The AI rewriting is fabulous. There are still some glitches as I remember, which we can discuss in details through your support, as we have already started. Highly recommended for those who don't have any idea about how to build a proper business plan and use that content/information to build deliverables that not only bring the vision to life but also make it easier to "sell" the idea to others. Aside from keeping the business plan development process super organized, it definitely opened our eyes to a lot of other aspects of business creation that we hadn't thought about. So, as an educational tool (outside of its direct function), it was pretty awesome. Highly recommended! Pros The tool is incredibly comprehensive and covers pretty much every base imaginable for building a business plan (and beyond) from start to finish. Not to mention, it makes collaboration across teams a breeze and is mostly easy to use – even for those who aren't used to doing this kind of a work in a tech-forward way. And finally, the UI is clean, intuitive, and well organized. Overall, a very strong tool for those who want to build solid business plans. Cons The ONLY downsides is the one-size-fits-all approach (which, for some business ideas, may be too complex as a starting point). While I realize that there are some best practices to follow – which this tool definitely captures – a lot of entrepreneurs with a business idea don't have all the answers right out the gate. What could be an interesting evolution of this tool would be to provide "beginner," "intermediate," and "advanced" options – depending on the stage of the business idea. Or perhaps, starting with the "foundational" elements first (aka, beginner) and then having the option to add on more advanced areas of the plan development as you go. I only suggest this because, for some, trying to tick every box may seem overwhelming and, as a result, cause people to stop using the tool. For better adoption, I'd say, make it super accessible to all – and then let those with a more baked business idea go the distance. (At least, that's how we felt – we appreciated the comprehensiveness of the tool but were equally overwhelmed by how much ground to cover...that we weren't quite yet ready to cover.) I was provided a platform that took my business plan 10x better than what I could have done on my own, or even more so! Pros The simplicity and intuitiveness to help augment my workflow were exactly what I was looking for. As professional as I am, it is always nice to “enjoy” working, and Upmetrics does just that for me. Also, I had a couple of support issues which were addressed with lightening speed. This is a huge factor and they at Upmetrics have customer service nailed. Cons Upmetrics is not perfect. There are some quirky things as with all software and systems. What I did not like was the menus always requiring me to re-hide them when switching sections. Pros Business planning and financial forecasting are an integral part of our service offerings as business consultants. Creating business and financial plans for multiple clients and managing all these documents was becoming challenging for us. With Upmetrics, clients can make business/strategic plans, pitch decks, and financial forecasts in one place. Since our consulting team can easily review plans and add their feedback using collaborative workspaces, our processes became more seamless and consultants productive. All thanks to Upmetrics. Cons We use a different business plan structure for different types of clients. Since they can't provide templates for all those types, we had to create some of our custom templates. It's great that Upmetrics has functionality for that.
