I used the free version for a long time, but the Pro version is really adapted to my needs. I use it to backup my personal PC, on which I have several working disks. More and more of my life is stored there, especially thousands of family photos. But as a former CIO, I'm a bit paranoid about the security of my data, and I do backups on several drives and a NAS. Pros This software is very easy to use. I had no problem installing it and setting it up according to my needs. After using it to back up my professional workstation, I now use it for my personal home computer, which is even more valuable than the one at work! Cons I have a hard time finding any negative points. The task planning could be a little bit more user-friendly. Reason for choosing SyncBackPro Did not even looked at other solutions. I do not have time to mess around with setting the program's sync profile. It will not recognize the code sent by Microsoft to verify the setup for OneDrive. Consequently, I cannot fully evaluate the program. You must submit requests through email rather than chat or speak with a real person for assistance. Being a solo businessness owner, I do not have the office time to be administrator of a computer and run my business. Pros Because of their horrible customer service, I cannot comment. February 21, 2023 4.0 I can make daily, weekly and montly backup of most important software in use in my workshop, so I can take a "snapshot" in every moment. In addition, software send me all day report of all executed processes. Pros In my opinion the most about this software are the easy setup interface and price for a little workshop as mine. Cons I'm a little user and I cannot use many functions that program have. In my opinion, this software works very well bau I'm not able to evaluate all functions that are present on it. Pros Small and unpretentious yet powerful application. Full localization of the environment into the Czech language and many others. 64bit version allows multiple files to be processed within a single profile, which is important for cloud backups. Reliably safe synchronization of large amounts (over 1 million) files into the cloud. Well-arranged reports and their presentation in HTML format. Ich verwendete es erst als backup, auch privat. Jetzt ist die Hauptverwendung als Synchronisierung. Entscheidend war, dass Programm die FTP Server als Ziel/Quelle ansprechen kann. Cons die Zeitplannung ist etwas verwirrend, ich habe manchmal auf Windows Aufgabeplanung ausgewiechen.Als backup kommt mir das Auslesen der Quelle etwas langsam vor.Das Frontend Design ist nicht ansprechend, die Auflösung z.B. könnte größer sein. It efficiently keeps four different computers synced and it is flexible enough that it is easy to sync just what I need with each computer. It has automatic backup settings so my files are backed up to Dropbox and a local disk every night. It works well with Box, too. Version 9 has easy to interpret graphics and works well. Cons Every so often, I need to delete the file database in SyncBackPro when it takes a long time to identify changed files when I sync with Dropbox, but once I do it is fine. Pros The best thing about Syncback Pro is that once it is setup for the relevant funtion, it just does it's job seamlessly. The audit and log files are exception and reallt help pin down any issues. Pros Relatively easy to use. Seamless. I sync every thirty minutes. Although I still use a cloud backup nightly, I sync my server to an external drive for peace of mind and easy of use if I accidentally delete, don't save, or need the extra copy. It doesn't seem to affect performance at all. Cons I takes a little while to understand server settings. It doesn't confirm a sync so I check every once-in-a-while. Pros I've been using SyncBack for over 10 years now, it has never failed once in that time. We use it to backup various servers and shares and most recently to sync a website. The software is very easy to use, the user interface is a dream - a lot of thought has gone into making the wizards straight-forward and easy to use. Very customizable. saves full files (not zipped). About any combination of backup, sync, either direction, with many file filters and customization. You can schedule backups, and have multiple versions for different applications. Will even save to cloud. Cons Not much. To backup everything manually is time consuming and fraught with possible errors. Some backup programs will overwrite newer versions of files with older versions, which can be a disaster. SyncBackPro makes the backup process easy and secure. It is fast, reliable, and backs up perfectly. It's one of a few programs I couldn't do without.
