Database Administrator Fund Development Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "The iBuildApp platform allowed me to build our company app in a matter of hours." February 9, 2018 4.0 I published apps under my own developer accounts at the App Store and Google Play - that is prestige which has spurred an interest in coding and a new career. iBuildApp has opened some doors for me as well as enhanced my career at my current employer. Pros You can build a fully functional, feature-rich mobile app and submit to the app store or google play under your own account - BAM! you are a published app writer. It has appeal on so many levels not the least of which is the possibility of reselling the apps you build generating a revenue stream. (yes iBuildApp has a reseller program). The other thing is the tremendous value offered by their lifetime support plan. It is a tier of support that is available but not highly publicized and offers lifetime support for a single app for a fixed price. I used that plan for our company app knowing that was the one app I would need continuous help and improvement with. Very glad I did so. They also boast a previewer which allows you to test your app in progress. They have a small model of an Android or iOS device, you click a switch and voila! you can preview the work you have completed to date. They also have great 3rd party integration partnerships. if you want to sell items through your app they have hundreds of shopping cart partners to choose from - they really make it easy. Cons Something do not work as planned for a plethora of reasons. When this occurs you have to use their support "Zendesk" and await a response. The good news is that they are very responsive and deliver on functionality - if they say it can be put into an app - they will make sure it works Review Source Katherine P. However, I recommend improving the errors that sometimes occur. It is very good to create applications so it should be constantly renewed. Pros You can create functional and excellent mobile apps for app stores or google play with your own account. It is attractive in many aspects, among which the possibility of reselling the applications you build generates a source of income. The other thing is the enormous value that your plan offers. It has preview and other things that are very good. Cons Sometimes things do not work as you want, which is very disturbing for those who use this application. However, for this type of problem you can use your "Zendesk" support and wait for an answer, since you always get one. Review Source TR Tom R. Marketing Director Construction Used the software for: 2+ years ### "They just want your money" February 1, 2023 1.0 I'm on their annual plan and was charged for a year last January 2022. I wanted to cancel my subscription but had already paid for it since I was auto-renew. So instead of canceling the service and then them removing my app right away, I decided to uncheck the auto-renew option, so the next year they wouldn't charge my cc. Well, January came around again and they went ahead and charged my card - even though they did not have permission. And then they say that "per their (made up) contract, there are no refunds and no expectations." So do I cancel now - even though I paid for another year - and have my app taken down right away or do I wait another year to cancel and try to get my money's worth? They also do send any communications when they charge your card. No email or invoice. They just do it, and you won't find out until you open your statement. Not good business. Pros The app did okay for us. Ok to develop and create Cons Looks kind of clucky with no real imapct. Pros Software was easy to use and setup. Drag and drop and control of many settings. Cons Could never get the system to download a build more than 81%. The submission service was nonexistent since it didn't work for me. So, without either of those methods to get the final product after paying for a year upfront, not a good deal. Cons use Zendesk for customer service but it is a little long to receive an answer when it is urgent and the app does not work at all . Pros you can create a feature rich app with out having to do any coding. you can publish to the app store or play store. There is lots of templates and feature that you can use. you can create any app you can thing of with this. Cons Sometime what you are trying to doesnt work but they have great customer service to help you out. If you want to create a mobile app easily then this software is best for you. You can create a your desired functional app. and keep it on app store or oogle play store. Cons Sometimes goes something wrong. This is very unhappy situation for those who are using this app. However you can youse their support options. iBuildApp provides miscellaneous support options.If you need help, you can contact the company by phone, email and live chat.
