We use HubSpot for the marketing comunication of the agency. All organization use it, in fact, all of us are certified in Inbound Methodology. With HubSpot we are attracting and connecting with our target marketing, using the content as basic fuel of our strategy. Additionally, the tool brings us the opportunity to train our team with all certifications and study resources.

Pros

Content management, It facilitates the creation of any piece of content. From a post to social networks, a blog post, a mailing or Landing Page. Contact management, Because it allows for a total tracking of each user from reaching away until it becomes a client. Also it helps to monitor the life cycle of each contact and creating smart for debugging database lists. Keyword management, I love completely handling the keywords of HubSpot because it helps you to do research, it helps you track and in each publication helps you with optimizing contents. The forms, With smart fields avoid frequent contacts ask the same information and thus helps us limentar our database with additional information about each person.

Cons

Keywords suggestions only work in English and short tail keywords.

My overall experience is that compared to other cpms out there this is the best one. It really does what it is supposed to do without a doubt.

Pros

To put it plainly, HubSpot is an inbound promoting and deals stage that assists organizations with drawing in guests, convert leads and close clients. ... Accordingly, organizations are better prepared to oversee deals and promoting exercises productively, and leads can be sustained through the purchaser's excursion easily.

Cons

The no customer support, the way you have to navigate between what you want and need compared to what you need . The slower time between platforms.

Pros

Hubspot is easy to understand and implement as the user interface is pretty straight forward. The tutorial, when first launching the software, guides you through the basics and gives quickly an understanding of the structure and functionality. The level of customization is enough to make it suit most businesses needs. Most importantly though, not everything has to be done by the user. Hubspot offers a variety of features to automate processes and avoid the time consuming manual input of all the data while using the software. By inserting the email address of a contact, Hubspot will fetch information from the web to create a profile for the contact's company. Contacts' status will update automatically every time a sale involving that contact is materialized. You can also link your email to Hubspot allowing to keep a record of your correspondence, organized by contact or specific related deal. The software integrates a contact, a customer and a project database along with a To-Do list, notes and calendar which is really great, since you have all the tools you need in one place. Additionally you can attach files in each of your deals, which comes handy in some cases. Along with a variety of marketing tools, you will love being on Hubspot's mailing list. Instead of annoying newsletters, Hubspot will email you marketing tricks usually enriched with free goodies, like templates, guides and more.

Cons

I have to think a lot in order to find a negative aspect of Hubspot. A feature I would like to be enhanced is the ability to issue sales forecasts. You can do it, but it lacks some useful options like stage invoicing and invoicing/payment schedules.

Overall its a good, easy to use tool. Paying for contacts can get very expensive but again they do offer cheaper tiers for smaller businesses. The toolset available is useful and functionality works well for me. If you want full customisation and control, maybe you would benefit from shopping around and choosing another marketing platform.

Pros

The pricing plans available range from smaller businesses (single entity) to much larger scale ones. The pricing can be good but can start to add up by the more contacts you're marketing to. That being said you do get a lot of bang for your buck. Scheduling ads, emails and social media posts is really great to do in one place. There are also templates and Hubspots own guides to help you with what you'd like to achieve.

Cons

If you have used a website builder you’ll understand that some can be more limiting and restrictive, the same can sometimes be said with Hubspot. It follows a simpler design to make the workflow process easier and quicker for most people. That being said, sometimes templates and certain functions don't always cut it. This would mostly only be a problem when it comes to more advanced use case scenarios but even images can be an issue. Just remember to follow their image scale sizes otherwise yours will be cropped or stretched a certain way to fit the template style.

Pros

The functionalities are great, everything you need to track leads and send them down your funnel. The automatic e-mail tracking and call notes are awesome!

Cons

The learning curve was steep, bulk importing contacts was not easy, setting up deals didn't seem worth it until you actually see all that can be done?

I've been using the HubSpot Marketing Hub for a few months now and it has saved me a lot of time. There are so many tools in the Marketing Hub that help me in my marketing efforts, from emailing my contacts with personalized content, to tracking my leads and sending automated emails based on their actions. HubSpot also allows me to collaborate with my team and send them updates on our campaigns and tasks. If you want to make your life easier in the marketing department, I definitely recommend using the Marketing Hub.

Pros

What I love most about HubSpot is that it's easy to use and that they do a good job of keeping up with the latest industry developments. Their learning portal is fantastic, their support is top notch, and the system is relatively easy to navigate.

Cons

I've got a bit of a laundry list here: 1) I was told by my sales rep that any lead that comes through a form would sync instantly to Salesforce - this was our #1 requirement when looking for an automation platform. There was even documentation about it in the portal that they provided me with. Not at all the case. 2) So many of their systems do not speak to one another... their blog doesn't have multi location functionality similar to their landing pages or web pages, certain objects can be filtered based off of rolling dates while others can't, their pop-up forms email functionality is limited, the pop-up forms don't integrate smoothly with the forms, etc. 3) An extension of my last point, I feel like they try to release as much as many thing as possible without fine tuning them.

Hubspot is an incredible tool that makes it easy to handle all of your marketing tools in one platform. It is so awesome to be able to log in and update my blog, check on my stats, track my progress to goals, post on social media, update my website, and check SEO all in one spot. It majorly increases my efficiency, I don't know what I'd do without Hubspot.

Pros

I love the simple UI, and the fact that the company provides such detailed online training documentation both for the product and for inbound marketing in general. Hubspot really is a partner in the success of our company, with awesome support staff and helpful account managers. They have a great onboarding process that will leave even an inexperienced market feeling capable and competant.

Cons

Hubspot is designed to be used by anyone, so once you start getting fancy on the code, you start running into problems where Hubspot defaults try to override your customizations. You can work around it, but it's clear that it wasn't built for this purpose.

Pros

Hubspot makes it easy to build email marketing campaigns, track the results, and glean relevant insights. It can integrate with existing websites, and the landing page and call-to-action creation is simple and intuitive. Its a powerful platform that comes with an entire knowledge base of tips, resources, and ideas for marketing professionals of all kinds, and the tech support is fantastic.

Cons

The platform gets updated quite a bit (a good thing), but sometimes this means that navigation items/functions change locations, and interfaces/views change and require adjustment. Hubspot is also comparatively expensive, and if a company builds its entire marketing campaign in Hubspot (blogs, email, landing pages, etc.) its hard to move everything to a new platform

For a while they did not offer automated emails for our plan. That changed and is a huge asset for us.

### "A Really Excellent Inbound Marketing Tool"

Pros

HubSpot's a very robust tool. It contains a lot of apps that all speak to each other, which is really great if, like me, you're on a very small marketing team and have to prioritise time as much as possible when you're responsible for so many different tasks. The content optimization tools are excellent (in-post SEO help, campaign strategy tools, keyword difficulty/traffic info). The automation functionality is also stupendous and there are various opt-in/opt-out capabilities so that you can really tailor the UX of your lead generation to fit your persona's buying habits, THE LAW, and your own company ethos regarding data collection. What I will say to those considering HubSpot for their own organization is to use as many apps as possible and "go all in" - otherwise inbound isn't going to be as effective as you want it to be.

Cons

I'd love to see improved cross-domain functionality in the Enterprise edition. It'd be great to monitor keyword results on multiple subdomains as opposed to just the target domain. I also look forward to the social monitoring functionality moving beyond Twitter. While there are a lot of resources available (the academy, community, email support) the learning curve can be steep for those on the start up program who don't get a designated account manager.

Overall I'd recommend Hubspot as it can handle just about everything and has multiple pricing plans.

Pros

Setting up multi-channel customer support is easy with Hubspot and we loved how any contact initiated by a website visitor had a client profile automatically created and stored in our CRM.

Cons

There were some limitations with the free version such as restrictions on connecting more than two social media sites.

Also possibility to see marketing statistics and e-mail sequence management can be set up really quickly yet personal.

Sometimes it was hard to seek HubSpot customer service in case of any problems.

What we love about HS is all that we've described above, but the price point is pretty killer for a small/young start-up or non-profit. They do have a program that they have for start-ups, BUT you have to be one of an incubator or funded by VCs. Listen,t hat's NOT who needs the price point break. This was really upsetting when we found out they have this but we're not eligible. They told us "too bad!" and didn't seem to care. If you lock in companies when they're young, when they grow, they will a) remain more loyal and b) too entrenched to even want to move. The concept was nice on this program- the execution, not so much. Funded companies don't need price breaks. VCs only fund 1% of companies seeking funding. Incubators have a great network and intros. It's EVERYONE ELSE in start-up land who needs help and on that front they can do better.

Pros

Hubspot is a robust software that helps us organize and streamline our sales and marketing efforts, together. We can create landing pages and a drip campaign with workflows that the sales team can jump in and out of at any time. It helps us get organized, and the new editor is really helpful. Need to learn more about the testing capabilities too to increase conversions.

Cons

We had to hire a hubspot expert to help us figure out some of the more sophisticated features - mainly around set-up and integration of automation. She had to do a couple of "hacks" to make the system work the way we wanted it to, but eventually did (at a cost).

The marketing hub on its own is alright. The real benefit of hubspot is the sales + marketing suites together as they work really well.

Pros

Some how it makes you focus on the right customers to get the best results. The lead qualification features are really advanced.

Cons

The price. It’s like mailchimp where it starts off cheap and gets really expensive. However if you use it correctly it will pay for itself.

We has receive so many benefit when deploying this software as our main hub for our marketing automation. Serving our customer and managing their ticket and inquire by email or contact form has been more easy to handle by this software.

Pros

HubSpot Marketing Hub has the least learning curves that even our newest member of our team can navigate and using all the tools here without too much training. Editing the email and newsletter template and preview it in mobile device or normal web browser before finalize the design help us to manage the layout better for our customer viewing it.

Cons

I really hope they can add more customization option for the template for us to have more dynamic and interactive email landing page. Integration with Wordpress plugin is a bit buggy and not capturing the right row of data. We had to import it manually and it really taking times and so much hassle for us.

I’m 50-50 with HubSpot. I see it as a compromise and middle step until we are able to get more specialized solutions for each one of their offerings.

Pros

HubSpot is a good solution for organizations at their early steps. It provides all the necessary tools for website management and marketing activities. The contacts’ management is good too.

Cons

It doesn’t go in-depth on anything. For everything that HubSpot does there is a platform that does it better. But we would need many different tools so we stay with all in one but shallow approach (for now). It is also very expensive for what it is.

Pros

Hubspot gives you a massive amount of data about your potential customers and tells you how likely the lead is to become a customer. You can view how frequently a lead is visiting your website, which emails they've opened, which landing pages get the most traffic, etc. The data that Hubspot provides helps you guide your marketing plan in a direction that your target market is most likely to respond to. That data is incredibly accurate and if anything seems off, the customer service department is quick to respond. The thing I love most about Hubspot are the certifications. As a manager, I can require my sales team to get "Hubspot certified" which means they watch a series of videos to learn how Hubspot marketing works. This is all completely available via Hubspot and makes training a breeze.

Cons

The algorithm for predictive lead scoring could use a bit of work. I've had complaints from my team that a non responsive lead can be listed high on the predictive lead scoring, when the chance of this lead converting to a customer is slim to none.

We have been able to improve out Email Send Score by clearing out hard bounces, dead leads, unengaged contacts, and segmenting lists appropriately.

Pros

HubSpot has been my go-to CRM at the past two organizations I've worked for. In fact, my current company hired me because they were completely lost and had made a mess of their HubSpot- they were excited that I was proficient in it and could help get it back in order and show them capabilities they didn't know. What I like most about HubSpot is its transparency. You can see metrics and analytics as they happen in real time. Automation is a breeze. Customer support is very accessible. The HubSpot Academy makes learning new features enjoyable and engaging.

Cons

It's possible that you may receive 3 different answers from 3 different customer support representatives. If you have an account manager or a Customer Success Manager I would recommend leaning on them for best practices.
