Overall, it's been a great improvement to business - it's more professional than what I had previously.

Pros

Brought my business to next level with client management, scheduling, messaging, auto-rescheduling, reporting, workshops and events and more. Support is great, and for most part I love it. Current price point is amazing.

Cons

There was a learning curve for sure. Some features aren't 100% intuitive, and but they're improving all the time. I wish specifically that there were more flexibility on how students get notified/messaged for their appointments. Clients often find their end of booking/cancelling/rescheduling a bit unclear, but once they've done it once they're on board.

Excellent. I've been EXTREMELY impressed with customer service. With any service that provides many different services, users occasionally need some help. They reply promptly and knowledgeably - advising me on precisely what I need to do to get the outcome I want or let me know if it isn't something I can do (and they often add the issue to request services). I appreciate their overall professionalism. I've also never had a problem with their service that was a functional error. I use another online service (a virtual whiteboard) that I really like but it occasionally (very rarely) has errors in how it functions. I appreciate that I have never encountered any type of error in their service.

Pros

Automation of my billing based upon appointments completed. I used to use several systems to request and get paid for by clients. And tracking all of them was a big headache. This has saved me an immense amount of time and mental energy.

Cons

I wish I could link my personal calendars into Fons so I can more easily see everything in one place. You can add non business related appointments in Fons. But I would like to be able to just add my calendars (that I have in Google) to Fons so everything would be in one place when I am scheduling.

Pros

For me, the best part of Fons is that I no longer have to send invoices, record payments, and bother clients who don’t pay on time. It is all done automatically. I also love their personal customer relationships.

Cons

The only issue that I found was the initial onboarding of clients and learning how to use Fons. I am not the most tech savvy. That being said, the customer service team is terrific, and they are always willing to help!

The best experience I ever could’ve asked for!

Pros

The Fons community as well as the ease of scheduling and selling packages and appointments.

Cons

I would only like to see more opportunities for more freedom in collecting different kinds of payments detached from any specific package, workshop or appointment. It would also help to be able to sell long-term services with more “in-house financing” capabilities, e.g flexible or graduated payment plan options or the option to pay it down like any other credit account.

Very good experience and I wish the features (enhancements) I needed could have been worked in to their 'roadmap', but unfortunately it wasn't to be.

Pros

The team behind Fons is exceptional. My experience was that they did more than any other SAAS platform to get to know me, my work flow, and connect on a personal level. Extremely helpful and responsive.

Cons

There were features I needed (down-time "padding" before and after appointments, keeping count of the number of appointments used in a billing cycle to name a couple) that I really needed and did not seem to be forthcoming.There were a couple of incidents of clients getting double-billed which, to their credit, Fons made good on right away ... but I just can't have that happening to my clients.

Basically this platform has been life-changing for my business! I love the internal messaging feature. It allows any communications for scheduling or payment processing to be done through the software. This frees up my email and really brought my anxiety down by having everything organized in one place. I also love being able to charge a client’s credit card anytime I need to. The client doesn’t have to do anything. There is absolutely no friction on their end. This was of the utmost importance for my business.

Pros

The best thing about Fons is that they keep making it better. They are interested in their clients needs. This was crucial for me as I think it is the most important thing when it comes to your business. No platform is perfect, but I am confident this is going to be the best one out there, given the drive and dedication of the Fons team

Cons

When I am editing appointments there are no batch actions and it always takes me back to the home calendar page… So it can be a bit clunky and time consuming when doing things like this. I’m sure they will fix it!

Pros

Getting off the hamster wheel of creating invoices and chasing payments will increase your revenue, decrease your admin time, and increase your client satisfaction. Clients will know you are professional and will appreciate that you use professional tools.

Cons

My only suggestion for improvement would be more options or easier ways to track clients payments.

Overall this has been a fantastic product and has made my studio much more efficient. Not sure how I’d run my schedule without it now!

Pros

I love that my scheduling and billing is all in one place. Students know what the schedule is, when their lessons are, the reminders, and the auto billing.

Cons

This product was challenging to learn at first. I wish the online widget integration was easier.
