Since then we have been able to quickly evolve, test and implement new features while actively conducting business. Pros As a trained project manager, I love that bubble is efficient and easy for new users to grasp. I had a limited coding background. However, I quickly learned how to manage the app, make simple edits and develop the tool with nothing more than practice and bubbles online resources. Cons No code is not a concept everyone understands, so it is sometimes hard to explain the limitations to non-tech staff who are only familiar with 100% customized/from scratch platforms. Pros What I love most is that anything is possible with Bubble! Some people say it's too complex, which in my opinion is a good thing. Thanks to Bubble I will (hopefully) never have to deal with the time and costs investments of launching a product with traditional code. Cons Honestly there isn't much I dislike about Bubble. They answer quickly, they provide detailed answers and they are nice. Pros I'm not a developer and I developed a complex APP on my own. I said it all. Bubble simply changes entrepreneurs' lives. Cons For me Bubble does not have cons but I must answer to that question. If you have no clue about coding, maybe it takes some time to understand how to use the software. One key reason is that it is about the only low-code platform that permits the easy drop-in of other APIs -- specifically, to directly permit end users to OAuth to their other apps instead of having to route through Zapier and other integration platforms. It works fantastic. Pros Being able to make production grade web applications in one hosted environment without code. A web app needs Design, Logic, Data and Hosting. This can require a team of people but bubble makes it easy for 1 person to deliver complete solutions! Cons Collaborative features (i.e. more than 1 developer working simultaneously on an app) is hard and requires some more work. Pros As a software engineer with lots of programming experience, I highly recommend Bubble. The speed and efficiency of development combined with its customizability makes Bubble truly game-changing. It is hands-down the best way to build early versions of most applications and with a bit more time and effort it can be scaled to handle later versions of your application. Cons Bubble is surprisingly scalable but optimizing performance is difficult and hacky. I am used to being able to optimize custom apps using caching, database indexing, etc. I think it would be possible for Bubble to implement some of this performance customization but I think they're just not focused on it. Easy database design. Groups and new responsive engine is great for precise UX design. Easy support of many languages. Excellent documentation, good sample videos and tutorials. Cons While many things are easy without code, some things are easier with code. All sorts of algorithmic stuff with loops and calculations should be available e.g. as JavaScript functions callable from the expressions (like VBA i Excel). This is a serious limitation. No concept of parameterised reusable elements. When inserting a reusable object it should be possible to pass in parameters for the reusable object to be configured. Not possible to preview when editing re-usable element. No concept of "Tennant" means that having many clients means entering "Tennant" in each and every database operation.
