President Media Production Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Might not work for you" November 24, 2025 1.0 If you need an hosted email solution, Rocketseed may be a good fit for you. But be certain that the solution will indeed work in your case before you sign your contract, or you may just be out of luck, like us. Pros I have to start by saying that Rocketseed's email signature product is great for most everyone looking for a hosted signature solution. In our case, however - and I want to make it clear that despite their best efforts to find a solution us, Rocketseed has failed us. As mentioned, their team was helpful and diligent in trying to solve our problem. I have no problems with their staff who were assigned to work with us. Our request from Rocketseed, was to have the email signature appear only once at the beginning of the email thread, and on subsequent replies and/or forwards, having no signature or banner appear. We have 10 users in our company who use Mac Mail, and apparently, there is a known issue with Apple’s Mail whereby a bit of code that is not able to be circumvented creates an issue with embedded images being removed from email threads, and therefore we weren’t able to achieve the desired result with Rocketseed. That's not my problem with Rocketseed. Cons My problem is despite knowing that their system does not work for us, their stance is ‘our finance team isn’t able to issue a prorated refund for the remaining term’. In our company, if we can’t make something work, we don’t just say, sorry - no refund. We make it right, or we give the customer their money back. I’ve asked this of Rocketseed, but instead of doing what I consider would be the right thing to do, they simply stand by a blanket statement of no money back. You signed a contract, you’re out of luck. They have offered us a credit for use of their other services, but we don’t need those services - we only needed the hosted email signature. It’s kinda like going shopping for a new suit and finding one that looks great, but after trying it on, it doesn’t fit quite right. So instead of refunding our money, they’re offering us a hat, or an umbrella. We don’t need those things. We’d just like our money back. This is a situation where a company has an opportunity to do the right thing, but we’re just too small to worry about. We lose, they win. Review Source BD Bill D. I am the company's subject matter expert for Rocketseed, but I work with Rocketseed when I can't figure something out or need a signature adjusted. Pros What I like most about the Rocketseed email signature, is that the portal is easy to use. Standardization from a central location. Cons What I like least about the Rocketseed email signature is that if you change the name of a signature, any groups it was assigned to will be lost and you have to reassigned it to the groups. I feel that we get a lot out of it to justify the cost. Pros I like that Rocketseed email signatures has robust reporting and analytics data and the ability to randomly assign banners to different users so that users don't always have the same banner unless manually changed. Cons The set up was a little complicated and users sometimes have trouble making it show up but support has been helpful with that. It did not take long to understand how to use it effectively and management is minimal. One has good control of the product from the interface to apply and adapt required changes. It is very effective for marketing campaings. Cons There is room for improvement on the performance of the app/interface. Incredibly patient with our very particular business and users. Pros Rocketseed proposed a solution that would create a simplified process allowing our marketing team to create and update email signatures without using HTML. This created an easy process that included email banners that could be personalized and added to specific divisions within our organization. Our team appreciates the flexibility of altering email signatures with ease, managing email signatures is not a main concern we confront. Cons The only difficulties that we've had is implementing the tool for several different kinds of signatures for our very specific business. We figured it out but it took additional time to come up with the templates and implement them. Pros I like the fact that the email signatures were easy to implement into our company and gave our company a uniform look while communicating internally and externally. The signatures were easy to set up, customize and change, should it be required. The clickable links on the signature is a great addition, that boosts marketing for the company. Cons The only con could be that you cannot add graphics behind text on the signature. However, it is not a huge problem at all. Reason for choosing Rocketseed Email Signatures I worked with Rocketseed/ Morgan Henderson at the previous company I worked for. When the issue regarding email signatures and email banners came about in the new company, I knew that working with Rocketseed/ Morgan again would be the best way forward. Cons The initial implementation stage was challenging as there was a delay in getting it set up. I believe I should have been given more options than what was provided.
