" November 28, 2018 5.0 I have used this app to make payments for a variety of things - owing someone money, renting a condo and paying privately, sending money to different accounts. It's very easy, consistent, and the money typically arrives immediately. If there is a time delay, it tends to arrive before the anticipated delivery date. Pros The PayPal app is one of the easiest money-sending apps available, in my opinion. It's very user friendly and allows for ease of transactions with immediate confirmation of funds received. Also, you have the option to send money to friends/family or a business. I LOVE that it is connected to my account and I can easily deposit however much money I want FROM my PayPal to my account. Vice versa, I can send money FROM my account TO PayPal, though that is an option I've never utilized before. Cons When sending money to friends/family, there is no transaction fee. When sending money to a business, there is a transaction fee on behalf of the business. This is a perceived negative of whoever is being paid, but there are no fees for the sender. Pros Allows anyone with a smart phone to take credit card payments. Great for making sales at conventions. Cons I’ve never really gotten the card reader too work consistently. It's a good tool to also interface with our event planning registration needs. Pros We use PayPal and link it for payment processing for events, conferences, etc. I love that it will deposit the money earned from PayPal to our bank account. This is an awesome feature! We also use it with a swipper and just LOVE how easy it is to use. It's nice that you can also send invoices to request payment via PayPal. Cons Downside of using the swipper is if you don't have a good Bluetooth or internet connection, it will be a little spotty with timeliness of processing. Pros Once your payment terminal is set up transactions are super easy with the app. We are service company and take payments at the job location. PayPay here app is easy to use for all our employees Cons The one thing that we didn't care for was the actual set up of your payment system in order to use the app. It was very difficult and you need to have customer service take you through the set up. The online program has great details and is easy for me to use when I need to refund and customer. Cons Software is great, its just when I have had to call customer service I am on the phone forever . I like to be able to use paypal for verious uses from personal use to business use. The option to use paypal as a payment option where my billing and payment options are saved is very simple. Pros I enjoy that this software makes it accessible to pay invoices from vendors we use. I also like the ease of having multiple payment options in one place. I can use credit, my personal card, my corporate card etc. Cons In terms of sending and receiving quick payments between friends and family, I prefer venmo. I don’t need to have a minimum of sales so it’s very flexible. It was a life saver this past fall for us. Pros This credit card system was very easy to set up and use. It was a last minute decision as our previous credit card mobile system kept crashing causing long wait times. PayPal saved the day. We only need a mobile system seasonally and they are the go-to for us. I highly recommend PayPal. Cons There’s nothing to not like! My business loves it! It may cost more and take longer but you will have your money protected. Pros I really like how secure Paypal makes the payment process. As far as instant transfer services go, paypal is the only one I know of that backs consumer purchases and will investigate if a vendor does not deliver the goods as promised. This can be helpful when buying goods online. Cons Paypal makes it difficult to transfer money to your bank account, through the authorization process. It can take days to weeks to get authorized and transfer money. Paypal also charges fees on many transactions. Review Source MC Melody C.
