Pros Customizable to your needs. You can create your own checklists, esign, etc. Customer service is phenomenal about listening to users and implementing new changes to help benefit end user. Cons Mobile/App the mobile version is lacking behind with the rest of the industry. Being able to quickly access full BM on the go would be huge, but the mobile version simply doesn’t cut it. Realtor Real Estate Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Easier RE Transactions" February 13, 2020 5.0 Brokermint has been relatively easy to learn compared to our last file program. Creating and maintaining the transaction file is so much easier and cleaner. Again we are able to create tasks and multiple users which is so helpful when working with a group. Pros The thing I like most about Brokermint is the ability to ass multiple users to one file and the ability to assign and create tasks. Within our RE business we have several people working on one file and this platform helps to be sure everyone is on track and we know what needs to be done. I also love that there are features to create a ready to use form with dropped in signatures spots. It makes creating files so much easier. I feel this program helps to make each transaction smoother. Cons There are some features about saving and opening that are frustrating as far as when you think you have saved a form and it did not save some of the filled in spaces. Pros This is a very user friendly product that allows our real estate company to properly track deals. It is very user friendly and allows each agent to track their own deals while the back office can review docs and process commissions. If you want to keep paperless files and be able to review your pipeline and past transactions, this is the product for you. The customer support is very responsive and helpful. Cons Some of the reports take some effort to get the exact data you are looking for, but once you finalize your report criteria it is very easy to gather the data you need. Pros It has transformed the way we organize ourselves within the brokerage and has provided the admin team a fast, easy process to review documents. I also like that it connects to Quickbooks. It's given us the ability to better streamline payment to our agents. Cons The commissions tab is limited and there are a few features that could be tweaked slightly for a great benefit to users. For example, I'd like to be able to set more specific notification settings. Sometimes it seems like the support team doesn't truly understand Real Estate. When we don't have a good experience, the support staff is easy to reach to rectify the problem. Pros I like that we can easily search and add docs/checklists for each of our real estate properties. Cons There are a lot of features that aren't available, but I've put in ideas for and they're always inputting new ideas monthly. We're also had a lot of issues with the integration from Brokermint into Quickbooks. Pros Accessibility of uploaded files and having access to our other RE/MAX offices files Cons It takes a lot of time to upload everything into the program, the least thing I like is having to upload everything once we have a fallen sale and have to put it back as an active listing, it would be nice if we could copy / clone and just take out the things that are not relevant anymore instead of having to make a whole new listing. Pros Allows team members to easily pull up documents to view, print, or scan when needed remotely or in the office. Keeps documents secure in individual transactions. Allows transactions to be paperless. Cons Anything can be improved, but overall I think it's a good option. It could probably have some additional fields to gather more information. I think that it has cut down on time we would take to hand write things, and the problems we would have when one of us forgot the paper version at the office. We would have to go all the way back just to get it. Ugh. Pros I love that we were able to get rid of our old paper methods. Our company was in the "Stone Age" but with Brokermint, we have been able to transfer everything online. We don't have to worry about losing anything, and can have multiple people working on the same file, collaborating at the same time. Cons The fact that if I hit the "back" button, the screen grays out and I have to click on "refresh" to make Brokermint work. Minor annoyance, but still. I keep doing it, and it annoys me a ton. Pros I like that it's more than just a signing platform. Being able to communicate between myself and my transaction coordinator on a particular transaction has made the process so much smoother from start to finish. There is no confusion for the clients on where or what they are signing, it is very easy to use. I would recommend Brokermint to anyone looking for a smooth and simple program from contract to close! Cons Dislikes are loosing uploaded files when you unassign something in order to keep the file together and not require multiple emails asking for multiple signatures. Pros This app is well customized with many features: easy to organize the transactions, with edits and adding checklist, merging the transaction and rejecting it. Easy for the Broker to approve docs. Pros Everything is in one place. Once you get the hang of it, it is very user friendly. Cons You can't cancel a transaction that doesn't close escrow and have to make another transaction for it. You have to transfer the listing docs to the new transaction so you have them. ((what I don't like is to have to answer questions that I don't want to - with a minimum of 44 characters)) Cons The inefficiency when going through your calendar of tasks between the task and the email template. Blacked out screen if I use the back button instead of your green back button on my computer. The inability to change the titles along the left side of the screen. Pros Statements are easy for owners and tenants to follow. Cons That there is not a formal distribution report for our property managers to review before our bookkeeper does distributions. Pros The ability to have reporting and transaction management all the way through to closing and payroll has increased our overall efficiency. The ability to create tasks and align them with the proper person has created accountability throughout our office. We closed 58 deals in may of 2019! Our best yet and there is no way we could have done it as smoothly without Brokermint! Cons We are still not using the E-Sign and forms portion of the software, mainly due to a huge learning curve. We have 19 people using Dotloop currently and we would love to get everyone on BM but the learning curve has been steep. I have most of the information I need at my fingertips and can share tasks with other people and see when they have completed tasks. The program helps me to track where I am at in the sales process. Pros The ease of use and how you can share the tasks with other people. I love being able to see when tasks are complete or if they have not been completed by admin. Cons That I can not pull my numbers for the entire year. Things like units sold and gross commission income. The concept is exactly what we were looking for when we began and it works for our small company for now. We don't use the paperless system for agents, but have to pay for it anyway to issue payments through the system, which we feel is an unnecessary expense. They seem to be incorporating new features regularly at this point, so we're hoping it will continue to improve. Pros Syncs with QuickBooks Online for a fully web-based transaction management system. Cons Some of the reporting is beneficial, though I wish it were more customizable. The customer service response time is not good.
