

Cons

I think that Company Cam is still improving and allowing for their platform to run smoother, but sometimes I feel that the software can be buggy and glitch out.

Cons

I would love to have video capabilities. My only complaint is the app is slow to refresh when trying to add photos or new jobs.
