Pros

The ease of use is what amazes me. Select files and folder to sync and then if you wish to go into more advanced selections, the terms are laid in simple terms so that a non techie can understand.

Cons

It is a great one or two way syncing software and also used as backup software but it does take time to sync many files at once using no compression

We like the visual log and file comparison and the support was excellent - we required a feature that wasn't in the software and the developer released a beta version for us to try on the same day - Now that's amazing service

I tested SynBackPro and was perfect. When I just bought, my coud provider change something and the same SyncBackPro version had a problem. The SyncBackPro Team was very fast to have a fix and solve the problem and be adapted to the change in my cloud provider. Problems will ocoour, so post selling support is very important to keep all running, I'm impressed!

SyncbackPro is very easy to use and very intuitive

Cons

I haven't observed any cons till now, I will be monitoring

Pros

Am a long time user of SyncBack SE. I like what it does and the options it provides.

Cons

I have found Help to be somewhat lacking in detail and real recommendations at times. For instance, in Cloud > Advanced, there are settings for number of threads. It says to use more than the default and it also says that too many will degrade performance. But it gives no real guidelines or conclusions, just says to experiment. I don't like that.

I use this software to backup some critical business files just in case the computer (still running Windows XP!) fails. Should that happen, I will just boot up another computer and resume my business with little downtime as I have backup of the critical files on an external USB flash drive.

Pros

Lots of features (backup, mirror, sync); support for cloud services (eg. Dropbox); there is even a freeware SyncBackFree version for you to try out (though quite crippled in features).

Cons

Because this is so feature-laden, some users may be intimidated by the sheer number of options available; to take advantage of some of the more useful features (eg. you need to buy the most expensive Pro version).

Very good. Perhaps you might consider adding simple tips over each profile choice, when hovering over the item with the mouse, to aid numbskulls like me. I had to raise a Support Ticket to resolve an issue with the OneDrive accounts, but the response was very quick which resolved the issue. Good job !

Pros

For ensuring backups to 2nd PC hard drive and to cloud. Ease of use after setup.

Cons

OneDrive cloud setup is confusing, especially if (like me) there are more than a single OneDrive account to set up.

I'm using this software for my company to save and copy of my data and back up it. it was good software and one of the faster systems to do work. it is a trusted software so now I only use this software for my tasks.

it was a bit difficult to use at the start because there are too many options so a new user may be confused but the support team is available to guide them.

Pros

Home user, evaluation copy. I sent support request by email on a Saturday, not really expecting my question to be properly answered ever. Received excellent response actually answering my question fully on Sunday morning!! Astounding.

Cons

I haven't found a way to have SynBack mark files kept in destination after deletion in source such that if my source disk dies I can choose to restore only files that I had \*not\* previously deleted from source. That would be a nice feature.

Herhaalde pogingen om de betaalde versie te kopen terwijl ik de gratis versie wil. En die ellendige Captcha!! Weg ermee! De prijs is ook pittig.
