We have been long-term users of phone.systems and recently contacted support to add an additional seat. What should have been a simple request turned into a lengthy discussion that highlighted serious issues with pricing transparency and fairness. Internally, we discussed the proposed pricing with our team, and the concern was not the absolute cost itself, but rather the way the increase is applied and the percentage of the increase. With no clear pricing structure available, it becomes impossible to plan costs over time. If the price is defined this way today, there is no clarity on what it might become tomorrow. During these internal discussions, another recurring issue also emerged: the mobile app has been problematic from day one and has never worked reliably for us. While third-party applications can partially work around this limitation, relying on external tools to compensate for core functionality is far from ideal. Overall, the lack of pricing predictability combined with an unreliable mobile experience makes it difficult to recommend this solution to businesses that expect transparency and long-term scalability.

Pros

The core calling functionality is generally stable, and the platform can work adequately for basic use cases. Customer support representatives are polite and responsive, and they do make an effort to follow up on requests.

Cons

The pricing policy lacks transparency and predictability, especially for long-term customers who need to scale gradually. Adding seats results in disproportionate price increases (up to 500%), applied without a clear or publicly documented pricing model. Additionally, the mobile application has been unreliable from the very beginning and has never worked properly in our experience, which significantly impacts day-to-day usability.

Pros

It is less expensive than some other phone systems and I like that I can use it on my cell phone.

Cons

The website is a little hard to navigate. The cost seemed to vary from month to month at times.

It was nice that it was less expensive than the other phone system I used. Also can be HIPAA compliant.

Seriously can't say how awesome this software and company is.

Pros

I currently use call.center and phone.systems for my small, distributed office phone system. The cross OS and device software works GREAT and is a COMPLETE pax solution... at least for me. I'm honestly excited to see how this software evolves over the next few months and years.

Cons

Documentation is a little light, but support is UNMATCHED... seriously. DIDww (parent company) bent over backwards to help me get set up properly and helped me get my VOIP phones working the right way.
