"The complexity sometimes exceeds its helpfulness. "

**Overall:** Daily notices about pending documents is annoying--especially if the item is not applicable to the transaction. Office-wide, we are getting too many fraud sellers, which wastes our time and which is exposing us to legal and financial risk. Training is time-intensive. Overall, the program, even though it has benefits, distracts us from our most important activity--selling. Training is time-intensive.

**Pros:** It helps us ensure compliance and gives a standard way of handling paperwork, increasing the accountability for agents.

**Cons:** Too complex for most of our agents. We have to have a part-time employee enter transactons. Also, when a lead comes in, we don't know if it is from MaxTech of BoldTrail and whether a referral is due. And since the lead is from a DoNotReply address, how do we give feedback when there is a problem?

Thanks for sharing your detailed feedback! We’re glad BoldTrail is helping your team stay compliant and organized. We hear you on the complexity and training time — our team is always working to make things more intuitive and streamline lead tracking. We’ll pass your notes along so we can continue improving the experience for you and your agents

"Can't stand BoldTrail Back Office"

**Overall:** Horrible. This is not the first transaction management software I've used but it is by far the worst.

**Pros:** The only thing I like is the ability to email documents and the email body into a transaction. The email body is captured in the activity and can be printed from there.

**Cons:** There is nothing else I like about this program. It needs the ability to create additional folders for documents that are not part of the contracts. Copies of advertising in print, social media and other online sources. We need the ability to add more than one document to a checklist placeholder. For example a home inspection has a companion form the inspection response form. The buyer replies to the home inspection and may ask for repairs or additional inspection. Seller then uses the same form to respond to Buyer. Buyer may respond to Seller on the same form again. This could go on for several iterations. All of the forms should be captured. Broker shouldn't have to keep creating new placeholders for each iteration and they shouldn't have to save then merge the iterations. Contacts we should be able to import them from our contact database instead of manually entering them again. Constantly have to go out an come back into a window to get documents to display. Windows need to scale down to half a screen or less and still display all panels so we can work with multiple windows open. When an offer is loaded into the listing transaction you have to change the list price for the correct amount to show in Finance Commission. The field there is mapped to list price not offer price. If you have a new listing that's under contract right away adding the listing checklist and an offer checklist you can't tell which checklist a common form will go to when you split and assign forms. If I were to work on this list while I was working in the system I could keep adding issues. Bottom line, I don't like any part of what I have to use.

**Switched From:** [Docusign](https://www.capterra.com/p/121506/Docusign/)

**Reasons for Switching to BoldTrail Back Office:** Broker/Owner didn't want to spend the money for a good system for the office when we broke away from RE/MAX. Individual brokers like myself, and the Broker/Owner have purchased DocuSign individually. So we didn't really switch just dropped the transaction management. That was a mistake. BoldTrail Back Office Transaction Management sucks.
