Pros

\- The product does a lot and has a lot of features that can be used (triggering communication that is based on actions, properties, etc), however, its sometimes tough to configure and takes a bit of practice- You can easily run A/B tests- Email heatmap is available to see where people are clicking which is cool

Cons

\- No place for comments to share among the team if you are collaborating with someone on things- Templates can be not easy to modify- Managing contacts is not innovative, looks like in any other tools that are lower priced

Pros

\- Easily automate marketing efforts with workflows and smart lists - Great way to hold your marketing database and get messages sent out in mass or in highly targeted campaigns based on specific criteria - Customer Support replies quickly and usually with a solution. If they don't have an immediate solution they will follow up within a couple days with a solution

Cons

\- The workflow tool is a bit cumbersome and will not allow you to bring branches back to the main "tree" of the workflow. Because of this the workflows either become MASSIVE trees with duplicated steps or you end up fragmenting your customer journey throughout many workflows which becomes unmanageable quickly.

Hubspot has helped us automate so many aspects of our marketing, and we are constantly finding ways that we can improve what we are doing with the updates they roll out. They seem to have a good culture in their company and it comes across in a lot of their customer-facing communications.

Pros

Hubspot is constantly making update to their systems, in all different areas. It's good to see that they are working to improve their processes and build new offerings. The Hubspot Academy and knowledge base are full of useful articles, blog entries, and information about questions you probably will have about all of the things Hubspot can do. Their helpdesk/chat is also helpful when you can get a hold of someone.

Cons

I get emails from Hubspot (who are know for their marketing automation, and who we rely on heavily to automate our emails to what we hope are the right leads) that are not meant for me or aren't relevant to me. They are usually followed up with an "oops we screwed up" email clarifying that something went wrong and I was sent that by mistake. It's a little concerning to see that they screw up with their own system, but they handle it pretty well and in a down-to-earth kind of way that I appreciate.

Pros

I love the user-friendly nature and quality that makes it easier for me to analyze how the workflow operates. The insight into prospect activity is outstanding.

Cons

One of the downsides of this software is the price comparison to others of its kind. Hubspot is a little limited in real-time functionality.

I really like how it tracks whether or not someone opens your email, when they open it. The virtual paper trail is indespensible.

Cons

There doesn't seem to be an incredible incentive to use the paid version. Also, the company doesn't give a trial period of the paid version.

Pros

I like the fact that it can be both used as a CRM, an email marketing tool and a marketing tool.

Cons

Some features could be improved : for example, to add related articles to the carousel under an article, you have to enter each article by ID. One by one.

Overall experience has been smooth from day 1. I would recommend HubSpot to any marketing team looking to simplify their marketing automation experience.

Pros

I love that HubSpot was built to be intuitive. I've used a couple of its major competitors and in order to simply find an email was treacherous - let alone actually sending something or trying to understand its impact. Nearly anyone can use HubSpot, navigate around and find what they're looking for. Plus it integrates with the rest of our tech stack making day to day operations and reporting painless.

Cons

I will say integration with Salesforce has been a nightmare. This is mostly due to how our current SFDC instance is set up though.

HubSpot has helped me grow as a marketer. Early on I was able to take advantage of their training sessions that helped me quickly get up to speed. I've been able to produce a volume of work that would not be humanly possible without HubSpot's tools. Most importantly, I've been able to show real results in the form of organic traffic growth, lead generation, content engagement, and conversions.

Pros

Cons

Due to company growth, it feels like the support team has less experience and takes a bit longer to address issues. They are still very helpful and work to find a resolution.

Intuitive UI, flexible feature set and powerful admin control make using Hubspot effectively an easy task. Hubspot seamlessly integrates with all our email platforms, CM and other business solutions. We have also found it easy to work with HubSpot support to train our teams and even integration campaign tracking functions into our website and gamification solutions.

Cons

Working with HubSpot support is hit or miss. Sometimes great, other times quite poor. HubSpot is also a bit clunky to operate across multiple admin functions. It ended up being easier to hire a Marketing resource to own the Hubspot admin role (among other tasks) and simply leave it with one owner.

I love Capteera - I am NOT a review writer, but sometimes the public just needs to know that something in our innovative world works really well. Alternatively I feel responsible for helping others avoid what has been a bad/disappointing. experience. Software is too intimate or basic to our lives - it creates true angst if or when it goes wrong, so I reach out to help others and Capteera helps me do that easily and well. Thanks Capteera for helping us upgrade our world with little stress.

Pros

Unfortunately for this really good company time seems to have passed them by. I read everything HubSpot wrote and went twice to a worldwide event - but they don't have much new to say for the SME and others out there are taking over the field.

Cons

Because I loved what I had learned from them I steered our company to a year long, very expensive contract, what I found was a system based on the old days when our tech wasn't as modular and people just wanted a website that works - the basic problem is that they want to own your web turf - they just don't play well with others. As a modern innovative company we are agile and our software comes and goes according to need - that was not an environment that HubSpot wanted to support - as they are based on the concept that you host your website with them as well. Its been a while now and we've moved on - its possible some of this has been fixed but I am sceptical they will ever completely overcome these roots. Old school doesn't win out in an agile world.

Great software that comes in handy when managing campaigns on different platforms. Too expensive to really get its full benefit.

Pros

Easy to use and set up. Gather and organize rich data about your customers who visit your site or talk with you on your website. Good integrations with other softwares and extensive knowledge base.

Cons

It’s far too expensive for what you get. If you are company that specializes in software advice/ sales or only have to manage a sales team it may be worth it. Otherwise it’s very easy to set up and implement.

Greatest marketing tool for any marketer on the web. Period.

Pros

\- You get what you pay for. HubSpot beats all others, hands down - If you get the enterprise features, you are building in event triggers and more that can help you scale the platform quite well - Really easy to use, and functional - Amazing support

Cons

\- Expensive and difficult to break down / move in and out of contracts or tiers as needed - Expensive onboarding, and hard to waive - Can be daunting to setup initially to justify the ROI - Really difficult offboard. The CTAs, buttons, links, reports, etc. become deeply embedded in your sales system and process. Will be near impossible to leave without major hiccups.

Before i will use multiple tools to accomplish all the task which Hubspot combines and provides on its platform which was tiring especially when i wasn't good thus i definitely recommend this software and marketing tool for other as i have realized and increase in sales and clients engagement given i am able to use a static and active data segment for my business. I maximize my data capacity more than most traditional CRM tools I used before using Hubspot marketing, built my website, communication and mailing list for potential and existing clients.

Pros

It's got me going with my marketing campagnes and online business success. I like that I can always reach out for support by phone call.. It's an all in one tool with multiple functions you don't need to struggle but just master as it is connected with web hosting, data segmenting support, CRM, marketing and Sales Hub means there are no issues with integrations.My digital products are running with their optimum.

Cons

On the low end HubSpot Marketing Hub is not always obvious with tasks but requires a little more patience and consistency for mastery which support helps with mastery.

It was a great experience. I have worked with the platform for over five years, and I feel like it's a second home in my makreting efforts.

Pros

I think the best thing about all of the Hubspot suite of products is their ease of use. There isn't a huge learning curve to getting on board with the platform, and if you do get stuck - their support is honestly one of the best in the business. Even if you are having an issue that can't be resolved by a quick phone call, they will take it on board and get back to you in a timely manner.

Cons

The only negative I can think of for Hubspot, is that you are locked into a one-year contract. There are also a variety of add on tools that you have to buy separatenyl.

\- Easy to sync social media accounts (FB, Twitter, Instagram, IG) - The appearance of the image banner & meta description when posting a link to schedule - Its very smooth for scheduling content to multiple platforms. One post can be replicated & ready to repurpose on another platform, simply by just by clicking the social media platform icon of choice on the original post - The Certified Social Media Academy course is excellent. I've been working in social media for 5 years, and still learned a lot. I liked the course was broken down to every aspect of social media. I appreciated the examples of social media tools (paid and free) that were suggested. -The reports are really great. Very detailed and everything a social media manager needs.

Cons

You can upload medium to large files to schedule on Instagram. I would upload a high quality photo, and be unable to upload and schedule, due to the size. Would like to be able to schedule high quality photos using hubspot. Same with videos. I found is difficult to upload medium to large vids. Would be nice to be able to do that too. I enjoyed the reports, but having even more advanced details or sophisticated analytic tracking would be next level

The whole of HubSpot is a great product. New features constantly, great training videos available, great marketing emails sent out and great customer service. Thank you!

Pros

The ease of use. I use HubSpot Marketing Hub every day and it's so easy to plan a whole marketing campaign on, even setting up workflows is a doddle! Everything just makes sense. The UI is great too. Fresh and clean.

Cons

The only con is that sometimes you can do things on marketing hub that you can't do on service hub. It would be great if all hubs could be used together as a true 360 experience.
