The app is great -- I actually prefer to the web platform. It also has gotten quite the facelift over the years. UI and UX are much better.

Pros

A quick, easy way to transfer funds. I love to use it to pay and split bills with friends and roommates. I occasionally use it for online payments from individual vendors online.

Cons

The free version has as lag with when funds are deposited/removed. I was hacked one time on PayPal and had $300 removed from my account, which was a nightmare to replace through my bank.

Pros

What I like most about this software is that it is very simple and there are so many customization options. I can create invoices and add my logo. I can present my logos that way I don't have to type in the same information repeatedly. I get a notification every time money goes in and out of my account. I just love it and it makes getting paid easy.

Cons

The only con is the fees you have to pay as a business holder or if your sending over a certain amount of money you will have to pay a fee as well.

### "Works for running credit cards on cell phone"

I go to customer locations, and some pay with credit card. I use this ap with the paypal reader to bill them for the services.

Pros

I was able to take credit cards from customers using my cell phone and this ap. The reader worked well. It automatically emailed the receipt and must have saved the email address or read it from a database.

Cons

I had to remember to plug in the reader into the headphone jack as well as turn on bluetooth and radio to make it work. It made it take a while instead of the ap just turning those on for you.

Able to charge customers via credit card - we have seriously increased our income vs. cash and check only operations.

Pros

This software is easy to use - especially once it connected with the fingerprint login capability. Allows me to access my preset menu of items for sale or input any charge. I can turn on or off taxes, review my transactions, and can transfer funds to my bank account right from the same app I am charging my customers from. I can even create and download basic sales reports.

Cons

I can't think of much that I don't like about the app. It's easy to use. I do wish the fees were less, but that's a part of all of these systems.

Very positive experience. It has added much needed flexibility to my small business.

Pros

It does not take up excessive memory. Works well whether you use the card reader or process transactions manually. Extremely helpful to use either way. You can preset amounts to charge. Options for receipts are great. Automatic transfer of information to email.

Cons

Sometimes the confirmation information that comes to the seller is missing details. Not sure if this is based on whether the purchaser is new. The amount is always correct so that is good. You can provide a receipt and not always get the email or phone number in the confirmation.

We use it for fundraisers to sell merchandise to raise money. It's very helpful to take to booths because the swiper is small and compact and the App is easy to install and use anywhere.

Pros

It's very simple and basic and easy for customers to use, too.

Cons

I hate using my Bluetooth for the swiper, but that's it!

It is very convenient and has saved us in our business because I can swipe cards instead of using our other merchant services, which we are having issues with. My husband has a hard time using it because you have to plug in the cost, then confirm, then confirm again, then swipe. And he doesn't know how to enter all the info if the swipe doesn't work. I however, can use it fine.

Pros

I can take money anywhere! Don't need my computer.

Cons

Sometimes the swiper doesn't work. I retry several times and, if it still doesn't work, then I have to manually put in the number and that costs more.

I use it for all my payments, both in and out. It helps me shop from online retailers outside my country with no fuss. Freelancing has been a breeze because my clients can pay me directly through Paypal with no fuss. Being able to handle it all from my mobile phone is a breeze and I can say that any single user is surely not going to regret having this as their personal payment portal.

Pros

1\. It has one of the simplest and cleanest interfaces of the hundreds of mobile applications I have used. 2. Staying Here in India, I am able to purchase so many study courses and products through Paypal from other countries, and all this through one payment portal. 3. Even freelancing is a breeze as I can accept payments through this same portal itself. 4. Paypal always has some great customer incentive deals with large brands in the field of travel, food, clothing etc, making it a very rewarding platform. 5. Fingerprint security and pin protection keep my funds and accounts safe at all times.

Cons

1\. Sometimes I have noticed my payments don't go through on the first few attempts even though I am on a rock solid wifi or mobile connection. 2. Customer support could be better and easily more navigable.

You must be associated with a web sign to utilize it. We've been where the administration is frail and the application slacks or crashes.

It's been a very welcomed tool - the simplicity is wonderful!

Pros

So simple to use, I carry our PayPal card reader in my purse and am always ready for that potential donor whose "on the spot" giving might make a difference in our nonprofit work. The PayPal Here app syncs seamlessly and is incredibly simple to set up and to use. Very happy!!!

Cons

Nothing - I've used several other card readers, from other services as well as directly through my business banking merchant services. Very pleased with PPH App.

I use PayPal daily to send and receive money, and overall paypal's app is excellent. I am able to get my business and personal financial exchanges done quickly and correct. I haven't had an issue with PayPal at all yet.

Pros

PayPal's app makes it easy to send and receive money on the go without the hassle of me having to log into my desktop to do so. I am an active user of PayPal, and find that this is the best way for me to exchange money for both business and personal manners. PayPal's app is easy to use and also provides buyer (and usually seller) protection in the event something goes wrong with a business transaction on either end. I will continue using PayPal as my primary source of exchanging money!

Cons

I don't have any cons; so far this app, and PayPal itself, has been a smooth process of using.

It is an excellent tool, to make collections or payments in different currencies, you can integrate it to your website, and receive payments through the application, it is integrated with different platforms such as WordPress. You can also send payment through the same website of the tool.

Cons

The commissions charged to receive coins from other countries are a little high, as if you want to withdraw funds also charge a certain commission for that.

Pros

I like the ease of use and ability to have a swipe device for easy purchasing. This helps instead of manually logging in details.

Cons

I do not like the percentage that paypal charges it could be lower. But they approve almost any business account which is good.

Reason for choosing PayPal Point of Sale

Paypal was able to approve me for the products i offer, but it pose a high risk for other payment processors.
