I found some, however, the cost benefit was what finally convinced me. Pros The diversity of integrations it has with third-party services and the numerous features it includes. Cons If I had to say one, I think that the graphical interface can be improved to adapt to the new times, however it is fully functional. It is so easy: I started with simple projects and now I have hunderd of projects working in a scheduled way. Pros The power of the product, but in a really simple way. Moreover the programmers are really open to implement the features that you are in need of. They are really super!Ah, one more thing: not so expensive for an enterprise. Cons Some features are not so easy to understand the very first time but all the guys in the forum are really open to help you. Most are batch integrations and the majority involve database integrations (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle). Advanced ETL is coupled with Visual Cron for scheduled task execution. Pros AETL is great value for the money. In the domain of Integration, it may not necessarily cover all of the use cases, but it will handle the majority of tasks with ease. The learning curve is very fast and the application development cycle is short. The tool is very cheap and very versatile for the cost. It could be used in conjunction with other integration tools. Cons Support for message-based integrations and protocols is limited. Not necessarily a con, more of a note. Pros Software supports all modern stacks from Tableau , Postgres, SQL , NoSQL , MS Excel ,CSV etc. Software is actively developed , devs listen to feedback actively, and explain their rationale. Packages can be run from UI , with command line , headless using scripts. It natively supports Python 3 in both calculations & packages, you can run them natively or run them via scripts Cons User needs to understand, like photoshop AETL is very deep and cannot be learned within 10 minutes , it requires you to spend time exploring software. It’s a powerful and reliable tool that makes complex ETL tasks so much easier. What really stood out to me was the fantastic support team—they respond quickly and are super helpful. I was also really impressed with how fast they implement new features based on feedback. On top of that, the value for money is excellent. You get a lot of functionality without breaking the budget. Pros What I liked most about Advanced ETL Processor was how easy it was to use. Even with complex tasks, the interface made everything feel pretty straightforward. I also really appreciated how it could handle different data sources and automate a lot of the work—that was a huge time-saver. Cons The user interface could be a bit more intuitive in some areas. At times, it's not the easiest to navigate, which can slow things down a little. ETL-TOOLS is used to bring them into our productions systems, and return any/all customer data requirements. ETL-TOOLS is used to synchronized our production systems to out data warehouse such that our data warehouse is only minutes behind actual ETL-TOOLS is also used to provide an electronic solution to many of the business and operations area. The idea is remove clerical hours and allow everyone to find and fix root causes and provide efficiencies where they are found Pros The most important is the ETL-Tools has a comprehensive tools sets to handle almost anything thrown at it. If you can analyze the problem, break it down into its components, ETL-Tools has the what is need to properly solve the issue. If you have something that is not in their tool set, the people behind the scenes are always looking for new functionality to build. Cons There are so many ways to solve problems and do things, I wish there was something that could tell you the best way to do it, but that comes with time and knowledge. If you have a problem or scenario you cannot solve, go to their support forum and you normally get a reply back in a few hours. It is easy to install and upgrade. The team at DB Software Laboratory have always been responsive with many feature requests being positively considered for inclusion in upcoming releases. Pros The tool set is relatively easy to learn and generally intuitive to use. The ability to design and build reusable ETL elements through a graphical user interface at an affordable price was what drew us to the product in the first instance. We have been faced with a number of interface challenges and with support from the team at DB Software Laboratory we have been able to overcome them through timely extensions to the base product. Cons Whilst the online documentation could do with some updates and extra detail it is easily accessible and very readable. We hope to see continued polish to the base product and its documentation. I load and extract data / run scripts / send email to customers all in one. Cons For small setup it may use an integrated DB more efficient than Access DB. The Pharmacy wrote its own customer service program. The customer service program expands the data received from the prescription software. Pros Imports data very reliably once set up properly. April 16, 2026 5.0 Like any software, it can be used after some learning, but unlike most "simple" systems, you can continue to learn, continue to expand your capabilities to literally handle any transformation you can imagine. ETL-TOOLS.COM has built over decades an extremely flexible and advanced tool, like EXCEL, it must be explored and pushed so you can find all the great capabilities. We have not found a single request from our clients that hasn't been solved with ETL-TOOLS.COM. The only requirement for us is to keep learning. Which is what all truly great software allows and encourages. Pros Firstly, the product is technically amazing. The value for the cost is by far the most value in the ETL market. We love that it is ON-PREMISE and not CLOUD HOSTED because we don't want to waste time or risk security moving data to the cloud. But the best part of ETL-TOOLS.COM is their personal and caring support team. I must also add that besides the TEAM being amazing at ETL-TOOLS.COM, their website has extraordinarily high level of examples and documentation. 90% of our questions have been answered in their existing help materials. If we can’t find the answer, the ETL-TOOLS support team is quick to offer ideas or even jump into a meeting and help show, solve your problems. They are truly one of a kind in this market. Cons Like ALL software it can have bugs. However, ETL-TOOLS jump into fixing bugs immediately. Making this \*\* CON really is a \*\* PRO, because ETL-TOOLS.COM truly cares about making the best software, and THEY FIX BUGS if you find them, unlike most of the competitors who ignore you, or tell you thanks and do nothing. Great documentation online and Great Support. Most of the cloud companies seem to be "locking you into them" by holding all your resources and transformations, ETL allows you to control and keep ownership of all your transformations. Switched from [Microsoft Excel](https://www.capterra.com/p/176574/Excel/) Excel of course is amazing, but it's not "programmable" for repetative tasks or testing processing. ETL is a much better choice. Plus all the transformations are visual and can be explained, where EXCEL is more cryptic and difficult to explain. Conversion of Regulatory ALERT files, downloads of economic data from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, home indexes from Case Shiller, commercial real estate indexes for Moody's, FTP processes, writing to Excel, MS Access and SQL Server, the list goes on. Using their scheduler & command line utility in addition to Microsoft's Task Scheduler automates everything! Pros It's a full featured ETL product. Easy to use and very powerful. I was the CEO if two banks for over 25 years with lots of IT experience. When I co-founded my last bank (AltaPacific Bank) in 2006 I started to use their professional version and later upgraded to their enterprise version. After I retired in 2020 I founded my consulting business for financial institutions. I have yet to come across an ETL product with all of the essential functionality at an incredibly low cost of ownership. The regional bank's IT department that purchased AltaPacific Bank was very impressed! Cons I have nothing negative to say about the product. Their support team is incredible! Quick responses, very helpful and on many occasions have enhanced their objects' functionality to solve our business needs, generally, within a few days. Always been very responsive. Pros We manage data on behalf of large enterprise organisations. Our customers use a variety of marketing automation tools, CRM, ERP and email distribution systems, and we need to suck data in from different systems and pump data out. We use Oracle and SQL Server systems to manage the data. Setting up new users is pretty straightforward with this tool, and I have been using it for around 10 years. Cons Not a lot to mention on cons; when you have a problem the support guys are usually on it straight away. It feels a very personal service. The front end has some quirks that take a bit of getting used to, but the documentation covers it all. Review Source TM Teun M. You can easily set up more complex data processes. In addition to links with SQL (both on-prem and in Azure), you can also process e-mails periodically read attachments (for example CSV) and automatically transfer them to a database. Reading QVDs (Qlik Data files) is also a very pleasant functionality for us. Cons Don't be put off by the look & feel of this tool. It feels a little bit Windows XP-esque. You can choose other look & feel themes yourself, but it would be better if out-of-the-box 1 clear, well-arranged (modern) look & feel were offered. Reason for choosing Advanced ETL Processor First choice was voor converting QVD files. Later on we use the tool also for other complex data transport en transformation processes. Using this system we were able to integrate data streams from over 40 NHS organisations into one single DB. Cons No specific issue (cons) have been identified. Reason for choosing Advanced ETL Processor System provided a lot more functionality compared to the basis SSIS. It was a lot more visual and made it easier to design\\automate various processes.
