### "A solid backup solution"

Pros

Syncback Pro is a solid backup solution that does not require a lot of experience to configure. You can get started fairly easily and it has built in "simulation" runs of backups so you know if you need to adjust the configuration.

Cons

The GUI is very late 1990s and needs to be modernized. It also has random errors to can cause the backup jobs to not run.

Pros

This software does what we need it to exactly. We have some offices that need to sync between the 2 and this program handles it. We have other offices that need backups and we use this for FTP and local USB backups.

Cons

I dont have any that I can think of. This program has always done what it said it would unless the drive or FTP server was off. No issues that I know of or can think of that are a "con".

Over the years I have had some problems which required tech support. I have to say that they have always been able to help me get back on-track.

Pros

Once the software is setup it "Hands OFF" from then on.

Cons

There are so many options that it gets a little dotting at times while setting it up the first time.

It was easy to install and configure. It provides both local backups to hard drives and network attached storage, as well as to the cloud. It has a good reputation.

Cons

Unable to backup our network attached storage to the cloud.

Pros

I have tried a number of different apps in the past. What I like about Syncback is It simple/expert mode, it's broad range of features and emailing of backup logs.

Cons

Nothing really. This product does everything we require in our business.

Pros

We recently encountered an obscure bug in a new version of the product. Customer support was extremely responsive and, once they identified the issue, they even pushed a new version with a patch specifically to address our issue. Impressive!

Cons

I don't really have any concerns. We even had a good workaround for the bug we discovered while waiting for a resolution.

Cool tool, got frustrated after upgrade to W10, SW very often crashing or opening endless instances. Close to explode, I decided to contact support which help me very quick. And is was a operator/configuration error myself.

Pros

Very Flexible and feature rich, easy to use.

Cons

Do not need any ffurther features yet.........

I am very conscious of the fact that my music is digital and can disappear instantly. SyncbackPro has made me feel more secure.

Pros

If you don't get into the advanced sections (expert mode) it is very easy to implement. It does not disrupt my flow. I can look at detailed logs of the backup anytime to see what is actually being saved.

Cons

I can't think of any features that are missing. It does what I need it to do.

Reason for choosing SyncBackPro

It looked like it was more complete and had a reasonable price.

Very easy to setup. Intuitive and user friendly back-up software. I also like that you can set up the backups with versioning.

Cons

Sync Back pro feels a bit expensive since only use a couple features not included in syncback free.

This software allowed me to save a lot of time to manage backup and synchronisation of files of my team

Pros

I can do synchronised backup, drive 1 to another one and vice versa. I can schedule a back up to run automatically even i'm not working on my laptop.

Cons

This is a great tool for the system adminitrators, but I ususally need to export profile configurations of backup process, for use on other computers of my organisation, but I cannot find this option.

Besides error messages in a C-Drive backup, all other drives back up easily.

Pros

It is good for backup on most of your harddrives. Migrating info from your C-Drive does have some issues. One would think that "migrate" would transfer all information from your C-Drive onto the target. It doesn't. And, when one attempts to do so, an error message will result. This leaves one to go through all the error messages and disallow their entry in the search mode. This is both time consuming and shouldn't be expected if the program were to really "migrate" information on the source drive onto the target.

Cons

As indicated in the above statement. Rather than an error message in Migrating a C-drive to a target drive, it'd be nice to indicate which specific item the program won't copy to make it easier for the user to disqualify those possible error messages items in the selection process to eliminate them from the search, thus eliminate the errors.

Pros

Countless options for nearly every case. Good struktured interface. Reliable in daily operation.

Cons

The filter system is good and robust but in some cases it would be great if there are some additional scripting possibilities.

I am currently working from home. Our data on the office server is backed up here at home to a portable hard drive but as I work with modelling software and very large files I like to work directly from the SSD on my PC to reduce access time. I therefore am constantly synchronising the files on my SSD with the office as well as the back up on the portable hard drive. SyncBackPro handles this effortlessly.

Pros

I feel reassured that our data is in good hands. It's reliable and easy to use.

Cons

It's hard to be negative about anything...

Pros

It works best, but what I liked more was the costumer service. During these years of use, I had some difficulties using the software and the answers from your costumer service where quick, precise and bring real solutions for my doubts, so I could solve them very quickly

First I use the free version and after, when I change from Iphone to Samsung, I change for Pro version that have the features I needed.

Understanding the setting. Need Guides for different types of implementations. Ran into many errors trying to implement only for support to inform me of certain specific settings I needed to change. Could not run on a server to check on changes. had to run under schedule.

SyncBackPro V9 has so many functionalities that we need to clean up and back up our servers. The tool saves us a lot of development time and fulfill almost all of our requirements. The tech support is very responsive and helpful in expediting our purchase order so that we can continue our work after the trial license expired. Thank you!

Pros

A lot of functionalities, versatile to connect to different remote servers using different protocols. The user interface is well organized and users are able to set up profiles even without any tutorial.

Cons

would be helpful if there is are sample profiles ( using the same connection and file/folder ) to demonstrates the differences of Backup/Sync/Mirror/Customize mode.

For our use case, of copying to S3, it would be better if it could assume a role, rather than have an IAM user
