I may try to use it again Pros I enjoyed how easy the tutorials were to follow and create a simple app. This software is perfect for people who are new to coding or those who don’t want to code Cons It was sometimes to maneuver through the app from the non-coding side and the coding side of Bubble was a bit confusing at times. Would like to have more classic logic like if then else, case, or switch logic blocks in workflow. The workflow do unless logic is a bit clunky at times. But you get used to it. It was a difficult and quite technical product to build (with lots of API call, parsing, etc) but super easy to do with Bubble Pros Bubble can do anything you can imagine in code. It’s in my opinion the best tool at the moment to create and iterate on web/mobile apps a pace you can’t imagine. Cons Quite difficult to master. Reason for choosing Bubble It was the set of clean information in the sense of having a clear and intuitive dashboard and as I said and I really like the database part, this part for me is fantastic. Flutterflow it requires you to register elsewhere and use the Google database and then go back to flutter flow and call the bank I hated that part, for a layman like me, it sucks. What I mean is that the bubble tool itself is so slow that it takes forever to load and work with it. It becomes a big bottleneck. I'm constantly bouncing these days. Also, there are too many dead bugs. You get issues that weren't there in the deployment, you get an issue, you press it, it goes away, and it freaks people out. It's only good for hobby projects or MVPs to show it to an investor. I lost 6 months of valuable time trying to learn the platform and build a real-world application. One fine day opened to an empty project with at least 40 pages missing. Bubble acknowledged that there was a glitch but unfortunately couldn't explain or provide me with any resolution. They did mention that FREE users have limited backups. So if you care about your application, better start with a paid plan and keep praying to God every day that your data should be safe. Pros Well, it's cheap and free, to begin with. That's about the only Pros I can think of. But like all free software, it comes with a lot of limitations. Cons Absolutely zero control over your code and data. You cannot export any part of your product. Everything is hosted on their platform. They provide only 12-hour backups for a FREE plan. So if any glitch happens from their side, you will completely lose everything and nothing can be recovered. A huge learning curve exists. So, if you are a non-coder wanting to build a working app, get ready to spend at least a few months to build a decent prototype. Designing responsive pages can be nothing short of a nightmare.
