October 1, 2018 4.0 Pros A very easy set-up prosses for charging payments on the go. Cons A plethora of different companies offer the same service but charge better rates, offer better customer service, and have overall better functionality. Many payment companies will even give you a free card reader on signup. This app is also not available in many places outside the US, making it very inconvenient for people that travel internationally for events/sales. I put my credit and bank cards on PayPal, and it locks and protects all of my accounts. November 13, 2018 4.0 Pros PayPal is overall very simple to use. It's the best software if you're wanting to send or receive money to and from friends, family, or small businesses. The thing I like the most is that PayPal is easy to navigate. Sending money has never been issue. I also do like that money is converted automatically. Cons I don't have very many complaints about the software. I have not ran into too many problems, but I once almost lost my money because I was attempting to upgrade my PayPal into a business account. My account froze and I was unable to access my funds, which was a lot of money. Luckily, customer support fixed that and I was able to continue to use my account normally afterwards, but it was not experience I would like to run into again. Review Source JL Joni L. What a nightmare! So many hidden mystery fees! PayPal here is simple and does the job. Pros PayPal Here is a great option for credit card processing for a very small business. It works easily with my smartphone. The app is straight-forward and simple to use. Cons PayPal Zettle doesn't include a payment gateway option for taking payments over the phone. Love the reporting and tracking of expenditures. Pros So easy to use, and provides full tracking of expenditures. This is the best way to feel safe when paying for merchandise online, especially from sellers with little activity. Problems are quickly resolved and submitting any issue is handling promptly. Love the PayPal re-loadable card that you can send or receive funds from. Great for college kids with full tracking of activity. Pros Since our Nonprofit already uses PayPal extensively for donations, selecting the PayPal Here device and app was a no-brainer of choice for taking Point of Service donations and sales payments. As long has one has connectivity to the Internet one is ready to take payments with ease Cons I don't really have any cons. PP Here has always worked well as long as I could get a phone signal with my cell phone. Our sanctuary is remotely located and there are no cell towers close. One must rely on a WiFi connection in these cases. That has nothing to do with PayPal's quality, though. December 13, 2018 5.0 PayPal here is a "right out of the box" tool. We've managed to increase attendance at our large events by 3% and customers have mentioned liking the protection offered by PayPal. Pros The card reader is very easy to use and app is intuitive. Having the app and card reader has made it easier for our event attendees to register in person at the last minute and still attend. Cons The fees associated with the app are in line with other comparative services however having to wait to transfer funds from the PayPal account to bank (other than the outrageous instant transfer fee) is disappointing. Cons When I cash out my money it does take a while to get to my savings account, at least a few days or so. It would be nice it was more streamlined and I could access my money faster.
